You start in a cave facing a closed door under a north ledge. Turn around and
go south. Pull up onto the ice ledge. Go to the south-west corner and pick up a
small medipack. You cannot exit out into the snow. Get down and go to the left side of
the north ledge. Stand by the wall and jump up to grab the ladder texture on
the ledge. The right side of the north ledge is not climbable. Pull up onto the
upper ledge and pull down the wall switch on the north wall. Safety drop to the
ground and shoot two dogs. Enter the open doors and the doors close behind you.
There is a key lock above a block at the west wall. Dive into the water and
pick up red shotgun shells and a small medipack. Then swim north through and underwater tunnel. Follow the tunnel into
a large pool. Pick up blue shotgun
shells off the floor and then surface for air.
Pull up on the east ledge and shoot two bats. Go to the east wall and pick up a large medipack off the pedestal. Save the game for a double timed run. Pull down the
wall switch and run north. Hop onto the block and pull down the jump switch. Run
west and pull up onto a raised block. Pull down the wall switch before the
block drops. Drop to the ground and shoot a native. Enter the open doors in the west wall.
Go to the end and look up to the upper south wall. Jump up there and pull down
a jump switch. Drop down onto a grate to pick up a small medipack. Climb back
up north and enter the open door in the corner. Follow the tunnel and shoot a
vase on a pedestal. Watch out for the floor blades and pick up red shotgun shells off the pedestal. Continue west into the next room. There is a large
pit in the middle. Safety drop into the pit and shoot the bear. Pull back
the skeleton in the south-east corner and pick up a shotgun.
Stand on a block near the north-east corner and pull back up onto the upper
ledge. Go west and you have a choice:
Choice 1: Save the game for a timed run. Pull down the wall switch. Side jump
to the right. Run and jump south onto a raised platform. Jump up and pull down
the jump switch. Drop into the pit and climb out again.
Choice 2: Just run and jump to grab the wall switch. Drop into the pit and
climb out again.
Go to the south ledge and hop onto the raised block. Stand jump north to grab a
platform. Pull up to the high ledge and shoot two skeletons off the ledge. Go east
and pick up the Bone Key off the pedestal. Hop back to avoid a swinging spike
bar. Drop to the ledge below and go east to exit the room. Go south and pull
down the wall switch. The doors open at the end. Enter the doors and shoot a dog. You are
back where you started. Hop onto the south-west block and use the key in the
key lock. You get a cut scene of an underwater door opening.
Drop down into the water. Swim to the south-east corner and swim into the
underwater tunnel. Swim down and east and be careful of wall spikes. Swim east
to a slope and stop near the top while a rolling rock falls down the slope. When
the rock has stopped moving, swim east over the rock. Pick up a large medipack and surface in a pool. Pull up onto the east ledge. You can see wall
spikes. Beside each wall spike is an upper alcove.
You can easily avoid the wall spikes. Hop onto the left upper alcove and pick
up a small medipack. Return to the pool entrance. Hop onto the right upper alcove and pick up
the torch. Carefully light the torch on a lit pedestal. Hop onto the block to
avoid the wall spikes and down down to set fire to the unlit pedestal. Exit
over the alcove and light the other unlit pedestal. A block drops down in the
middle of the room. Shoot two natives and take the torch and go east. You enter a maze.
Go straight, then right and then left to a T-junction. Go right and stop at a
fire. Wait until a skeleton appears. Run back and the skeleton follows you. Shoot
the skeleton into the water. Return to the maze and jump over the fire. Follow
the tunnel to a T-junction. Go left and ignore the first branch tunnel. Enter
the second branch tunnel to the right. Follow to the end and find a climbable
wall. If you explore the other tunnels you can find three skeletons to lure back
to the pool to shoot. Climb the wall and pull up into a room. You can see four
receptacles, four jump switches, and four closed doors.
North-west door: Hop onto the central platform. Run and jump north-west to pull
down the wall switch. The door opens below you. Enter the tunnel and watch out
for wall spikes. Get onto a bridge and jump when the swinging spike bar is out
of the way. The side trenches are spike traps. Continue through another tunnel
and enter a small room. Pull down the north-east and south-west wall switches
only to open the bars. Enter the alcove and pick up Statue #1. Shoot a native and return
to the room with the platform.
South-west door: Hop onto the central platform. Run and jump south-west to pull
down the wall switch. The door opens below you. Follow the tunnel to a ledge. Shoot
the bear in the pit. Jump into the pit and move the cage three tiles south and
one tile west onto an out-of-alignment texture tile on the floor. The platform
rises at the south wall. Hop onto the cage. Hop on the platform and pick up Statue #2 off
the pedestal. Hop back to avoid ceiling spikes. Run and jump to grab the
entrance ledge. Pull up and return to the room with the platform.
North-east door: Hop onto the central platform. Run and jump north-east to pull
down the wall switch. The door opens below you. Follow the tunnel to a room
with five pedestals and a wall switch. Do not touch the wall switch yet. If you
do use it, the rocks roll down and put you on fire. Pick up a torch off the tile
in front of the fire on the ledge. Carefully light the torch on the fire. I did
not see a pattern and used trial and error on the pedestals (32 combinations). Number
the pedestals from #1 to #5 as you face the pedestals. Light pedestal #3 and #5
only. Now pull down the wall switch. Three rocks will roll down to the bottom. The
fire stops at the item on the ledge. Pick up Statue #3 off the ledge and return
to the room with the platform.
South-east door: Hop onto the central platform. Run and jump south-east to pull
down the wall switch. The door opens below you. Follow the tunnel to a room
with more fires and pedestals. Move the large statue at the west wall onto the
north-east corner tile. You get a cut scene of a column dropping. Pick up the torch from the
dropped column and light the torch on the fire on the ledge or at the lit
pedestal in the corner. I did not see a pattern and again used trial and error
on the pedestals (64 combinations). Number the pedestals from #1 to #6 as you
face the pedestals. Pedestal #1 is at the north-east corner next to the
moveable statue. Pedestal #6 is at the south-west corner next to the lit
pedestal. Light pedestals #1, #2, and #4 only. The fire stops at the item on
the ledge. Pick up Statue #4 off the ledge and return to the room with the
platform.
Place the four statues in the four receptacles. The large doors open in the
east wall. Enter the doors and pick up red shotgun shells and a small medipack off the floor. Continue up the steps to an outside area. Go east to a
cave opening and shoot two bears. Enter the cave and see three moveable
statues. Pull out the third south-east statue. Pick up the Godhead that was
under the statue. Go north and place the Godhead in the west wall receptacle
and the level ends.
