Walkthrough by Harry Laudie
You start by
sliding down a small hill and stop in a snowy street. Go north and find a small
box in a left alcove. Pick up a large medipack from the box. Turn around and enter the
east passageway. You enter a small room.
Jump up into the upper south-west alcove and use the floor lever. You get a cut
scene of a candy cane gate opening. Hop down and go west to the street.
Continue north and enter the open gate from the cut scene. Go east to a huge
icicle. You can see an opening in the south wall for later. Go east to a tree.
Look south and see a closed gate and a receptacle for later. Continue east and
go under the archway. At the end of the archway, you get a flyby of the town
and a large chateau.
Go east between
the buildings. You enter a large open area. To the south-east are three snowmen
and the entrance to the chateau. Go north into a dark passageway. Follow it to
the end and jump onto a box. Look to the south-west corner and see a jump
switch. Grab the roof and shimmy to the right to pull down the jump switch. You
get a cut scene of a block dropping in the opening you saw after you entered
the gates. Exit this area and go west. Enter the opening that you saw earlier.
Go the end of the tunnel. Push a moveable block into a room. Move the block
under a high wall switch on the upper north wall. Pull down the wall switch.
You get a cut scene of a trap door raising somewhere. Leave the room and go
east back under the archway.
This time look
south and see a box on trap doors above you. Continue east and go south to the
gates of the chateau. Go west and run and jump to grab the raised trap door
over the pit. Run and jump south and grab the ledge. Pull up into a room with
boxes. You can see a corridor in the west wall for later. Climb onto the highest
box and run and jump to pull down a jump switch on the north wall. You get a
cut scene of the box that you saw on a trap door. Use the trap door to get over
the pit again. Get back to the chateau entrance. Exit and go north and west
back to the archway. You should see that the box has dropped onto the ground.
Push the box to
the south. Then push the box to the east into another area. Notice a closed
block in the west wall. Turn to the north and see a fancy tile in the dark
north alcove. Push the block onto that fancy tile and the block drops in the
west wall. Do not enter there yet. Go east and pull out a moveable block from
the north wall. Push the block into the south-east corner and climb onto the
block to reach the roof. Carefully jump onto the blocks to the south and east.
Drop onto a ledge above the chateau entrance and pick up torch. Jump the blocks again and return to the open
door. Or drop to the ground and run north, west, and then south to get to the
open doorway.
Enter the
doorway and go south into a room with presents on the floor. You can shoot an
empty trashcan. Go west into a room and see a fire behind a fence. Shoot the
picture of Lara on the south wall. Hop into the alcove and pull down the wall
switch. Turn around and see that the fence is down. Carefully light the torch
on the fire. Exit the room and go north and east to the area where you see
three snowman. Save the game now. Throw the lit torch onto the snow in the area
where the three snowmen are looking. You
should see the snow burn and collapse. If not, reload the game, and try another
location. The good place would be about three tiles to the south oposite the door in the north wall. When the snow is gone,
step into the depression and pick up the Ruby Cube
from the snow. You cannot use it yet, so do not lose it.
Go south back
to the chateau entrance. Jump the trap door again and jump back to the room
with the boxes. Pull out a box from the north-east corner. Push it into an
opening at the west wall. Pull out the upper box from the north wall and push
the box into the entrance of the west corridor. Go east and see a trap door
that needs to be raised. Drop into the hole and go
east to pick up a large medipack
from the floor. Enter a north wall opening to find a place where you can pull
back up into the corridor. Go north back into the room and climb on top of the
highest box again. Look up to the north and see a dark section of wall. Jump
there and grab the dark climbable wall. Shimmy to the right and climb the wall
up into a small room. Use the floor lever and get a cut scene
of the trap door rising. Climb down and safety drop to the floor. Go west and
push the moveable box to the end of the corridor. Hop onto the box and turn
around. Pull down the jump switch on the upper east wall. You get a cut scene
of a block dropping at the chateau entrance.
Get out of the
corridor and use the trap door again to return to the chateau entrance. Go
south and enter the open door. Just follow the corridor and you reach another
outside area. Go east and enter the archway in to the south wall where you see
the huge icicles. Go over the frozen pool and enter the tunnel in the
south-west corner. Just follow the tunnel and climb up into higher tunnels when
necessary. You arrive at a dead-end in front of a stained glass window. Turn
around and jump up to grab the climbable west wall. Pull up into an alcove and
grab the climbable south wall. Pull up into a tunnel. Follow the tunnel up the
ramps and get a cut scene of a church. You are in front of a closed fence.
Follow the
north tunnel and climb more blocks. You will get a flyby of a large roof area
of the chateau showing you the route to take. Exit onto the roof and stand jump
the blocks to the west. Eventually you get to a long jump to the west that you
cannot make. Jump to the roof and slide down. Grab the edge and shimmy to the
right and onto an invisible crevice. The block is climbable so climb to the
top. Most climbable walls in this area have a checkerboard pattern. Stand jump to
the higher south block around the corner. The wall to the east is climbable.
Climb up onto the corner of the roof. Do a banana-type jump to an alcove to the
south. Side jump to the right and onto the south roof.
Slide down and grab the edge. Shimmy to the right and you find a climbable wall
section. Climb down, release, and grab the edge of an opening below you. Pull
up into the tunnel. You can see a closed door to the lower south-west. Go east
and get a cut scene of the area behind you and see a crowbar.
Ignore the
crawl space to the east for now. Go back to the tunnel entrance and look down
to a courtyard. Notice that the lower south-west door is open. The crowbar is
to the lower north-west. Drop backwards and grab the roof. Shimmy to the right
and onto a climbable block. Climb up onto the block in front of the open
doorway. Follow the tunnel and drop to a lower tunnel. Go to the end and grab
the climbable west wall. Climb down to the bottom and follow the tunnel to a
lower outside area. Go to the north wall. Push the moveable box in the
north-east corner next to the snow block to the west. Now go south to where you
entered this area. Go south behind the tree and pull down a wall switch that is
actually on the tree. Look south and see two blocks rise next to the moveable
box. Use the blocks to reach a climbable wall. Climb up and pull up to the top.
Run and jump to the east and pick up the crowbar.
Jump to the
climbable wall and jump down the boxes to the ground. Go south to the tunnel.
Climb the wall again and exit onto the block. Jump up to grab the climbable
south wall above your head. Climb to the roof edge and shimmy to the left.
Climb down the wall and get into the east wall tunnel again. Go east and follow
the crawl space. Drop into a room covered with shallow water. Run south to a
fence. Pull down the wall switch on the west wall. Go east and south and loop
around the column and enter the open fence. Use the crowbar to pry the Talisman from the wall.
Exit this room
and return to the water room. Look for a small medipack behind the column in the south-east corner.
Go north and look for a moveable block at the east wall behind a column. Move
the block under the entrance crawl space. Notice a closed gate in the upper
north wall. Pull up into the crawl space. Crawl back to the tunnel overlooking
the courtyard. Slide down again and grab the edge. Shimmy to the right and
climb onto that lower south-west block again. Run and jump to the west and land
on the lower ledge. Run and jump to the sloped west roof and slide to the
bottom. Go north and use the Talisman to open the gate. Follow the tunnel to
another room of boxes. Climb the boxes at the east wall. Drop into a hole and
pick up a cross. You get a cut scene of the
gate dropping in the room with the shallow water.
Exit this room
and return through the open gate. Go south and find a climbable east wall
section marked by the checkerboard pattern. Climb up onto the ledge. Run and
jump to the sloped roof to the east. Slide down, grab, and shimmy to the left onto
the climbable block. Pull up and climb the wall above your head again. Climb to
the roof and shimmy to the left. Climb down and get into the east wall tunnel
again. Follow the crawl space to the room with the shallow water. Drop in the
room and push the moveable block under the opening in the north wall. Pull up
into the opening. Follow a crawl space and drop at the end. You are back on the
ledge where you started to jump over the roof blocks.
Follow the
tunnel in the south-west corner. Follow the tunnel back to the fence at the
church. The fence is not open. Go south and follow the tunnels back to the
outside area again. Go west and south to exit this area and return to the
chateau entrance. Go north and west again. Go west under the archway and go south
where you see the closed gates. Place the cross and the first gate drops. Enter
and place the Ruby Cube and the second gate drops. Enter the gate and get onto
the three-wheel motorbike. Drive north to the tree and the huge icicle. Drive
up the snowy slope to the north-west. The camera view changes and you are in a
trench. Drive forward and the level ends.
