You
start behind an ice wall. To the east is a gate. Go to the east wall and see a triangular crawl space. If you go to the end of that passage you attract the attention of two dogs. However, they are stuck behind a wall and are harmless. Stand on the high mound at the triangular opening corner and grab the ceiling. Monkey swing to the west and over the ice block that is actually a big spike trap. Drop on the other side and go west. Turn to the right into an alcove and press the wall button. You get a long flyby of everyplace in the level. The flyby ends with an open gate and Lara. Go west to the high mound in the corner. Jump up to grab the ceiling. Monkey swing back over the spike trap and go out the gate into the outdoors area.

 

To the north is a brown building. Go around to the north side of that building and open the door. Hop onto a box and pick up a small medipack. Exit the building and go north. You will find a clock tower. North of the clock tower you see a white building with a blue door and a key lock. Go to the north-east and follow the outside walls of the gray brick building. You pass a garage with two cars and a snowmobile. Continue around the corner of the building and shoot a dog. Go south and jump a small fence and shoot a dog. Look at the west wall and see two windows. Shoot the left window with the flowers inside it.

 

Jump through the window and into a small dining room. To the north is a kitchen for later. There is a closed door in the north corner. Open the door in the dining room west wall and enter a living room with a TV. There is a closed door to the north. Open the door in the south wall. Enter the washroom and press the wall button on the east wall. Go north back to the living room. Go to the open door in the north corner. Enter the bedroom and pick up flares next to the bed. That is all you can do here for now. You will return back here to the kitchen later. Exit the building and go south. There was a dog stuck behind a tree but I could not shoot it.

 

Go west and north back to the clock tower. Now go west pass a purple brick building and notice a door and a key lock. Turn to the south and see a large woodpile. Climb over that woodpile and into the crawl space of the woodpile behind it. Crawl east and drop into a hole. Pick up a Key #1 (called load) and exit back outside the woodpiles. Go south into an area with a purple wall and shoot two dogs. Follow the wall to climb a woodpile and save the game. Jump north to the flat roof of the purple building. If you slide down the side, you get onto an illegal slope and need to reload. Go west to a brown roof and jump north to a roof where you can see a trap door. First go west and drop down between two fences to pick up a large medipack. Return to the roof with the trap door. Pull open the trap door and drop inside the building. Go north and pick up flares, Uzi ammo, small medipack, Uzi's and Uzi ammo. Shoot the shelves that are to the left of the door to open the door. Exit and loop around to the right and go south to the locked door in the purple brick building. Use the key to open the door.

 

Enter the small hallway and open another door. You enter a large kitchen. Notice the refrigerator with a picture if a cat on it. Open the door to the right of the refrigerator. You enter a library type room. Go to the north-east corner and pull down a wall switch. The door opens in the south wall. Enter the room and pick up a red apple off the floor. You get a cut scene of a pedestal in the kitchen of the previous building. You can go west into a washroom but I found nothing there. Exit this building and shoot a dog.

 

Return to the previous building and enter by the window again. Go to the kitchen and see the pedestal at the west wall. I could only place the apple from the wall side of the pedestal. It would not work from the room side. Place the apple and the door opens in the north corner. Enter the small room and open another door. Go to the end of the room. Hop onto the ledge and pick up Key #2. Exit this building and return back to the clock tower area.

 

Go north and use the key to open the blue door in the white building. Enter the room and the fire starts. You can open the door in the west hallway. But it only leads into an empty washroom. Pull back the small shiny cabinet near the east wall by one tile. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Notice a closed door under the wall clock in the south-west corner. Exit this building and go to the clock tower area. Go west and down the ramp to the cellar of the purple building. You may have to shoot a dog near the entrance at the top of the steps.

 

Enter the room and go south and down an east corridor. A gate opens for you as you approach. Do not enter yet but pull down a jump switch on the wall to the west of the open gate. You get a cut scene of a trap door opening. You can enter the open gate and see a generator room with a closed gate. Exit this cellar area and return outside to the clock tower area. Go south back to where you entered the first gate. Turn to the west and see the trap door in front of a snow-covered tree.

 

Climb down the ladder down into the hole. Pick up a small medipack and get a cut scene of a map. I think that it is a map of this room. I did not need it. The brown square to the north is a fire trap. Step off the platform and big spikes pop up in the corner. Go east and pull down a wall switch behind the entrance ladder. A gate opens in the north-east corner behind the big spikes. Sprint through the spikes to reduce damage. Light a flare and enter the west tunnel. There is a deep hole in front of you. Shimmy around the hole and follow the tunnel to a generator room that you saw in the cellar of the purple building. Hop onto the cabinet and pick up a Key #3. The gate does not open so return back through the tunnel and the spikes. Climb the ladder to get outside and return to the clock tower.

 

From the clock tower go to the north-west and see a building with double doors and a wall torch beside it. Go west and see a building with a blue door. South of that door is a building with a closed door and a key lock. Use the key to open the door. Enter the door and walk into a kitchen. Loop around to the right and open a door. Enter the washroom and use the floor lever. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Notice another closed door in the south wall of the kitchen. Exit this building and go east and south towards the large woodpile of the purple building. Shoot a dog that sneaks up behind you. Go to the south-west to a dark brown building to find the open door.

 

Enter the building and shoot the upper north wall to break the wall. Jump into the alcove and save the game in front of a timed switch. Press the wall button. You get a cut scene of a door opening under a wall clock. Exit the building and go north-east to enter the white building. Go into the room behind the open door. Jump into the north-west corner alcove and pick up a Cross. Now quickly leave this room. If you wait too long, the door closes and you are stuck inside.

 

Exit this building and go to the left and north. Shoot a snowman for a large medipack. Then continue east and pass the garage again. Go to the east wall and turn south to find the cross receptacle on the side of the building. Look north to see a gate for later. The white trees make it hard to pass. Place the Cross and you hear a gate open. Go north and loop to the left to enter the open gate of a church type area. Go around the back of the gate to get and pull down the wall switch. You get a cut scene of the blue door opening. Exit this church and go west back to the blue door.

 

Enter the building and go to the Mona Lisa picture to pick up a record (pre CD era) off the floor. You get a cut scene of the record player. Exit this building and return to the south building. Go into the kitchen and go to the south-west corner for the record player. Place the record and the door opens next to you. Enter the room and pick up a torch (match) off the floor. Exit this building and go east to return to the white building. Enter the white building and stand in the fireplace to carefully light the torch.

 

Exit the white building and go west and then north-west to the barn with the double doors. Drop the torch to shoot a dog. Then use the torch to light the wall torch and the double doors open. Actually you could push them open but you need the torch for other things as well. Enter the building and go north and see a bright block of hay in the right wall. Pull the hay block and move it south and west to the inside corner of the large hay pile at the west wall. When in the correct location a gate opens in the north part of the barn. Take the torch and go there.

 

Light the five wall torches and the door opens in the south-east stable. Enter that stable and jump the stable walls to the north. From the last wall, jump to grab the edge of the ceiling above you. Pull up into the attic area. Go south between the hay blocks and the sloped roof to find a wall switch. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of a gate opening and a long flyby back to Lara. Return to the ceiling hole. You can go west and push hay blocks but I found nothing there. Exit the barn and go east back towards the church area.

 

In the north-east corner you will find the open gate. Enter the ice cave and drop into the hole in the north-east corner. The south tunnel is a dead-end. Go west and enter the last tunnel to the south. Go to the south-west and jump backwards into the hole. Slide down and jump over a big spike trap. Just follow the tunnel and slide down a slope. Jump over another big spike trap. Follow the tunnel to a crawl space. The dark tile is safe. Get inside and pull up onto an ice block to the west. You are in a room with many ice slopes.

 

Save a lot in this room, as there are many illegal slopes. Get onto the higher ice block behind you to your right. Jump west to grab the top of a slope. Shimmy to the far left side. Pull up, slid down and jump to grab the ice column to the west and pull up. Jump down to the north-east onto the brown illegal slope and bounce forward to grab the ice slope to the east. Shimmy to the left and pull up, back flip, roll, and grab the ice slope to the west. Shimmy to the right, pull up, back flip, roll, and grab the ice column. Pull up and you can see the final exit to the north-west. Jump onto the north ice column and then jump down in front of the doorway.

 

The doorway is not very high so you have to crawl into the next cave. Pull up to the top of the ice column near the entrance. Run and jump to the west to grab the edge of the sloped wall and not the crevice under it. Shimmy to the left and around a corner to pull up onto a ledge. Climb the steps in the tunnel and slide down into water. Swim north and loop around to right. Swim through the triangular hole you see to the south-east. Just follow that tunnel and you come to a place where you can pull up into a brown cave. Follow the cave around until you see a yellow-green wall to the left. Climb the second wall section above the water. Near the top, back flip, roll, and grab another wall. Climb up and shimmy to the right and onto a column. Go east and turn left into a triangular crawl space.

 

Follow the crawl space and then a tunnel to another crawl space. When you reach a pit, turn around and grab the edge. Release and pull down a jump switch as you fall into the water below. You hear a gate open. Pull up from the water and follow the same climbing wall route back to that pit. Jump over the pit and drop down to the open gate. Do not cross the bridge. Go to the west and cross the west bridge. Enter the tunnel and the gate opens. Pick up a crowbar (sword) and run back over the east bridge back to the open gate. Go west to a block. Grab the block and shimmy around the corner and into an alcove. Use the crowbar on the broken floor lever. Shimmy around the block again and go east to exit through the newly opened gate.

 

Go east and follow the tunnel to push in a white snow block. Push it as far as possible and get a cut scene of a trap door dropping back near the cave entrance. To the north is a large ice cave but I round nothing there. Return to the entrance and drop into the trap door. You are in a cave with a water pool. Dive into the water and swim into a tunnel in the south-east corner. Swim to the end and pull down an underwater lever. Get some air and swim into the tunnel in the south-west corner. Follow the tunnel and pull up into a dark blue room. Go to the south-east corner and enter another tunnel. To the right side, you can see the room you left. Go into the east wall alcove and the level ends.
