In chronological order, this is the third walkthru from the "Kill Eel: No pain - no Cain" series already.
It WAS no need to play "Evil Palace".
It IS no need to write it.
It WILL BE no need to use it.
But as long as there are lots of much more useless things in our real life, one more thing less useless than them won't disturb the virtual world. So I let this piece of sheet exist.
Turn left, jump over the gap, pick up the shotgun armed with 6 normal shells and collect 102 more (17 packages) from the room you are in. Go through the portal near the SE corner and, in the next room, find another box of normal shells on the top of the bridge. As soon as you enter the red room, turn left and jump over the fire pit. Pick up 4 x Grenadegun Super Ammo and avoid the mummy while getting to the other side of the place. Enter the striped room, go to its other side, pick up 4 more Super Grenades from behind the pit and the grenade gun from next to the ammo. Now you are able to blow up all three mummies (you need only one grenade for this). Watch out for the next mummy in the next room and pick up some GGS ammo from the raised block in the center. Advance to the next room. Don't mind the spiky ball, activate two scorpions and another mummy and fire the GG once to blow them all up. Get to the platforming area and runjump onto the first one on the N. Continue jumping N, blowing up one mummy in the meantime, until you reach the platform with 6 more normal shells. Kill the mummy and grab the pickup. Then do some jumping W, pick up 4 more Super Grenades and explode the mummy behind you. Jump S, kill the scorpion and the mummy, collect 2 large medis and finally platform S to move to the next room. Blow up another Egyptian balsammed with resurrection serum. Ignore the central lever switch - there is a slow, painful death zone on its square. Go around the pit and up into the dark place. Platform N, then E and slide down. Watch ouf for some misdirected spikes and a spiky balls falling down when you step on a part of ramp below it or onto a square on the N of the ramp. Kill the mummy and grab several items: a small medikit, some shotgun shells and one more pack of Super Grenades. At the very beginning of the next room, avoid one more falling ball. Run around its ramp to activate and kill two mummies. After you platform E, watch out for one more ball in the portal. Pass the empty room. In the next one there are several different things: a ball to avoid on the E of the entrance, a mummy to trigger and kill near the ramp on the N (don't worry - the ball up there is harmless) and the last spiky ball on the E of the place the last mummy appeared in. Proceed through the room by getting two medipacks from in front of you, killing the mummy and jumping over the gap on the far end. In the last chamber, blow up 3 mummies and get 2 packs of wideshot ammo from behind the gap. Some poison arrows are there as well. Jump down into the pit and this is it.
EVIL PALACE REMAKE
Jump over the gap, pick up the shotgun armed with 6 normal shells and collect 102 more (17 packages) from the room you are in. Go through the portal near the SW corner and, in the next room, find another 3 boxes of normal shells on the top of the bridge. As soon as you enter the red room, draw your weapon(s) and kill a giant eel creeping towards you. From far end of the room, pick up 4 x Grenadegun SuperAmmo and the Grenade Gun to open the door. Enter the next room and blow up the eel horde in there. Avoid the spiky ball falling down when you go across the bridge. Activate another 2 eels.
NOTE: You're very likely to be out of grenades know. For minimum health loss, jump over the eels towards the GGS ammo pack and roll on it. Grab the pickup and jump to the other side of the bridge, drawing the weapon in midair. Roll to face the bridge and wait for the eels to enter it, what makes you sure you won't miss. Imagine you're Gandalf on the bridge of Khazad-dum, shout "You shall not pass!" and blow them both with 1 grenade only.
Now you can grab another box of grenades and 3 packs of normal shotgun shells from the other side of the bridge. Pull up onto a barrier on the E and platform ahead, blowing up the eel appearing on the top of the largest platform in the meantime. DON'T get to the SE corner of the area (death zoneand now platform NE and N. Kill 2 more eels, pick up one more pack of Super Grenades and another one on the W. Platform NW to kill 4 eels and get 4 more Super Grenades. There's another eel to kill on the E. Do it and finally platform S to get 8 more SGGA packs and move to the next room. Massacre the whole legion of eels. Ignore the central lever switch - there is a slow, painful death zone on its square. But you can jump into the pit surrounding the switch and take a lava walk to reach the next room on the NE. Just after you get there, pick up 2 boxes of normal shells and 2 boxes of SGGA. Now the eels come from every direction. Getting on the pedestal in the center of the room to avoid them doesn't help at all, as it spawns more eels near, or exactly in the same place you land. Blow up all the monstrous fishes and get two large medis from the main floor. Go back on the pedestal, activate and kill some more eels on the next pedestal. Grab the monkey swing and enjoy moving S, as "Evil Palace" is one of the few levels of Cain's where such swinging is included. DON'T land on the raised surface - it's deadly lava - but proceed to above the pit and hear familiar footsteps... Release the grip and arm the GG immediately. Fall down and blow up the animals. Get into the smaller pit and go inside the crawlspace. Some seconds later pick up the SGGA pack from the alcove on your left. Now proceed farther through the crawlspace, to its very end, where you can find a fire cobra at the bottom of the large pit. Jump ahead, left IMMEDIATELY to dodge the spikeball and right to return. Pick up the SGGA from the next platform. Face the next one. Jump ahead, backflip IMMEDIATELY to dodge the spikeball and ahead again to return. On the last platform here, find another 4 Super Grenades. Exit the room by killing the eel appearing in the portal, grabbing the large medi and the next pack of SGGA. Jump over the gap, kill the eel and pick up the large medi and two more boxes of grenades. You're not able to pick the third one hanging in the air, so jump over the gap, watching out for the flames bursting out of the cobra's mouth, kill some eels on the second bridge in this room and pick up the remaining items: 2 large medis and the last 2 ammo packs, each of them filled with 4 grenades. Descend into the largest room. It's time for final eeldown. Accompanying fire snakes are invincible and can draw Lara's attention from the eels. Don't target them accidentally. After you've done killing-eeling, escape into the pink. No pain - no Cain.
