Level 1: Tomb of Qualopec
You start in a tunnel with a closed door behind you. Just follow the tunnel and enter a room with a pink floor. Go to the north-east corner and pull down the wall switch. Turn and kill two raptors as the north door opens and they attack you. Follow the north tunnel to a 4-way junction with a large blue crystal.
Go east and follow the tunnel to enter a room. The middle section of the north wall is movable. Pull the block into the room and push it aside. Enter the tunnel and pick up Uzi ammo from the floor. Turn west and push the movable block once. Pick up a large medipack from the floor. Run north over a breakable tile. Pull the wall switch and get a cut scene of a gate opening. Jump over the spike trap and return to the 4-way junction with the blue crystal.
Go north and follow the tunnel to a room with a shallow pit. There is a crawl space in the north-east corner that I could not grab. That is an exit for later. Enter the pit and go west. Hop onto the ledge and pull up into a crawl space. Pull up at the right side. You cannot pull up in the middle. Crawl forward to a hole. Shimmy around the spike pit and pull up into the next crawl space. Crawl to the end and exit the crawl space. Back flip over the breakable tile to land in a small room. Shoot two wolves and pick up the Uzis off the pedestal for secret #1. Jump onto the breakable tile and grab the wall ladder before you drop onto the spikes below. Pull up and return to the room with the small pit.
Go to the switch at the north alcove. You fall into a pit. Turn around and kill three wolves. Go up with ramp and pull out the middle block on the south wall. Push it aside and get into the tunnel behind it. Go up the steps and drop into a hole for a small medipack. Get out and continue up the blocks. Enter a room to pick up a small medipack. Pull the wall switch at the north wall. You get a cut scene of a gate opening. Drop into the south hole and land on a breakable tile. Side jump off the tile and shoot two wolves. Be careful of the spikes under the breakable tile and the fires to the north.
Go north and run and jump over the fires. Follow the tunnel and avoid the swinging blades. Follow the tunnel and find more traps. You can run over the safe corners of the fire tiles and stay near the walls to avoid the swinging blades. At the end, pull up into a crawl space. Just follow the crawl space and drop into the room with the shallow pit. Jump over the pit and go south for the 4-way junction with the blue crystal.
Go west and enter another small room. Pull the east wall switch and get a cut scene of a door opening near a lava trench. Then go north and drop into the pit. Notice the spikes at the base of the north wall. Enter the west wall tunnel and follow the stairs onto a column overlooking the pit. Jump west to grab am upper ledge. Pull up into an opening and just keep climbing blocks to a tunnel. Go to the top and safety drop down to a lower block. Pull down the wall switch facing you and get a cut scene of a door opening near a switch. You may also see a raptor. Drop down onto the next block and save the game in front of the breakable tiles. Just run over the tiles and drop in front of a crawl space. You can safely walk through the spikes if you need to do this route again. Crawl through and drop down to the 4-way junction with the blue crystal.
Shoot the raptor that is running around the area. Go west through the tunnel again. Enter the open door from the cut scene. Go up the blocks and be careful of falling ceiling on the top block. Drop onto another column overlooking the pit. Stand jump east into an upper tunnel. Go to the end and pull down the wall switch. You get a cut scene of a gate opening in a tunnel. Go back and jump onto the column but do not drop into the pit. Use the binoculars and you can see the outlines of invisible floating platforms to the north. Stand jump onto the platforms. Stand jump into the north wall opening. Enter the room and pull down the wall switch. You get a cut scene of a gate opening. Jump over the spike trap and drop into the pit. Pull up into the south-west tunnel and return to the 4-way junction with the blue crystal. Shoot another raptor that you meet. Go south to the starting room.
Go south into the new tunnel. Follow the tunnel to a hallway with statues and wall darts. Go to the beginning of the steps and pull up into the south upper alcove with a statue. A door opens for you. Walk in and get secret #2. The floor is covered with breakable tiles. Run over the breakable tiles to reach the safe south-east corner. Try to break most of the tiles. Pick up red shotgun shells. Drop and grab the edge of the platform. Shimmy to the right and against the wall. Drop onto the safe corner of the fire. Go to the corner and pick up Uzi ammo for secret #3. Pull back up and jump over the spikes to exit the room. Or walk through the spikes and pull up into the entrance. Then continue west up the stairs.
Follow the tunnel to the lava trench. To the west is the door that you saw in a cut scene. Enter the door and the door closes. Go west and hear the secret sound for secret #4. Pull down the wall switch in the corner to open the door. Pick up the shotgun from the pedestal and four panther mummies start to attack. Quickly exit the room and go to the right. Go down the steps to get more room to evade and shoot the mummies. Use the shotgun, as the pistols seem to have no effect. Then return to the tunnel and the lava trench. Stand jump over they slopes to reach a safe tunnel in the corner.
Follow the tunnel to a room with a pedestal. Run to the back of the north tunnel and pick up three M16 normal ammo. Pick up two Uzi ammo from the west wall corner pedestals. The panther mummies fall to the floor but did not attack. Pick up the Scion from the pedestal and do not move. An earthquake starts and pieces fall from the ceiling. Be careful of the falling ceiling pieces as you exit to the east. More pieces fall from the ceiling. You are in front of a lava floor and slopes. Save the game. Stand jump to the first slope. Jump with a left curve to the large slope. Jump with a left curve to the next short slope. Jump with a right curve to grab a wall ladder. A rock should have fallen on the large slope and the door should be open above you.
Sprint down the slope and run to the right to avoid a rolling ball. You are in the starting room. Be careful of falling ceiling pieces and enter the east wall tunnel. Go to the end and through the door that was closed at the level start. Go around the blue crystal and follow the tunnel. Slide down a slope into a water pool and the earthquake should stop. Get out of the water and shoot a man (Larson?) who is shooting grenades at you.
Dive into the water and swim east through an underwater tunnel. You surface in a cave. Pull up to a ledge for Uzi ammo and large medipack. You get secret #5. Swim back to the first pool and pull up on the south side. There is tunnel in the south wall. That is the exit for later. To the west are rocks and a path to an upper south wall cave. This cave has water streams to jump over and a timed door at the end. Dive into the water and pull down the timed underwater lever on the south wall. You get a cut scene of the timed door opening. Roll and swim to the edge. Pull up and stand jump over the rocks to reach the south tunnel. Jump over the water streams and eventually enter the open door. Pick up a small medipack, red shotgun shells, and Uzi ammo for secret #6. The time allotted is very reasonable if you do not fall into the water streams. You should make it after a few tries to learn the route.
Exit the secret tunnel and jump over the water stream to enter the east wall corner tunnel. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of a door opening. Another earthquake also starts. Exit this cave and be careful of falling ceiling pieces. Return to the pool and enter the south wall tunnel. Follow the tunnel and shoot a wolf. Continue until more ceiling pieces fall. The tunnel will go to the right. At that spot, you can climb the south wall and higher blocks to pick up a large medipack. Get down and continue to follow the tunnel. Shoot three wolves and avoid falling ceiling pieces. Go south through the open door. You enter a room with statues and a light spiral on a block. Climb onto the block and the level ends.
Level 2: Great Wall
You start by sliding down a slope and land in a cave. Check your inventory and notice that you already have a Gold Dragon. This was probably the Scion left from the previous level. Run north and get a cut scene of the helicopter overhead. Go north and get into the water pool. Wade into the north-east corner and pull up onto a ledge. Pull up to the west and notice the path. There is a tiger on the cave floor that you can either shoot or ignore. Just follow the path and pull up onto a block. Run and jump to the north onto the next ledge. Jump over to an east ledge. Run to the end to pick up red shotgun shells and the Stone Dragon for secret #7. Now return to the west and just climb the blocks until you see an opening in the building.
Ignore the opening for now. Climb on the north block and follow the ledge to the east. Just follow the ledge around to the south-west corner and pick up a large medipack. Jump over the north wall and slide down onto the ledge. Pull up into the opening in the wall. You enter an empty room. Go to the north-east corner and stand on a breakable tile. The tile breaks and you drop into a flooded room. Pull up on the west ledge. Run up the steps and run and jump to grab a ledge over the water. Pull up into the alcove and pull down the wall switch. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Dive into the water and pull up on the west ledge again. Go through the open door and step onto the great wall.
Shoot two crows. Ignore the collapsed portion of the wall to the west. Climb the south-east corner of the wall. Pull up onto the east block. Go south into a gap in the rocks. Pull up onto a high north block. Jump east over the gap. Stand jump north-east onto the rocks. Jump forward and grab the roof of the building. Search the roof for four M16 normal ammo and get secret #8. Return back to the block near the gap. Follow the ledge to the west towards the other building. Run and jump with no grab to land on the roof. Jump onto the roof for secret #9. Search the roof for grenade normal ammo, grenade super ammo, grenade flash ammo, and the grenade gun. Jump the ledges to slide down back onto the great wall.
There is a locked door in the west wall. Go to the right and stand on the north-west corner of the wall overlooking the pit. Run and jump to the north-west to land on a ledge. Pull up to the higher west ledge. Pick up two M16 normal ammo and the M16 for secret #10. Safety drop to ground and go east to the water pool. Dive into the water and swim into the underwater tunnel in the east wall. Swim to the end and pick up the Guardhouse Key. Get out of the water and shoot or ignore two tigers. Climb the rocks to the south and pull up onto the wall. Use the key in the key lock and the door opens.
Enter the room and shoot three spiders. Ignore the steps and climb the wall ladder. Pull up and shoot a spider. Pick up the Rusty Key off the floor. Get down and go to the right of the ladder. Use the key in the key lock and the door opens in the west wall alcove. Enter and run through the tunnel into a small room. Turn around and shoot three spiders in the tunnel. Pick up a large medipack and red shotgun shells off the floor near the wall ladder. Climb the ladder and shimmy to the right at the top. Shoot a spider and pick up grenade normal ammo off the ledge. Return to the room below. Push the moveable block aside and enter the tunnel.
Slide down a slope and land in a water trench. Watch out for wall darts and wade through the water. Pull up into a tunnel. Run over the breakable tiles over the spike trap. Enter a wide tunnel and run to right. Two rolling rocks follow you. Enter the narrow tunnel to the east and stop. The balls do not follow. Go forward and save the game. Jump over the spikes and land on a slope. Slide down in a tunnel and the camera view changes. Hit LOOK to get the normal view. Run north and pull up into an upper east wall tunnel to avoid the moving spike walls. When the walls pass, hop back into the tunnel and pick M16 explosive ammo just below the tunnel entrance. Get back into the tunnel.
Run over the breakable tiles and stop in the corner before the knife blade. Hop over the blade and over the breakable tiles to the next safe corner. Do this again and reach a tunnel. You see an item on the floor. Ignore it and run into an east wall tunnel and stop. Wait until the moving spike walls have gone past. Now return pick up Uzi ammo and the Jade Dragon for secret #11. Run through the east tunnel and over the breakable tile. On the next tile, jump over the tile and back flip to avoid a moving spike wall. Continue to the end and save the game.
Slide down a slope and land on a breakable tile. Jump forward and grab the ceiling before the tile breaks. Monkey swing to the east and do not stop as moving spike walls close behind you. At the end, do not release yet. Turn to the left and go forward to drop onto a ledge. Drop down to the next block and save the game in from of a timed wall switch. Pull down the wall switch and the fire emitters stop. Turn left and go to the front of the ledge. Stand jump forward onto the slope. Slide down and jump with a right curve to the next slope. Slide down and jump with a left curve to the next slope. Slide down to the bottom and jump with roll onto the facing slope. Jump with a left curve and land on the slope next to the wall. Slide down and grab the edge. Pull up, back flip, and roll to grab the edge of a tunnel before the fire emitters start again. The time is short so that all jumps must be done with no stopping. If you grab the first or second slope you will fail. When you get into the tunnel entrance, do not move before you save the game.
Turn around and hop backwards up the slope. When you hear a ball drop, run to the tunnel entrance. Roll and hop back to grab the edge. The ball will roll over your head. Pull up and save the game again. Follow the tunnel to the end and see a hole. Grab the edge of the hole. Then pull up as a spike wall passes below you. Now safety drop into the room. Step on the breakable tile to drop into a tunnel. Go north and see a wide tunnel with roller blades. The blades seemed to only go to the right. Go left to get around the blades. There is a small medipack on the floor between the roller blades.
Go north into the next cave. Continue towards the zip line and shoot three spiders. Approach the zip line handle and spiders drop from the ceiling. Shoot the two spiders and save the game. Do not use the zip line yet. Turn around and grab the edge below it. Shimmy to the right and release to drop onto a ledge. Pull up into a cave that is below the zip line. Go south through a tunnel and pick up flares. Continue south to the end and climb down a wall ladder to the bottom of the pit. That ladder is also the way out of the pit. Drop into a tunnel and go east. Pick up red shotgun shells and a shotgun. Go north and enter the pit.
Go to the skeleton on the pit floor. Wait there and shoot a T-rex that appears. Go east and use a flare to find a dark black tunnel. Go to the end of the dark tunnel. Pick up grenade flash ammo, grenade super ammo, grenade normal ammo, grenade gun and a Gold Dragon for secret #12. Turn around and go to the end of the tunnel. I found it helps to throw a few flares so you can see where the enemies are. Shoot three T-rexes with the shotgun. No other weapon seemed to hurt them. Or you can try to outrun them to the exit. Go to the south-west corner and enter the entrance tunnel. Climb the ladder to the top. Pull up into a tunnel. Go to the end and drop down on the ledge. Shoot a spider and go north to find the zip line again.
Grab the zip line and slide down to land on a ledge. Shoot the tiger before it pushes you off the cliff. At the edge of the cliff, jump north-west to land on a column in the pit. Pick up M16 explosive ammo and a M16. Go back to the cliff edge and go south-east into the next cave. You see a closed door in the south wall. Shoot three bats that are flying around. To the west is a fire in front of another cave. To the left of that cave you can see a block leading up to an opening. Climb the block and the next blocks to reach a timed wall switch. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of doors opening. Roll and run out of the tunnel. Loop to the left and run around the fire. Sprint west to the back wall of the building. Go south and sprint through the open doors. The doors close behind you.
You are in a dark red colored room. Go south around the columns and get a flyby of the room. When the flyby is done, a dragon appears from the first lava trench. The dragons can be killed but be careful of the fireballs. I jumped over the trenches to get behind the dragon on the second platform. The third platform is a deadly fire trap. You can use pistols to shoot the dragon from behind and its fireballs do not reach you. The dragon explodes and another two dragons appear behind you. I jumped over the trenches to the entrance area and used explosive M16 ammo to destroy them. Or, you stand near a side wall on the middle platform and use grenades and still be out of range of the fireballs. Run and jump onto the middle platform. Stand on the fancy tile at the west wall. This makes the third platform safe after the dragons are destroyed. Run onto the third platform and then into the final corner platform. Turn around and shoot a fourth dragon in the last trench.
Pick up the Dagger of Xian from the pedestal. You get a cut scene of the light spiral. The gate opens in the upper south-east corner. Follow the tunnel to a wall switch. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of the closed entrance doors. Reset the wall switch and get a cut scene of the entrance doors opening. Exit the tunnel and jump the lava trenches again. Exit through the open doors. Go through the building and carefully jump around the fire. Go south to see the light spiral on a block. Pull up onto the block and the level ends.
