Xmas Race
You start on a
racetrack. Pick up the Cabio Key but do not get into the car yet. Go west
through an opening in the fence and dive into the water. Swim south and into
the south-west corner to get secret #1
and a Ice-Rose. Surface to pull up to the east side. Go to the south-east
corner and see a tree covered with snow. Crouch beside it and pick up the crowbar.
Return back to the entrance and enter the racetrack and go back to the car. Drive
through the racetrack and try not to hit the wall. If possible, cut the corners
sharply and do not go wide. When you make it through the gate the next level
loads. I found this to be the hardest timed run. The later timed runs seem
easier to do.
Xmas Race 2
Drive to the end,
trigger two snowballs that slow you down and miss the gate. There is a cage on
the route that did not open. Then drive back to the start and drive through a
gate in the south-east onto an ice field. It may look closed but just drive
over the fire and into the gate. Get out of the car and go to the middle of the
fires for a small medipack. Go to the south-east corner near the fence corner
for secret #2 and an Ice-Rose. Start
from the ice field for the next try, as it seems to help. You can drive through
the snowballs on the racetrack and they do not slow you down as they did on the
first try. When you make it through the gate the next level loads.
Xmas Race 3
Get out of the car and
look for a triangular opening in the north-east corner behind the car. Follow
the crawl space that is tight in a corner and emerge into a graveyard. Go to
the south-east and circle around to the back of the church to find four open
unused graves. Enter one of them for secret #3
and an Ice-Rose. Go back through the crawl space and return to the car. Leave
the car there for a while and run down the racetrack. When you see spikes
popping up go east through an open section of fence. Go to the north-east
corner of the frozen pond and fall into the water. Swim to the south-west
corner to pick up secret #4 and an
Ice-Rose. Get out of the water and return to the car. If takes a few tries to
get the delay correct, but you want to start so that the spikes are down when
you drive other them. When you make it through the gate the next level loads.
Xmas Race 4
Get out of the car and
stand behind it on the west side. You should see a wooden walkway to the west. Face
north and do a left side flip to get over the fence and onto the walkway. Follow
the walkway to a building and open the door. Enter a room with a large
fireplace and get secret #5 and an
Ice-Rose from the floor. Exit and follow the walkway back and jump over the
fence. Leave the car there and run down the racetrack. You eventually come to a
wooden fence in front of a yellow house on the right side. Use the crowbar to
open the south-east section of the fence. Go south and open the door of the
house. Crouch under the east table to get secret
#6 and an Ice-Rose. Exit and go back to the car and drive down the
racetrack. When you make it through the gate the next level loads.
Xmas Race 5
Get out of the car and
walk forward to the third Final Fantasy wall tile on the left just in front of
a dead tree. Side flip over the sign and you are over the fence. Go to the
middle of the trees in the north-west and get secret
#7 and an Ice-Rose. Side flip back to the racetrack. Forget about
the car this time and run down the racetrack. Watch out for falling icicles. Just
before the closed gate, climb a block to the west. You get a cut scene of Lara
picking up something and the next level loads.
Xmas Race 5 (Revised)
Pick up the scroll on
the ground and examine it.
"Choose your
road
continue right an
another lap by moto...
there might wait another
2 secrets to be revealed...
continue left to exit
the game..."
The car has been
replaced by a motorcycle. If you try to return to the north the level ends as
stated in the scroll. Go towards the motorcycle and the next level loads.
Xmas Race (Revised)
Get on the motorcycle
and drive to the end and the next level loads. There are no gates or timed runs
for the remaining levels.
Xmas Race 2 (Revised)
Drive down the racetrack
and notice that the cage is down. Drive into the hole and stop in a large room.
Get off the motorcycle and look to the upper south-west corner for a crawl
space. Get into the crawl space and follow it to the end. Get secret #8 and an Ice-Rose. Get back out and back
onto the motorcycle. Continue out the tunnel and through the checkpoint and the
next level loads.
Xmas Race 3 (Revised)
Drive down the racetrack
to the end and the next level loads.
Xmas Race 4 (Revised)
Drive down the racetrack
and notice that a large gate is open on the left side. Enter and go down the
ramp. At the bottom of the ramp get off the motorcycle and climb a block just
south of the entrance. Get secret #9
and an Ice-Rose. Get on the motorcycle and drive out the other ramp. Turn left onto
the racetrack and the next level loads.
Xmas Race 5 (Revised)
Drive down the racetrack
to the end and the game ends when you cross the EXIT sign on the ground.
