Start a new game and pick Catacombe as the level. [End note]
You start in a submerged tunnel. Pick up a large medipack from beneath you. Swim west and
through an opening to surface in a pool. Dive into the north-east corner and
swim through the dark section of the floor. Swim north through the underwater
tunnel and pull up into a room. Shoot the red vase and pick up a crossbow. Also pick up grenade
flash ammo and a large medipack. Use the
floor lever and hear a door open. Return to the pool and pull up onto the west
ledge. Enter the dark west tunnel and pick up flares.
Go to the back of the tunnel and press the big button on the east wall. You
hear a door open. Exit the tunnel back to the pool. Jump over the pool and
enter the open door in the east wall. Follow the tunnel and shoot a white vase
for a small medipack. Go north and the door
opens as you approach.
Slide down the slope and land in a water pool. Pull
up on the south ledge and face a closed door and a receptacle. Go east and the
door opens for you. Enter the dark room and press the big button on the north
wall. Evade a mummy and go east to drop into a
water hole. Swim east and north and pull up into a dark room. Use the floor
lever in the north-west corner. Swim back and take a branch tunnel to the right
and enter an open door. Follow the new tunnel and shoot an empty vase. Press
the big button on the east wall. The door opens beside you. Enter the room and
pick up flares.
Go north and walk through the center section of a
translucent wall. Stop before a pit as two spike balls roll down the sides of
the ramp. Go east into a dark tunnel and use the floor lever. Go up the side of
the ramp and avoid a spike ball that rolls down the center of the ramp. Enter
the open door at the top. Jump to the west and over the door. Press a big
button and hear a door open. Jump back over the door and evade a mummy. Follow the tunnel and enter the open door in
the east wall. Follow the tunnel and jump around a pillar. Use a floor lever
and hear a door open. Exit the room and go north. Run west and pass a climbable
wall. Follow the tunnel to pick up a revolver in the corner and evade another mummy. Return to the climbable wall and climb up. Pull
up onto a ledge overlooking an enclosed room. By the way, the flare bug has
started. You have to throw a flare to get any light.
Climb down the other side and dive into the pool.
Search the middle of the dark floor and pick up a shotgun.
Swim into the lower north-east corner and swim through the lower west wall.
Follow the underwater tunnel and pick up red shotgun
shells, blue shotgun shells, grenade normal ammo, flares, and a laser sight. Swim up to surface for air. Pull up and
pick up crossbow explosive ammo, crossbow poison ammo,
and crossbow
normal ammo from the floor. Throw a flare to get light. Destroy a mummy and pick up a Pharaoh’s
Pillar (Pilastro di Faro) from the floor
at the west wall. The pillar on the pedestal in a fire trap. Return to the
water hole.
Swim back and climb the wall ladder. Climb down the
other side and go south to exit the room. Go down the ramp and through the
translucent wall again. Enter the tunnel and get into the water. Swim back to
the first ledge with the closed door and the receptacle. Now you can destroy
the mummy. You can use the pillar to open the
door now or later.
Go west and the door opens as you approach. Enter
the door and grab the ceiling. Monkey swing south over the deadly fire trap on
the floor. There is a crossbow in the deadly trench
but you cannot get it without catching fire. Drop near the left side of
the ledge at the end of the trench. If you drop in the middle, the opening door
can push you off the edge and onto the deadly floor.
Enter the room and drop in the shallow water pool
and pick up a crossbow. The vases in the room
are empty. Evade a mummy and pull up onto an
upper south ledge. Evade a mummy and pull up
onto an upper north ledge. Evade a mummy and
pull up onto a second higher north ledge. Evade a mummy
and pull up onto a third higher north ledge. Evade a mummy
and pull up onto a fourth higher north ledge with a vase and flowing
waterfalls. Go east and the door as you approach. Carefully sprint to the back
of the room and use the floor lever. There are spike balls that drop into the
room. Exit the room and go west into another open door.
Destroy a mummy and
pull back the tower in the south corner. Enter the crawl space in the west wall
behind the tower. Use the floor lever and exit. The east wall opens to reveal a
tunnel. The black circle on the floor is a fire trap pit. Go south and push a
tower. Pick up the Horseman's Gem (Gemma del
cavaliere) from the floor. Walk through the picture on the west wall.
Pick up two grenade flash ammo, two grenade super
ammo, grenade normal ammo, and the grenade gun from the floor.
Exit the room and follow the ledges back down to the shallow water pools. Enter
the north corner doorway. Grab the ceiling and monkey swing back to the ledge
with the receptacle.
Use the pillar to open the door in the
south wall. Enter the room and pick up a shotgun from a shallow water pool. Use the gem
to open the next door. Enter the door and save the game. Slide down the slope
to the east. You may have to roll so that you slide down facing forwards. Near
the dark end section, jump forward to grab a ledge and pull up into a tunnel.
Go east and slide down a slope into another room. Go east to pick up a Horseman's Gem and flares. Enter a dark room with a pool. Run
counter clockwise around the pull and press a big button. A door opens to your
left. Shoot a grenade into the water pool to break the vases. Pick up Pharaoh’s Knot (Nodo di Faro) from the south-east corner. Pull up and enter the open door.
Grab the ceiling and monkey swing over a deep pit.
Use the knot to open the next door. Enter the next room and destroy two mummies. Go north and pick up crossbow explosive ammo from the floor. Return to the
door and hop up into the east wall alcove. Pull up onto an archway. Go west and
pull up onto a ledge. Pull up to another ledge. Run and jump down to a lower
north-east ledge to pick up a grenade gun. Jump
back to the previous ledge. Stand jump to grab a north ledge and pull up for revolver ammo. Stand jump to grab a higher south
ledge and pull up. Place the gem to open the door above the lower north ledge.
Jump into the open door and slide down a slope.
Pick up flares and enter the crawl space in the
lower east wall. Stand up and walk forward as the camera view changes. Stop in
front of a deep pit. Stand jump to the east to land on a platform. Pick up a small medipack. Stand jump to the north-east ledge.
Pick up flares. Go east and shoot a red vase
for Uzi ammo. Dive into the water and enter a
flooded room. Swim through the tunnel in the south wall. Follow the tunnel to
shoot a vase for revolver ammo. Also destroy two mummies and get into a crawl space in the lower
north wall. Go to the end and stand up to use a floor lever. Exit the crawl
space and swim back to the flooded room.
Swim through the face tile on the upper north wall.
Follow the tunnel and pull up into a dark room. Use the north-east corner floor
lever. The north-west lever is a fire trap. Swim back to the flooded room. Swim
into the tunnel in the upper west wall. Pull up into a dark room. Shoot the red
vase on the south ledge and pick up Uzi's. Get
onto the west ledge and the door opens for you. Enter and go down some dark
steps to destroy a mummy. Continue down and a
door opens for you. Enter a small room with a receptacle in the north-west
corner. Go east and pull up onto an upper ledge. Destroy a mummy but do not use the floor lever. Just run around
it and drop down to the room again.
Go to the north-east corner and dive into the
water. Swim down into a flooded room. Swim through the open door in the lower
west wall. If the door is closed go back to the upper ledges and play with
floor lever until the door stays open. Pull up onto a south ledge. Stand jump
to grab a higher north ledge. Pull up and pick up the Pharaoh’s
Knot from the floor. Swim back and place the knot in the receptacle in
the corner. You hear a door open. Pull up to the upper north ledge again. Go to
the north-west corner and through the open door. Go to the end and climb the
wall ladder. Pull up into a dark room. The vases are empty but they are over
fire traps. Hop onto the ledge at the west wall and pick up the Music Scroll (Pergamena musicale).
I did a lot of back tracking and found nothing else
to do. I never found an end level trigger so I guess that picking up the music
scroll is the end.
