Simply Purple

You start in a room with harmful but not immediately deadly purple water. To the south are closed doors. To the west is a closed curtain. Go east and sprint through the water to reduce damage. At the entrance of the next room is a trap door. Run around the fence to the east side of the room. You can squeeze past the boxes to get between them. Push the two boxes into the alcoves in the corners of the room and the gate in the east wall opens. Enter the room and see two floor levers. Use the left north-east floor lever and get a cut scene of a platform rising in the water in the starting room. Do not use the right south-east floor lever or you catch fire and die. Exit the room and shoot two black panthers as you return to the starting room.

Jump onto the raised south-east platform and get into the crawl space in the south wall. Continue to the end and stand up to use a floor level. You get a cut scene of a curtain rising back in the starting room. Return to the starting room and enter the west corridor in the south-west corner. The curtain drops behind you. To the south is another closed curtain. Enter the west branch corridor. You enter the snack room and see many Big Mac objects. You also see skeletons on the floor. Pull back the two skeletons with the green balloons and pick up red shotgun shells and revolver ammo.

Go to the south wall and pull back the moveable Big Mac twice to the north. Push the Big Mac three times to the east and onto a different textured tile. A row of Big Macs rises and the moveable Big Mac also. Push the moveable Big Mac to the end of the row and a second row rises. Push the moveable Big Mac to the end of the second row and a third row of double height raises. Keep pushing the moveable Big Mac as more rows rise. Push it onto the Big Mac column at the south wall. You get a cut scene showing a jump switch magically appearing on the west wall. Jump and pull down the jump switch. The gate opens below you. Run into the tunnel and use the floor lever. You get a cut scene of the Big Mac in the corridor dropping. Avoid the two skeletons and exit the room. Get into the alcove and pick up the revolver. Exit the alcove and run south through the open curtain.

Enter the room and evade a third skeleton. Run up either side hill and you are safe. The skeletons ignore you while you are on the hills. On the south wall you can see a closed curtain and two jump switches beside it. Wait until the skeletons exit back into the corridor and then run to pull down the two wall switches. The curtain in the middle will rise. Drop onto the ledge behind the raised curtain. You face a deep pit. Run and jump to grab onto the column to the south of you. Pull up and face north. In the north corners of the room you can see two hearts hanging by ropes. Use the pistols and jump up and down to shoot the two hearts. You get a cut scene of a curtain rising and the laser sight magically appears in the inventory.

Look south and see many colorful balloons near the ceiling. Use the revolver and laser sight and shoot the four green balloons. Ropes will appear in the room. If you are a very bad shot and run out of revolver ammo, go back to the snack room and get more revolver ammo from the skeleton with the green balloon. The revolver ammo only appears if you have no ammo left. Jump up to grab the rope above you. Swing south and grab the next rope. You probably will need two or three swings to make it. Swing again and land on the next column. Run and jump to grab the south ledge. Pull up into the tunnel and go south into an east branch tunnel.

You face moving balloons, fire emitters and breakable tiles between the fire emitters. Get past the first two sets of traps. The north sides of the traps have a longer tunnel so you escape the balloon. On the third set of traps stand on the breakable tile and drop into a safe tunnel. Follow the tunnel south and pick up a Party Cracker for secret #1. Pull up and continue east. On the fourth set of traps, run into the north tunnel and pull up into a crawl space. Drop on the other side and pick up a yellow balloon from a pedestal. Get out and get past the balloon and into a safe corridor.

Go south and step on a tile to pick up a shotgun. Go north and follow the tunnel to a ramp. Go up the ramp and enter a room with lava pits. Turn around and shoot two gorillas that followed you into the room. Pull back the skeleton with the green balloon and pick up revolver ammo.

South-west pit: Stand on the east side at one tile back from the pit and face west. Stand jump into the pit and immediately back flip out of the pit. A large blue balloon drops from the ceiling into the pit.

South-east pit: Stand on the west side at one tile back from the pit and face east. Stand jump into the pit and immediately back flip out of the pit. A large blue balloon drops from the ceiling into the pit.

North-west pit: Stand on the east side at one tile back from the pit and face west. Stand jump into the pit and immediately back flip out of the pit. A large blue balloon drops from the ceiling into the pit.

North-east pit: Stand on the west side at one tile back from the pit and face east. Stand jump into the pit and immediately back flip out of the pit. A large blue balloon drops from the ceiling into the pit.

When the four balloons have dropped, two colorful tiles replace the pit in the center of the room. Move the red balloon onto the red tile. Move the yellow balloon onto the yellow tile. The gate in the south wall opens. Enter the alcove and pick up the red balloon from the pedestal. Use the floor lever behind the pedestal and exit the alcove. Enter the open gate in the north wall. Run to the end of the tunnel and step onto the rising platform. Stay on the platform until it stops.

Follow the tunnel north to a closed curtain and hear growling coming from behind it. Go into the south tunnel to pick up a Big Mac (large medipack) and a note. The note states, "He's got the key. Go get it!" Follow the south tunnel and loop around and go north. Pull back a skeleton for revolver ammo. Follow the tunnel again into a long room. You get a cut scene of a large gate rising and an enemy. Shoot the enemy and pick up the Key from the body. You get a cut scene of a curtain rising. Turn around and shoot a gorilla. If you go into the room behind the raised large gate, you will see more closed curtains. Return through the entrance tunnel and see the raised curtain. Pick up the Candy Cane (crowbar) from the floor.

Continue forward and follow the tunnel to a slope. Slide down the slope to land beside a golf cart. You get a flyby back to the trap door at the start of the game. The trap door is open. Save the game for a timed run. Get into the golf cart and drive west up the hill. The curtain opens for you. Drive through the room with the skeletons from earlier. Ignore them and continue to drive west to the next doors that open for you. Now it is a timed race through a dark tunnel. There are arrows to guide you through the tunnel. There is also a water pit somewhere in the dark tunnel so drive fast up any hills. At the end, you exit back into the starting room. Use ALT to stop the golf cart. Get out and sprint east through the water and drop into the timed trap door. When you get inside the tunnel the trap door stays open. The timed run is not very tight. You can bump into a few walls and still make it. If you do not make it, reload the game and try again or you drive back which also resets the timer.

At the east end of the tunnel is a closed curtain. Return west and see a room above you for later. Go west and pull up through the open trap door. Go around the fence to the gate in the north wall. Use the candy cane to pry open the gate. Enter the room and turn around to shoot a gorilla and a black panther. Use the floor lever and get a cut scene of a curtain rising. This was the curtain in the room behind the raised large gates. Exit the room and return to the golf cart. Use the west wall platform with the closed curtain to carefully make a three point turn with the golf cart. Drive back through the dark tunnel. Drive quickly to get over a water trap. Drive until you see a ladder on the wall. Get out of the golf cart and climb the ladder. Follow the tunnel and shoot two bats. Be careful of the dropping skeleton blade traps. Drop into a tunnel and pick up the blue balloon from the pedestal. Exit back through the tunnel and return to the golf cart.

Shoot three bats and continue to drive to the west. You drive up a ramp with two blue arrows. Stop at the top and exit the golf cart. Look at the ghost on the east wall. Below the ghost is a crawl space with a blue arrow. Follow the crawl space to drop into a dark room. Shoot two bats and wait until a ghost appears on the floor. Pick up the ghost for secret #2. Exit the crawl space in the north-west corner to get back to the golf cart. Continue driving down the dark tunnel back to the room with the hills.

Drive to either side against the wall to get back over the hills. Drive east over the hills and avoid the three skeletons again. Enter the room with the golf cart was located. Drive up the sloped tunnel and get out of the golf cart. Follow the south tunnel back to the room with raised large gates. Shoot the enemy wearing the party hat. Or you can just out run him. Go through the raised large gates and run east through the open curtain from the cut scene. Enter the room and climb the pole in the middle of the room. Back flip onto an upper ledge. Pick up the green balloon from the pedestal. Pull back the skeleton in the corner for red shotgun shells. Safety drop to the floor.

Exit the room and avoid a skeleton. Run back through the corridors to the golf cart. Drive down the sloped tunnel, over the hills, and through the dark tunnel again. Enter the starting room and get out of the golf cart. Go through the water and into the still open trap door. Go to the bottom of the ramp and turn around to face west. Pull up into the room above you. Face the pedestals from the front and place the four balloons on the four pedestals. You get a cut scene of the curtain opening in the tunnel below. Drop into the tunnel and go west. Enter the open curtain and slide down the slope. Look at the fireworks and the Happy New Year signs as the game ends.
