Reviewer's comments
"-t even intended to be finished at all. Even as a test level, it's really poor. P.S.: See my review for the V1 level for the first part of this review, since these 2 levels are very similar, I don't know why it should be counted as 2 distinct levels." - Charles Kane (06-Feb-2021)
"A few scrappy rooms with nothing to do in them that somehow made it onto the TR5 CD. Interestingly, the flames jump when Lara jumps. Now with some sounds, but somehow even more pointless." - Mulf (20-Oct-2019)
"What's the meaning of life? The hardest question to be answered, however I just discovered a question that is harder than the previous: 'WHY ON EARTH DID SOMEONE UPLOAD A NEWEST VERSION OF THIS?'. Wolfy Regards." - Wolf7 (06-Mar-2019)
"Nothing has changed since the V1-version, except there is ingame sound now. Water sounds are still missing though, as the README-file reveals." - Nuri (09-May-2018)
"This is about as pointless as it gets. There's pretty much no difference between this and the first version, so I'd avoid it if I were you." - Ryan (01-Apr-2018)
"What was the purpose when releasing this "second version"? I couldn't find a reason to publish this. Pathetic." - Jose (03-Jan-2018)
"Same as version 1, only with sound. I think anything else changed." - alan (19-Nov-2016)
"Built upon an orphan file in the TRC disk, this actually comes from Core Design's offices. However, don't get too excited as it's pretty much a huge room of nothing. Nice textures though. What's changed? (Some) sounds are now enabled. This is a test level so not really much to see or do here otherwise, pretty much only for the completionists. 09/14" - Treeble (26-Sep-2014)
"Oh look, it's the exact same level as the previous version of this release, only with some actual in-game sound effects and flame triggers added. Still doesn't add anything substantial to the overall experience though." - Ceamonks890 (11-Jul-2014)
"Well, two or three rooms with bad textures and absolutely nothing to do. All has been said about this level." - manarch2 (29-Nov-2010)
"One of the worst levels available to play. It's version 2, but there is nothing better than in version 1, so a player feels like replaying the previous one. Maybe something was fixed... but I didn't notice it. SUMMARY: Reviews of the first version of this game should tell all about the latter. Not recommended at all." - DJ Full (19-Sep-2010)
"Same as the previous version, without ropes. There are not final trigger." - Obig (25-May-2010)
"This is the trouble with revised levels: sometimes they're not that different from the original. I guess this has sound now. Walls and two pools. No real point to it." - dmdibl (27-Dec-2009)
"Have you ever played the "7 differences" game ? Try to find how many there are in this demo versus the first version. It seems to me there was none , but i admit i have never been good at this "7 differences" game." - eRIC (10-Dec-2009)
"Just when you thought it couldn't get any more pointless it comes in a second wrapping, so to say identical to the first one. [irony alert] Keep it up! [/irony alert]" - Selene (25-Oct-2009)
"Nearly the same as the 1st version. The changes are too small, so it isn't worthy to play it." - rtrger (08-Oct-2009)
"What was the point of this?" - Orbit Dream (23-Sep-2009)
"The only difference I could tell from V1, was that this version had Lara's sounds, while in V1 you had to play it in complete silence. I'm also not sure if the fires were there before, but overall the changes are not too dramatic to require you to play both levels if you're merely curious what it's about. If anything - you can again use the alternative scripts and the additional savegame to your advantage to check out the inventory it gives to Lara. The additional sounds can also let you appreciate the difference between a silenced and a regular HK gun, but that's about where the fun ends here." - eTux (22-Sep-2009)
"I'm not quite sure what the point was because if you've seen version 1, you've seen version 2 also." - Jay (21-Sep-2009)
"Just like V1, - other than looking at a nice wall texture and running around a few fairly empty rooms there seems to be literally nothing to see or do here. Ok, you can practice some rope swinging in this version, but that's about it..." - MichaelP (20-Sep-2009)
