Reviewer's comments
"I played this level long ago, but I forgot its name and only now I stumbled upon it, it is, for all intents and purposes, a extremely simple level, it has a nice feel to it and snowy surroundings are rather pleaseant but don't expect much complexity from this short experience, some platforming challenges, the players gets to ride a snowbike, which is novel in its own way, if you want something simple to pass time, give it a shot." - SeniorBlitz (10-Aug-2019)
"This Christmas debut gave us a snowy level where after some climbing and jumping pillars you get to ride the bike. I missed the levers that were hidden behind some trees so I tried to find them a few times and then decided to wait for the walkthrough as they eluded me big time. Oh well… can’t win them all." - Gerty (03-Jul-2018)
"G&P: the gameplay was really simple, and I must admit that I don't like the bike, because it is always blocking into statics collision. As I said, quite simple, I enjoyed the first part the "climb sequence". There are no real puzzles, you only need 2 keys to open 1 door. E,O&S: you have to notice the green crystals to spot the secrets, and you have to go though a wall to find them. There are no enemies; objects are quite nice. A,S&C: Atmosphere is the best part of the level, a snowy road to explore, with nice musics (even if sometimes there are no musics) and good cameras. L&T: I think that the author found a seamless texture and apply it almost everywhere, I think that it would have been better to have different textures in some places, like rock or ice on the walls around the " snowy road", even if it was very simple textures, there were nicely applied. A nice debut level, with no real issues, I think that the builder need to create something more elaborate next time, recommanded !" - Lara_Fox_Croft (01-May-2016)
"Find a bike, get two keys, unlock the prize - even the readme is more complicated than this level, which anyway drags for too long especially if you miss any switch along the eternally curving racetrack (I would like to see the 2D map of this project...). On the other hand, the path has been decorated with admirable persistence of foliage and spectator wildlife." - DJ Full (20-Jan-2016)
"Quite a good work for a debut, albeit a bit short. Some nice column jumping, a swift jaunt on the snowmobile and a hunt for two keys and three secrets completes this nice Advent level." - Ryan (10-Jan-2016)
"This short level has nice environments, but that's all. The climb/jump tasks in the first icy cave are repetitive, and later a long ride with the bike saving some pits and pull two switches to open a couple of doors; no more, it's a poor gameplay; also be sure to get the first key when you find the first door or later you'll have to go all the long way back from the last door when you realize you need two keys. I coudn't find the secrets. The best: the musics and the texturization." - Jose (04-Jan-2016)
"Not bad at all for a debut level. It's extremely pretty, albeit somewhat repetitive, and well put together. Gameplay is minimal, involving a bit of climbing, picking up a couple of keys and zipping around the snowy forest paths on a snowmobile, but it's a peaceful, pleasant experience for the Christmas period." - Jay (28-Dec-2015)
"Another enjoyable - and very suitable - addition to the Advent calendar. This one is very brief at 10 mins and the little gameplay there is even manages to be on the tedious side (climb/shimmy around a few too many pillars and then a little too lenghty snow mobile ride), but where it wins is in the atmosphere category with good flybys, sparsely but well used objects and good audio choices. Worth the quick look - not only in the winter season." - MichaelP (28-Dec-2015)
"Debut for Lore into the world of the editor. Nice little "Frozen" style level (lacked only Elsa and her "Let it Go") with snowmobile, snow and many animals that will appear along the way. A very simple but attention to detail. Objects in theme with the surrounding environment, like the pretty white foxes and wolves. The snowmobile can become jammed in bridges and unfortunately this may unnerve some player. A nice debut, too bad it's short but it is also suitable for children." - Talos (27-Dec-2015)
"Nice start! Worth admiring the atmosphere and soft color tones. Some of the ice crystal objects and animals were a nice addition. The snowmobile ride could have been better planned to be more exciting though. This level works more as a test, all triggers work accordingly and there's no glitch so I think the author can work on something more expanded next time. Will look out for LoreRaider's future creations!" - young Lara Croft (25-Dec-2015)
"This games encompasses the phrase "leave no stone upturned"...or something like that. The game starts with a nice display of acrobatics on Lara's part but then becomes a treasure hunt for keys and switches in order to get those keys. Texturing is somewhat applied fluently but you can tell bigger areas are wallpapered. Overall, a nice and short raid and another seasonal level to kick off Christmas!" - Larabiker301 (23-Dec-2015)
"A bright and snowy little level, where zipping along on the Snowmobile is the order of the day.The gameplay is fine at the very start, with some climbing acrobatics - but it quickly settles itself into a speedy hunt for two keys;a couple of big jumps;and the search for some secrets. Texturing is fine,as is the interesting object placement;and it provides twenty harmless but fast-moving minutes." - Orbit Dream (22-Dec-2015)
"Always nice to see a debut level and this is certainly a lot better than many other first ones. The atmosphere actually spreads a nice feeling of coldth (though the visuals are fairly monotonous), there are some nice trys on cameras - while the action sound on the snowmobile was a bit too much if you ask me -, the object placement is decent and the three secrets, while all hidden the same way, are a good extra challenge. The gameplay would've been some better if the passages that have to be covered with the snowmobile had been cut down to least the half - they are just too long to be enjoyable, and the quest for two medium-hard to find levers can be even more tedious if you have to backtrack for the first one. At least there are a few decent ladder jumps at the start and two nice usage of nitro for the snowmobile. Save for the tedious parts a good enough first try that took me 8 minutes to finish." - manarch2 (22-Dec-2015)
"The gameplay in the opening area was fun and enthusiastic, then you hop on the snowmobile and it all goes downhill. Maybe if the path wasn't so straightforward and long it would've been better. Anyway, I have to say that the lighting and texturing are amazing, it gives the game, mostly the first room, a magical and unique atmosphere but when you climb up it gets kinda repetitive. I think the builder can do much better so I'm waiting to see his next release." - misho98 (22-Dec-2015)
"A fun little raid here from LoreRaider. Unusual choice of objects in places but what you get is a snowy fun bright level. I suspect that most people will miss the switch for the first key (like I did) entirely and wind up back tracking on the snowmobile to retrieve it. All in all I netted just under 15 mins. Enjoyable. Stiggy" - TheStig (22-Dec-2015)
"Not bad for a first level but most of the Level was following a long path on a Snowmobile while you Search for 2 keys, this was pretty much the whole level but it was still enjoyable" - JoeTheCrazyGamer (21-Dec-2015)
"I suppose I should damn this level with faint praise by pointing out that it's probably a lot better than anything I could have done. That being said, there's not a whole lot going on here. After a promising opening room, you come to the snowmobile, where it all starts becoming quite tedious for the five minutes or so that you have left. You do need the feeder to jump a gap, but then all you need to do is find a couple of not-so-well hidden switches near the two closed doors, grab your keys and finish up at the end of the ride. If pressed for positives, I would say that the lighting is good. If there were any secrets here, I didn't bother to stop and look for them. Another one whose chief attribute is to pad your review count." - Phil (21-Dec-2015)
