TR3 - UNITED STATES 1: THE
WALKTHROUGH BY JOSE
We begin at what seems to be the main
door of the mansion, it is guarded by two guards who its
seems will not hurt us. At the moment leave the door and go left to the garden.
Crossing a large fence-wall that goes from the house to the
wall. We enter a large area with low fog. If we go towards the patches
of grey wall on the left, we will find that near the corner there is a secret,
secret #1. Advance some more and you will also find another present. Continue
advancing along the wall against the house until you arrive at a circle of
white flowers and another fence-wall. Before we cross it, notice that we can
climb up the right side to find secret #2. Lower and see a pool that is covered
by a grate and has fish in it. Keep moving to arrive at a small door in the
wall of the house it is unlocked. Enter. We are inside the kitchen of the
mansion. Go to the refrigerator chamber and enter by pressing the button so
that you can pick up a present. Go left to move towards an area of bookshelves
by the opening to the right. Cross the small carpet, go towards the right
(towards the left is the bookshelves with the puzzle), to the right of the
grand piano are shelves with books where one is sticking out. We activate it
and a camera shows us a door, which was disguised in the middle of a bookshelf
but is not open yet (we still have 2 more books to activate). Now we must go to
the main hall, where there are some stairs. On the ground floor there is a
dining room that has an enormous carpet and table with 6 chairs. In one of the
corners of the dinning room there is a bookshelf where we can find a present,
and in one of the other corners a small bookshelf where a book sticks out ready
to be activated. If we advance a little, leaving the dinning room, we will find
at the end of a corridor a pack of flares, a SEMIC man and in the wall at the
bottom, music apparatus that if activated plays the TR3 theme to brighten the
journey. Now go towards the main hall and climb the stairs towards the large
plant. When at the top go to the hollow of the left to arrive
in a room where the door is camouflaged in the book wall. To the right
near the door the third book is ready to be activated and the door will open.
Enter and pick up the present. At the end, descend the metallic stairs until
you reach a grey area with several columns, tables with PC's and wooden boxes.
By moving the boxes properly, we will be able to reach secret #3 which is
underneath the box in the corner, stuck to a column. In the opposite side of
the area there is a hole in the ground by which we can lower. We walk a little
until we each an area similar to the previous one.
Entering the left, behind a box in the corner we found revolver bullets and
another box in the centre of the area. Go to the following room and in the
centre under a green diamond you will find a present. To the right gather a
medic kit and press the button to see a door in an area of the garden, open.
Return through all the passages to the main entrance and leave the mansion by
going left. Going back to where we found the first 2 secrets, gathering on the
way presents one at the start of the trip and one at the end near the front
door to the labyrinth of fences where there is a green diamond. Enter the
labyrinth. The labyrinth of fences: The picture included is very clear. It is
enough to always advance towards the left to a small entrance, which you have
to crouch down to enter. Once inside climb a large slab and looking up you can
see the combination of the puzzle room (near the kitchen). Go left and always
left arriving by the iron door that is near the small outer door by where we
entered the mansion at the start. Also receive a present near a flowerpot
stand. We enter the kitchen again towards the left you find the bookshelves
with the puzzle. Press the combination obtained in the labyrinth and see that a
door has opened to the right of the stairs in the main hall. Enter and go down
the flight of stairs in a hollow. Fall on a box and find a present. When
picking it up a picture of a SEMIC guard is shown to us in an area we have
already been in (the cellars of the mansion), return there again and kill the
guard. When he dies he leaves a handle, return again to the garden, where there
is a chapel. Enter the chapel and in one of its corners find a key. When taking
it we see that an iron door has opened, that gives access to a garage where
there is a SEMIC van, next to the source. Enter and kill the rats; find the
second key behind a column and a present next to one of the flowerpot stands.
With 2 keys enter the mansion again, climb the stairs and go by the opening of
the right to reach a door with two locks. Before entering there is a music
chain that we can activate to listen to another song to brighten the level.
Enter the office and next to the window we can obtain more presents. Near the
table in the ground here is a parchment. Pick it up and the level finishes.

Note: depending on the way you're playing Lara Croft Regresa, you might find that when you start this level all
your ammunition and additional pickups will be gone. This is pretty much
intentional.
The level starts in front of the Mansion. Head left, past the hedge and pick up
the SECRET #1 (small Medi pack) in the corner. Keep running across the garden
until you reach an area with red bricks, a little before the fenced pond. Climb
up to the top of the hedge and retrieve SECRET #2 (large Medi pack). The kitchen door
will open as you approach it. Get in. Zoom past the library until the piano
room and pull the first of three books in the shelf near the frame on the wall.
Head to the other wing of the mansion, in the dining room, and pull the second
book near the plant. Walk up to the second floor and, on your left, get inside
another library and pull the last book behind the couch. A hallway will open, walk through it to reach the SEMIC offices. Pull out
the crates to pick up SECRET #3 (small Medi pack). Drop through the hole in the corner and push
the button in the room with the crystal, this will open the door to the hedgy
maze. Return all the way to the main hall and exit the house via the front
doors. Head left, running past Alexia's statue, and eventually you'll reach a
crystal. Get it and walk into the maze. Your objective is to find the correct
button sequence, a clue hidden inside this maze. See attached map. Get back
into the house (through kitchen door) and head left to find the buttons. Push
the buttons following the sequence you saw in the maze (SPOILER: dot dot line dot line) to open the door beneath the stairs. Climb down the ladder and
pick up the Revolver. Climb back up
and head to the SEMIC offices, in the second floor. Kill the SEMIC soldier and
he'll drop you a CROWBAR. Back
outside in the yards, head left (past the statue...) and once you reach the
gravestones, use the crowbar in the blocked door behind them. Inside the
church, pick up the OFFICE KEY in
the left corner and head to the open garage, just behind the statue. Collect
the second OFFICE KEY and head to
the second floor of the house. On the right wing, use the two keys and pick up
the SCROLL in Frost's office.

Quickly rush into the mansion, head right and pick up the Revolver. Up on the second floor, get down to SEMIC offices, push the button in the end to open the hedgy maze (this time
around, the entrance is by the kitchen). Once inside, you're goal is to push
three buttons to open the treasure chamber beneath the stairs. See attached
map. Climb down the ladder in the treasure room and pull the book in the
shelves near the globe. Work your way to the second floor and jump inside the
bedrooms. Pick up the MAINTENANCE KEYS
in the bathtub and get back down to the room with the globe. Use the key behind
it to open a trapdoor in the bathroom, work your way back up there... Jump over the crates and, in the end, push
the button to open a door back in the room with the globe. That's where you
have to go to now. Swim past the door and push the button within the alcove in
the end. Get outside and head to the church in the yard. Pick up the KEY on the ground and, before going
out, head to the far right corner and drop through the hole to find SECRET #1 (flares). Outside, keep going to the right until you find a van
and a ramp: walk up to the opening at the top. Monkey swing over the spikes and
carefully drop to the lower red column, where you'll collect SECRET #2 (ammo). Work your way back into the mansion. Drop through the
broken ground in the dining room (well, it was one, once) and run to the
helicopter. Our short trip to the
