Trail of the Unknown- The Temple (Demo)

Notes from the builder himself: This was an idea I had for the first level of the game, but that soon changed as you will see in my second demo of the game. I wanted people to know that I had started a huge project. And I will explain more about the changes I made, including a patched tomb4.exe in the walkthrough for Trail of the Unknown: The Lost Temple (Demo) walkthrough.

 

  A fly-by starts off the level. It will show you where to go and what to do. Pick up the blue shotgun shells from the first pillar. Then pick up the crossbow ammo and the medpack. Go use the switch. Then go through the door.

   The other door will open for you. In the upper right left hand corner is the Hand of Sirius. And on the right side of the room is some ammo for Uzi. There is also a switch, use it. The doors open; enter. Go into the room to the right, a ninja will come out; kill him. Pick up the crossbow he drops. Use the Sirius Hand to open up a door in a passage leading down. Get out and go and follow the passage. Kill the two ninjas. The passage to the right closed for now. Go to the right or left and use the switch, and pick up the Hand of Orion. Save. The two doors that you opened with the switch are now open and go up the ramp, then run back and go left or right to be safe. Then go up the ramp and kill the ninja.

    If you look down you will see that there is a grass area, you can go pick up the flares if you want but they’re useless. Use the Orion hand in its place, the spikes at the artifact go down.  Monkey swing across and pick up the Ba Cartouche and go back. Now go back to the passage where you saw the closed door. It’s now open.

    When you round the corner, kill the scorpion and the ninja. And you will hear doors closing. Go into the left passage and pick up the Eyepiece 1 and then roll and run straight forward and use the Ba Cartouche and the spikes stop. Pick up the Eye Piece 2, the door over by where you placed the cartouche is now open go through and you will jump in the same level. Note: I have no idea why I did that. Shoot the vase to the right, and pull the pushable three squares down. There is a medpack in the small water passage, but you will not need it. Do a standing jump and grab to the ladder and climb up. Run down the passage and the door will open for you, nice uh? Go over to the next passage and jump up and crawl through and get down. Roll and crawl until you can stand up. Climb out to the right and run towards the jeep. The level ends.

 

Note: And I didn’t forget to output it with the sky file, I wanted it to feel like it was night.
