You start by sliding down a slope with three fires ahead
of you. Jump over the first one with a left curve so you land against the left
wall. Hold jump to get over the next two fires. Jump over a hole and land on a
ledge. Run to the back wall corner to avoid a spike ball that falls behind you
into the hole. Go to the south edge and take one step to the north. Hop back
and use grab and you glide over the pit with the spike ball and land on the
floor. If you fall into the pit you are stuck and need to reload. Run forward
and pull down a jump switch on the north wall. Then go to the north-west corner
to enter a small room with an open door.
Enter the next room and loop around to the right.
Pull down the jump switch on the south wall. Turn around and enter the open
door in the east wall. Go forward and see a slope and some deadly tiles marked
with a white X. Side jump onto the slope and bounce forward to grab the north
ledge. Pull up and jump south over the slope into a trench. Go east and get secret #1 and a compass.
Pull up to the slope and slide down and jump back to the north ledge. Turn to
your left and pull down the jump switch on the west wall. Jump over the deadly
floor and enter the open door in the east wall. Save the game before stepping
on the white floor tile. The white tile opens a timed door at the end of a long
and twisting corridor designed to slow you down. You cannot jump or sprint. If
you hit a wall, you will not make the door. Once you do make it through the
door, the door closes behind you.
Follow the corridor to the south. Near the middle,
turn around and shoot the ninja that is shooting
you in the back. Return north and pick up a small medipack as the dead body disappears. Return south
and save the game in front of a long slope. Look west down the slope and you
can see some holes with a white X. Some holes are deadly. Jump onto the slope
and slide down. Do not use jump and you will safely
skip over the first two holes. You will drop into the third hole for secret #2 and a compass.
Pull up and slide down. Now you have the jump the holes and finally slide into
a room. There is a closed door in the west wall ahead of you.
Loop around to the left and enter the room to the
south-east. You see a closed gate in the east wall. Go west into another room
and drop into the water hole in the north-west corner. Swim west and see two
branch underwater tunnels in the left wall. Take the first branch underwater
tunnel and follow it to the end. Pull up onto the south ledge and into a room.
Jump over the deadly blue floor and onto the white tile. Stand there and wait
while a door opens in the south-east corner. It is not timed. Enter the door
and follow the corridor to another room. Go to the north-west corner and pull up
into an upper tunnel. Go north and use the floor lever. Return to the room and
enter the open door in the south-east corner. Go east a little and pick up Cartouche Piece 2 from the floor. Return back to the
water hole and be careful on the deadly blue floor.
Swim back to the main underwater tunnel and swim
west and into the second branch underwater tunnel. Follow it to the end and pull up into a room.
Go to the south-east corner and pull down a jump switch on the east wall. Turn
and go to the west as the door opens. Enter and follow the tunnel. Pull up onto
some steps. Walk to the north and you stop. Ahead is a deep pit that is hidden
by the floor. Look at the ceiling and see some lighter blue ceiling tiles. They
indicate the safe places to jump. Face north and just stand jump with grab. You
fall through the floor and land in a platform for secret
#3 and a compass. Turn to the west and
pull up onto the column. Stand jump to the north-east onto another safe column.
Run and jump to the north onto a safe floor area. Use a flare to find and pick up Cartouche Piece 1 from the dark floor. Return south
over the safe columns and back to door. Follow the steps and tunnel back to the
water hole. Swim east back to the earlier room. Go east and loop around to the
left to enter the room with the closed door.
Go to the north-east corner and follow the path to
a room with a receptacle. Make the Ba Cartouche and
place in the receptacle. The gate in the east wall beside you is still closed.
Follow the path back to the room where you entered. The door in the west wall
is open. Follow the corridor to a room and the camera view changes. Jump over
the deadly tile with the white X. Then jump north-east onto a black tile
between two deadly tiles. You hear a door open. Follow only the black tiles
around the room to reach the open door. If you step on a gray tile, you hear
the door close. I do not think that the door was timed. Enter the door and just
follow the corridor to a room with fires and a motorcycle.
Get up the motorcycle and drive to the south wall.
Back up the motorcycle into the west corridor from where you entered the room.
Try not to hit the wall to slow you down as you drive up the ramp at the east
wall. Jump over a water pool as two sentry guns shoot at you. Jump over another
water pool and turn left around a corner. Stop before another water pool. If
you catch fire, it is unlikely that you make it into the water before you die.
Dive into the water hole in the north wall. Follow
the underwater tunnel and you can find a place to get air. Continue swiming into the south underwater tunnel. Swim past a
closed gate and pull up into a room. Notice a hole in the ceiling that you
cannot reach. Go to the south-west corner and follow the corridor. The gate
opens as you approach it. You enter the room with the receptacle. Follow the
path back to the room with the open door in the east wall. Go to the south-east
room again and enter the open gate in the east wall.
Follow the corridor to a room with six jump
switches and a closed door. Go to the south wall and pull down all three jump
switches. You hear doors open. Go to the north wall and only pull down the
middle jump switch. You hear another door open. The two other jump switches are
falling spike ball traps as indicated by the white X. Enter the open doors in
the east corridor. Go to the end and pull up onto a slope. Jump the slopes by
just holding down the jump key. You will land in a corridor in the east wall.
Go to the end and jump with grab to clear the hole below you. Around the room
are many black holes. Most of the holes are deadly deep pits. Drop into the
south-west corner hole for secret #4 and a compass. Pull up and drop into the north-west hole.
Go north and use a floor lever in the east alcove.
Continue following the corridor and pull up onto
some steps. Run down a blue corridor. Run towards the end, turn around and
shoot a ninja. Return to the body and pick up flares. Follow the corridor and safety drop into a
room that you saw earlier. Dive into the water hole in the north-east corner.
Swim north and turn into the now open gate. Follow the underwater tunnel and
pull up into a room with many closed doors.
Enter the open corridor in the east wall and save
the game for a timed run. Save the game in every corridor or
you have to start at the beginning if you are two slow.
Step on the white tile and you hear a door open.
Run west and loop around to the left to enter the timed open door in the east
wall corner.
Step on a white tile to open the door. Run west and
turn left into the first open door in the south wall.
Step on a white tile to open the door. Run north
and loop around to the left and enter the second open door in the south wall.
Step on a white tile to open the door. Run north and turn to the left to enter the
timed open door in the west wall.
Step on a white tile to open the door. Run east and turn to the left to enter the
timed open door in the north wall corner.
Just follow the corridor to find another
motorcycle. Get on the motorcycle and just follow the corridor to a closed
door. Get off the motorcycle and pull down the jump switch on the south wall.
The door opens in the corner. Either shoot or drive over the ninja behind the door. Drive town a tunnel and then
drive down to the bottom of a slope. Just drive forward and up the slope. You
should jump over a water pool and land on a safe ledge. Immediately hit ALT to
stop the motorcycle or you will drop into the next water pool. Get off the
motorcycle and jump over the second water pool. It is difficult because of the
camera angle. Go north and enter the open door to the west.
Go to the west wall and grab a crevice. Shimmy to
the right and pull up into an alcove. Pull up onto a higher north block. Turn
to the right and jump to grab the top of a higher east slope. Pull up, slide
down, and jump to another slope. Jump a few more easy slopes and finally grab a
crevice on the south wall. Shimmy to the right and around the corner. Pull up
into a west wall alcove. During the trip, wall darts will poison you for a few
seconds. Pull up north onto a higher block. Stand jump to the east to grab a
ledge and pull up. Next is a series of jumping on slopes over a deadly floor.
Just keep the jump key pressed and you should jump the slopes easily. There are
slopes at the north wall where you can grab the top of the slope and save. Near the end, roll so that you land on the last slope in the
south-east corner backwards. Back flip and hit the west wall so that the
wall pushes you forward into a hole. Land on a slope and slide down and grab
the edge. Shimmy to the left, pull up and back flip onto a slope. Jump another
two slopes to finally grab the top of a column. Pull up on the south side and
into a corridor.
Grab a crevice in the south wall and shimmy to the
left. Go around the corners and ignore the item on the floor. Continue to
shimmy to the end until you can drop onto a safe tile. Stand jump over the
fires and pick up the Ba Cartouche. Stand jump back to the safe tile. Go
south into the next room and see two closed doors. Go to the south-east corner
alcove and pull down a jump switch. Return to the room and enter the open door
in the south wall. Go to the end of the corridor and place the Ba Cartouche. Return to the room and enter the open door in
the west wall.
Enter the room but do not approach the item on the
floor for now. Loop around to the left and into the south-east corner. You get secret #5 and a compass.
Run towards the item on the floor and the level ends.
