Legend has it that two of the world's greatest ancient civilizations, the roman and Egyptian empires, had, at one point, worshipped a sacred scroll. Said to be sent to Rome by the chief god of mythological times, Jupiter, and by the Egyptian god of light, Horus, these scriptures contained the meaning of life. However, the reader of each scroll would become deaf and blind, and would be forever cursed by an ominous cloud of guilt. Lara has set off to Rome, where she believes she may find one of the two ancient scrolls, not to use its amazing power, but to continue her search in Egypt for the second. Only fate knows what is in store for Lady Croft from then on... |
