After sliding down, start going to the left. Pick up the medipack, and in front of it you can notice an entrance that
leads to a room with gratings and levers. This will be the final aim, to raise
all of the five gratings and to push all of the five levers and so to fill the
pool with water.
But until that we'll have many adventures. :) So jump to the pipes
outside that block the canal. You can't jump over them, but under them you can crawl
to the other side. Jump into the water and swim. Swim to the right, then, at
the next corner, again to the right. Till now it is simple and definite. In the
meantime you can kill a stucked crocodile
too. But be attentive after the second turn! To the left, behind the pipes, you
can find a crack. Swim into it, and in the first small room you will reach a
junction. First, swim to the right. Now you have to face the first challenge.
There are many pipes in the room, near the floor and the ceiling. You have to
get across them, but within a short time, because this is a timed event. You
have to pull the lever on your left, then hurry! :) If you succeeded, now you
are in a large room filled with water. If you run out of air, here you can take
a deep breath, but quickly, because some crocodiles
are waiting for you. Try to swim into the tunnel to the left as fast as you
can, and there you can finally climb out of the water. At the end of the
passage, jump over the railing, grab the pillar and climb up. Kill all
crocodiles at last. Runjump, so that you can grab the edge of
the sloped pillar. Shimmy completely to the right, climb up, and now you
have to grab the edge of the next sloped pillar. This you can do if you press
<Action> only in the last moment. Pull up, slide down, jump at the end
and grab the ladder on the pillar in front of you. Shimmy to the right, around
the corner, then from the 5th stave perform a jump with a twist in the air
(+END) and grab the lower pillar. Pull up, then monkeyswing on the ceiling
across the room. About halfway, turn your face to the wall and after releasing
the ladder above for a moment, quickly grab the one on the wall. Of course, you
can also make it by falling down onto the slope and jumping to the ladder from
there. Shimmy to the right and climb up to the small balcony.
If you look round, you can see a button, a door that can be opened, and
to the right another door that is still closed. There you can find a secret
later. Push the button, open the door and step in. Careful! After two steps you
will meet a sated, nasty, big rat. Well, after all it can grow so huge in the
sewers... :) But with a jump backward you can kill it even without a single
scratch. After that, go in and pull the block out of the wall and pick up the crowbar that was laying behind it.
Go out of the small room, head to the right and pull up into the gap in the
wall. You will slide down. Kill the bats
and pick up the medipack, then go back
a little bit and push in the first block.
Well, you have to be perceptive here. I won't tell you how to push the blocks, you will find it out on your own. You better
concentrate on the left side first. Push the blocks until you will get to a
crevice in the wall at about breast-height. Draw your pistols and shoot
straight through it. You have to hit a blue ball. These open
secrets on the level. Use the binoculars to check whether you could hit
it or not. If you succeeded, go and push the blocks again until you find the
exit with the shotgun.
Drop into the water, get to the ladder on the ceiling again and
monkeyswing completely to the other side, to the opened door in front of you,
where the small control room is. Shoot the gunman,
then the switch-box that covers a switch. Pull it, so that you can open the 2nd Pump Door. Again, get up onto the small balcony: from the
entrance of the control room you can grab the ladder on the ceiling. The door
to the right is open now; inside you can pick up shotgun
ammo - the first secret. Jump into the
water, but before leaving the room, left from the exit you can pick up a medipack. Head back to the junction from where you came, and
now swim to the other direction, straight ahead. After getting out of the
water, jump over the pipes, kill the bats
and climb the ladder. First, of course, look up, because there are two
passages. In the lower you can get some flairs, in the higher you reach a small corridor.
After prying the door open on your right, you will meet another huge rat, but you can also find a medipack in
this small room. At the end of the corridor, slide down the slope, but be
careful, because you have to jump to a ladder in the dark and climb up to the
top. After a backjump you get to another control room. After prying the door
open, kill the gunman. Shoot the
switch-box here as well, and pull the switch to open the 1st Pump Door. Head back to the ladder, climb then slide down and
you will get back to the canal. Go to the left, and where the canal ends, on
the right wall you can notice a crawlspace in the wall. Climb in, shoot the barricade and monkeyswing through the fiery
room. Open the door of the toilet, and pick up the Red
Key that remains on the floor after killing the rat.
The beast has gobbled it up. :) Follow the passage outside and open a trapdoor.
Climb down the ladder, but watch out, because there are moving lasers guarding
the passage below. When the lasers move on, head to the right first, and in the
dark, crawl through the hole. Climb up into the alcove on your
the left and you have to shoot another blue ball through the small
crevice. You can use the binoculars to check whether you succeeded or not. This
opened the door to the next secret. Go back to the lasers, climb the ladder,
and when the lasers has gone, run to the other
direction. At the end of the passage you can pick up a medipack in
the dark; this is the second secret. Now go, crawl
through the hole to on your left, pry the door open, kill the gunman and use the switch that is covered by the switch-box
to open the 4th Pump Door.
Take a long way to get back to the canal, and go round completely to the
other side of the wall. You'll meet a crocodile on
your way. After killing it, open the door using your Red Key. Go downstairs and
in the next control room, after eliminating another gunman,
you can shatter another switch-box and pull another switch in order to open the
5th Pump Door.
Back to the canal, and to the beginning of the level, where you picked
up the first medipack. The rest of the gratings is
already raised, but the 3rd is still down. Look round carefully. In front of
the 4th grating, at the pipes, look up. You will find a ladder there. Climb up,
and notice the closed door in the passage, because soon you have to hurry here
in a timed run. Go to the right, climb up and slide down to the button on the
wall. You better save your game at this point, because a not-at-all easy run
comes next.
Push the button, turn to the right, pull up into the passage and sprint
to the other side as fast as you can. No time to climb up, just jump onto the
sloped part and keep jumping also on that, so that you can get down to the
canal faster. Careful! Don't fall into the water, because you are slower when
swimming. Turn left, run and jump over to the other side, then again back to
this side and through the door. Hurry to the ladder, climb up and sprint
through the slowly closing door. Kill the gunman
there and after shooting the box you can finally open the 3rd Pump Door too.
Go down now, and push all 5 levers. You could finish the level right
here, but in that case you would miss the last secret. So climb the ladder at
the pipes again, and at the button on the wall head to the other direction.
Before dropping into the pool, you can find a dark crawlspace on the other
side. There's no need to jump over there; you can blast the blue ball from
where you are standing. Now you can drop into the water. The door in front of
you is open, and you can pick up a medipack
behind it - the third secret. Swim to the
other side of the pool, pry the door open, pick up the flairs,
and as you walk through the passage, this great adventure comes to its end.
