You start the game in front of the gate you can remember from the previous part (or cannot, if you didn't play it). Turn around and open the door just for fun. Now explore the large room you're in and find two marked squares in its corners. There are two holes very, very high above them. The poles Lara needs to climb to get up there are hidden in nearly total darkness, so they are quite invisible. (Congratulations for Treeble he or she managed to find this element. I didn't see it until I spotted the hole in the ceiling, which, I must confess, I noticed by the coincidence, only because I used DOZY.) The hole on the left of the place you started the game from contains a small medikit and a laser sight. From the other hole you can get a key. Safety drop from both of the holes, as you can't grab the pole up there. Get closer to the gate and fall through the floor into the water. Swim down, pick up a small medikit, some flares and revolver ammo. Above the last mentioned item, there is a hole. Swim up there, resurface and get out of the water. You are in one of these invisible burning floor locations you already know (or not) from the previous part. Anyway, it kills you, so climb the stairs and do some sliding and jumping to land in the other part of the room without touching the floor. Here, you can see a pit with a keyhole in it. Place the key you collected in the beginning there. Get out of the pit and advance to the end of the room to find a strange set of floating butts forming a vertical line. One of the reviewers (Kristina) named this object a "butt pole". I think this neologism should remain in the official language of beginner levelbuilders, and I hope it will, written as one word - "buttpole", just like "rollingball" or "jumpswitch". So, climb the buttpole... man, this sounds great... turn around and backflip to land on a height. Go through the raised door. You can think it was opened with the key used in the pit, but it actually wasn't. Jump into the pool to pick up some revolver bullets from the bottom. Swim to the side of the pool opposite to that you entered it from, get out of the water, find a door, push it and collect the revolver from behind it. You can return to the other side of the pool to find a locked door. It may seem you can't open it, but there is an unmarked trigger on the floor, placed exactly between 3rd and 4th lamp (counting from the pool). (I hate such triggers, I used Fexinspect to find it, but I have no regrets as long as this was the author's fault, not mine). Go through the open door, climb around the ladder and land on the square next to the buttpole to open the door on the other side of the room. Again, the floor is deadly here, so do some platforming, sliding and jumping to reach the door. You can pick up Venus Symbol from there. Open the two doors (or only one of them) and go through them (or one of them as well). In the room nearly identical with the previous one, collect Mercury Stone and open another door (only one this time). Get to the gate in the next room and open it to find yourself in the last corridor. Proceed through it and either safety drop to one of the side shelves, or slide down. If you choose the shelf route, getting to the other side of the room is not enough to finish the level and you need to drop yourself to the lower part of the room to end it.
