The author's enclosed FAQ really
explains almost everything you need to know. I took the author's advice and did
not kill anything that I could avoid so I could save the harpoons for a final
battle. I also noted how many harpoons you get with each pickup. All directions
are given with respect to the dirigible’s bow.
Start by falling on top the dirigible
and looking at a helicopter. If you wait it will land in front of you. Run
around the rudder to the left to pick up a large Medi pack (1), flares (2) and 3 harpoons (3). You are attacked by three vultures
(1,2,3) but you cannot kill them, as you have no
weapons yet. Be careful as they can push you off onto the horizontal stabilizer
and you are stuck, as there is no way down. Ignore them and run to the bow of
the dirigible. Turn around and slide back to drop onto a platform with a worker
on it. Turn left, hop back and grab the edge before the worker pushes you off.
Climb down the mooring mast to the ground level. There is a green health
crystal in the trees to the right of the bow but save it for later. Follow the
right side of the dirigible and notice a closed door needing a keycard.
Continue against the fence and Lara looks down at a keycard under a grate with
a skeleton. Turn right and go behind the rear engines and Lara notices a key in
the left rear engine cowling. Go to the back corner of the area to the
buildings.
The building has a doorway with a stuck
lift. Go down the stairs into the washroom area and notice a lock on the wall.
Light a flare and find a large Medi pack (4) below a crawlspace. The crawlspace is an exit for later. Go to
the end of the room and pick up a harpoon gun (5) with 33 harpoons. Two dogs (4,5) attack but I just ran up the stairs to the outside and they did
not follow. Go back to the bow and climb the mooring mast. Kill the worker (6) and take the Passenger Cabin Card (6) that he drops.
Back down to the keycard reader on the dirigible side. Use it and the door
opens. Go inside to the front and notice another keycard reader on the wall
behind the co-pilot's chair. Go to the back of the cabin. Run in front of the
bottom of the stairs and a chair is thrown at you. Now pick up the small Medi pack (7) and 12 harpoons (8) from the stairs bottom. Run up the
stairs a kill a guard (7). Notice a closed latch above the stairs. Go to the rear of the
cabin and pull the right switch to shut off the left rear engine. The other
three switches cause a fire that kills you. Go to the engine cowling and pick
up the Goods Lift Key (9). Go back to the washroom area.
Use the key on the lock and the lift in
the building doorway drops so you can enter the building. You get a cut scene
of a motor running. Go up the ramp and avoid the moving cranes. Ignore the
stuff on the floor and go forward to kill a guard (8) hiding around the corner. This stops
the cranes so you can pick up a small Medi pack (10) and 3 harpoons (11). Climb the box at the back wall and drop to the right side of it.
Walk to the end avoiding the barbed wire. Climb up onto another box and shoot
out the grating on the left wall. Get into the hole and jump up to a monkey
swing to get over the flames. As you are doing this, a guard shoots at you.
Keep to the left or right but not the centre of the monkey swing. At the end
drop and kill the guard (9). Pick up flares (12) that he drops and 3 harpoons (13). Shoot out the grating at the back wall and go inside for a crowbar (14). The motor will stop
as well. Get back and use the crowbar to open the locked door. Use the green
health crystal if needed. Arrange the blocks as shown in the diagram included
by the author and enter the new area. You may get a cut scene of the crawlspace
in the washroom area while doing this.
Crawl down into the sewer area and go
to the end to see a dead body in the water. Dive into the water and swim to the
right. Two crocodiles attack from a right tunnel. Go the left tunnel for a large Medi pack (15). Flip and swim
to the tunnel the crocodiles came from. At the junction there is an underwater
switch to the left for later. For now turn right and go to the end. Pull up and
kill a rat (10) and pick up 3 harpoons (16). Jump to the ladder on the opposite wall and climb up. Kill two rats (11,12) before they push
you off. Enter the crawlspace to pick up a small Medi pack (17) and the Bow Door Card (18). Drop into the
water, avoid the two crocodiles (13,14) and swim to the underwater lever. Use it to open a gate at the
tunnel end. Swim there and pull up into a green health crystal. Jump to the
ladder and pull up. Kill the three rats (15,15,17) as they will hinder you in your next task. Pull the switch on the
wall and get into the crawlspace. Get to the other side and jump over the
water, grab the ladder and climb up. Go through the door before it closes.
Enter the crawlspace and drop into the washroom. Avoid the dogs and run up the
stairs.
Go behind the co-pilot's seat and use
the keycard. You get a cut scene of the bow door opening. Go back to the
mooring mast and climb up. Crawl through the bow door and drop to the floor.
Climb the ladder on the side and get onto a beam. Go to the right and see a
switch in an alcove on the right. Use the switch to raise a platform at the bow
door to help when leaving. Use the ledges and ladders to get to the beam at the
rear. Pick up the Cabin Door Battery (19). Go to the bottom section to use the battery in the device near the
floor. You get a cut scene of the latch above the stairs dropping. Go to the
forward end and pick up 15 harpoons (20) and climb the ladder. Use the rear ladder to climb higher and get
back to the bow. Use the platform to crawl out. Go down the mooring mask and
into the cabin. Go up the stairs and climb into the latch that closes behind
you.
Climb the right wall and run to the
back. There is a ladder on the back pillar. Climb the pillar and jump over the
right side as you face the green health crystal. Run for the beam and notice a
clock on the wall. Get the health crystal and then run to the back on the left
side to pick up 30 harpoons (21). Go back to the beam where the green health crystal was and the boss (18) appears on the beam opposite you. He
will throw fireballs at you but he is slow. I stood in the middle of the beam
and shot some harpoons. As he fired, I side jump to one side. Wait a few
seconds when the fire lands where you were standing before you jump back to
fire again. There is a delay and you can still catch fire if you flip back too
soon. You can see the hits as red dots around the boss's body. The author
states that it takes about 20 hits. It took me a lot more (bad shot, I guess).
The first play through, I ran out of harpoons before the boss died so I lost.
The second time I had 6 harpoons left when he died. He dies in a big yellow
explosion and leaves behind a key. Go to the left side to get to the other
beam. Pick up the Bomb Clock Eraser Key (22). You get a cut scene of the clock. Go there and use the key and the
level ends with the statistics information. Hit a key and watch for the
fantastic closing picture credits.
