The Raiders 1 & 2

(1) The Raiders

Start by killing two bats and pick up a small medipack from the water. Go to the north-east corner and climb a ladder. Take the hits and go through the spikes. The gate opens before you so pick up the flares and drop into the water. Swim to the end and pull up into a tunnel. Kill two bats and enter the next room. Kill another bat and pick up crossbow poison ammo, blue shotgun shells and Uzi ammo from the ledge.  Step on the yellow tile in the north-east corner and the fire at the floor lever goes out. Use the floor lever and kill the two dogs in the lava. Jump and grab the ladder at the west wall. Climb up into a tunnel and the gate ahead of you opens. In the next room, follow the platform and pick up an Eye Piece. Jump into the clear water in the middle of the lava. Follow the underwater tunnel and pull up. Kill a dog and two bats. Shoot a vase and pick up a small medipack. Go to the south-west corner and climb the pillar to the top. Pick up grenade flash ammo and shoot an empty vase. Jump to the south side and use the floor lever. Get into the tunnel there for Uzi ammo, crossbow explosive ammo, large medipack, and a laser sight. Get down and dive into the water. Notice that a wall has dropped so swim west and pull up into a tunnel. Follow the tunnel to a mirror room and pick up the second Eye Piece in the north-west corner. The mirror image is strange as the mirror Lars will enter the room and walk through you.

Go back east into the tunnel and see that a block has dropped. Drop into the tunnel and head north. Pull up into a room and kill a Yeti (the author calls it a Yeti). Pick up a large medipack, grenade super ammo and the revolver from the three pedestals. Dive into the water to find the Guardian Key on the floor. Pull the underwater lever and the spikes and fire disappear from the bottom of a ladder. Get out and climb the ladder on the south wall. Shimmy to the west and drop ro a ledge. Pull back the statue to the black circle. Jump behind it and follow the ledges to the east side of the room. The flame is out at the floor lever to the south so use it. Return to to the north end of the ledge and use the Guardian Key. The block in the water drops down. Dive into the water and pull the new underwater lever. Get out and climb the south ladder to the top. Run down the tunnel as the gate drops behind you. The gate ahead opens up as you approach. Kill a Yeti, a dog and a bat. Pick up the Amulet of Horus and the gate to the south opens. As you approach the switches, two mummies arise so just run to the south tunnel. Run to the ladder at the back and the level ends.

(2) The Raiders 2 - The Tomb of Hourse

You have to select new game, as the levels do not connect. Start in a small room so go forward and dive into water. Go to the end and pull an underwater lever. Swim back and the wall to the north has dropped.  Follow the corridor and pick up blue shotgun shells. Continue and use a floor lever and the area instantly floods. Swim back and pull another underwater lever on a north wall. This removes the spikes from the north ledge. Pull up on the north ledge and a gate opens. Go inside and wait for a bat to fly down to you. Kill the bat and climb a ladder. At the top kill a dog and two Yetis. Pick up revolver ammo and two Uzi ammo from the floor. Use the floor lever and then kill a dog and a bat. Get down the ladder and go north through the open door into a new room. Kill a bat and two Yetis. Notice a movable statue against the east wall. Put it into the north-west corner where the floor grate is different. You get a cut scene of spikes going down. Go to the west side and pull up to the second level and kill a dog. Climb the south ladder and use a floor lever. Get down and use the floor lever now that the fire is out and hear a gate opening. Climb the north ladder and enter the room to kill a dog and a Yeti. Dive in the water and pull the north and south underwater levers. The east underwater lever is a spike trap.

Climb the ladder at the north wall and pull up through a solid looking ceiling. Go north and in a left alcove pick up a small and large medipack. Useful since I had none left from fighting Yetis in enclosed areas. In a right alcove pick up the revolver. Dive into the water and pull an underwater lever and a wall drops. Continue and in the next area pull three underwater levers. Continue swimming and find three more dropped walls. Pull up to tunnel and follow to a room with a burning pedestal. The vases are empty. Go to the south-east corner and get into the crawl space to find a Guardian Key. Return and when the fire at the pedestal is down steal the Amulet of Horus and a gate opens in an east tunnel. First go back into the water and swim back to the three switches. Pull up to the east ledge and jump to the north ledge. Follow the corridor and go up some stairs to get the Ra Cartouche from a pedestal. Had you come here earlier, the stairs would have set you on fire. Return to the other room and follow the east tunnel.

At the end pull up into a room and go to the water in the north-east corner. Dive in and pull the underwater lever. This raises a block in the water and removes spike from a receptacle at the south wall. Get out and go south to use the Ra Cartouche and a block drops in the dark south-east corner. Go there and pick up a laser sight as an earthquake starts. Exit and a block has dropped at the north wall. Go there and use the floor lever and the fires at the south wall stop. Go there and use the Guardian Key to open the gate in the east tunnel. Hop over the blue floor pieces and enter the east tunnel. When you enter the room at the end of the east tunnel, the annoying earthquake stops. Hop onto the central block and a gate opens in a south tunnel. Hop down and enter the south tunnel and the level ends.
