Christmas Eve in Venice. In a small area on the outskirts of the town suddenly the lights go out in every house, street and canal. Assuming that this sudden blackout has been caused by criminals all inhabitants immediately leave this dark part of town in order to celebrate Christmas at another place. Lara Croft is in Venice at the same time. She is looking for a flat where Gianni Bartoli, Marco Bartoli's father, was supposed to live long time ago. The house, which has been empty for years, is in Via Caravelli near a small church steeple. There Lara hopes to find a valuable copy of the seraph Marco Bartoli once was after as well. Lara has got a problem: The door to Bartoli's house is locked. She could reach his flat over a nearby masonry, but the entrance to this house doesn't open without electricity. So Lara tries to find the reason for the power failure and soon gets an idea of what has happened. |
