TR3 - A TRAVEL IN TIME 1: A HAPPY ACCIDENT by DAVID RUKAWA

Lara seems to have a thermos permanently attached to her hand. Go left and press the pushbutton on the wall to open the door. Go in to pick up a small Medi pack (1) from a box. Exit and go to the washroom. There is a shotgun (2) in the bath. If I picked it up, Lara grew and extra head from her shoulder. If the shotgun was selected, Lara got the jitters. Reminds me of an old horror picture. I ignored the shotgun. Exit and go to the windows to pick up flares (3). Go down the stairs and go left and into the kitchen. Press the pushbutton to open the door. Go outside into a garden and pick up a golden rose (4) [secret #1]. At the far wall are MP5 clips (5). Return and go right at the stairs to a pushbutton. Press it to open the door and go outside. Press the pushbutton by the gate.  Turn around and at the junction go straight to the end and turn right. Climb down the hole in the wall. Look around the pool for a large Medi pack (6) and a golden rose (7) [secret #2]. Return and take the other junction into a hole and follow a tunnel to a room. I ignored the man standing there since he didn't shoot. Run towards the book on the stand and the levels ends.

TR3 - A TRAVEL IN TIME 2: CONVICTS TUNNELS by DAVID RUKAWA

Lara has lost the thermos. Approach the door and it opens. There are three closed doors. Go to the left one and pull the switch and the door opens. Go inside and jump on the ledge in back. Go to the right and enter a door. Follow to a room and climb a ladder. At the top enter a room to pick up the first pillar (1). Return to the ledge room and this time go down the ramp. At the end jump to the blocks on the left and to the back wall. Look up to a place you can pull up into. First pull your guns and jump up and down to kill the four thugs (1,2,3,4,) from below so they cause no damage. Pull up and pick up the second pillar (2) from the floor. Get down to the closed door and pick up a large Medi pack (3). The doors needs two pillars so use them and the doors open. Pull the switch at the back wall to get a cut scene of the doors in the first room opening.

 

Go through those doors and follow to an outside area.  Go down the hill into the water and swim through a tunnel and pull up into a room with a closed door. There are two tubes on the right wall. Stand on the left one to pull up into a space where there is a switch. Pull up to the right since that cylinder keeps pushing you off. Pull the switch and the closed door opens. Get down and go through the door to get a blue gem (4). Swim back to outside area, go back up the hill and down into the three-door area. Use the gem and the door opens. Enter a room with a fountain, a door needing a gem, a closed door to the right, a fake wooden door to the left, a ramp to a closed door, and an opening in the wall left of the fountain near the round steps. Go through this opening and follow to a room with ramps. Stop in an alcove on the left to pick up a pillar (5). Continue up the ramps into an opening. Follow to a large room. Run around to collect four thugs (5,6,7,8) and run back out so you kill them with little damage when they follow you. They died near a closed door at the end of a ramp. I was on the floor shooting up at them.

 

Go back to the room. There are four columns, a closed door in the left corner, and a switch on the right rear column. Pull the switch and the door opens. Go in and up some stairs to the left. Down the hall, through the water to a door on the left side. It opens so go to the end and pull the switch. You get a cut scene of the door near the dead thugs opening. So quickly run back there and face a walkway. Go to the other side and through the large hall to a twisting corridor at the end to the right. Go left and pick up a small Medi pack (6). Continue to a room with a green floor. Follow the twisting corridor to a room with a closed door on the left. Go the right and pull a switch. You get a cut scene of a door opening in the fountain room. Go to the closed door on the left and it opens. Go in for a golden rose (7) [secret #1]. Now back to the fountain room.

 

Go in the open door and a single thug (9) attacks. Go to the right and climb a ladder down into a hole. It is rather linear through a room and corridor to a dead end with a closed door on the right. To the left alcove is a switch. Pull the switch and get a cut scene of a door opening. Go back to the pool room and up the ramp to the now open door. Go through the rooms to a switch. Pull it to get a cut scene of the closed door that you just left opening. Go there and enter the room to pick up a blue gem (8). Back to the fountain room and to the closed door that needed it. Use the gem to open the door and go through the room with the sarcophagus. Go down a corridor and slide down to end the level.

TR3 - A TRAVEL IN TIME 3: TUTANKAMON'S PYRAMID by DAVID RUKAWA

Slide down in an area with many masked blue guards that ignore Lara. They are useful so do not kill them. To the immediate right there is an area with nothing to find. Go straight, turn right and right again into an opening with two closed doors and a place for a cartouche. Back to the slide area and go left this time past the blue guards. In the left corner is an alcove with a small Medi pack (1). Go through the opening between two statues. There is a closed gate on the right with the item you need behind it. The gate ahead opens as you approach it. There is another closed gate to the right but go straight and follow to a hole. Go in and follow to the end to collect four red enemies (1,2,3,4). Run back to the hole and pull up. They can be killed from there. Go back and to the end. On a right wall is a wheel. Use it and a door at the very end opens. Go into a room with a pool.

 

Dive in swim left and then right into an underwater tunnel. At the other side swim through a flooded room and pull up in front of a corridor. Follow it and enter a room with waterfalls in front of three areas that hold nothing. Kill the crocodile (5), dive into the middle water trench and swim down some inclines and up into a room. The room is empty except for a wheel on the wall. Use it to get a cut scene of the gate opening back where you entered this area. Go back there, through the gate, and follow around to pick up the cartouche (6). The gate opens in front of you. Go to the other area and use the cartouche. The door to the right opens. Go inside and up some stairs to a corridor with a closed gate. On the left wall is a wheel. Use it the other closed-door downstairs opens. Go there to use another wheel and gate upstairs opens. As you go there, the blue guards will kill a red enemy (7) for you. Go back up the stairs and enter a room. There is a closed door to the right needing two Vaeruses. In the middle is a block over a pit with water at the bottom. To the left are stairs going up and a ladder into the pit.

 

Go up the stairs and pick up a small Medi pack (8). Continue to a ledge overlooking the pit. Wait there as two blue guards follow you of the stairs. But they got stuck on the stairs just before the ledge. Go around the ledge and two red enemies (9,10) appear. Go back to the blue guards and they will follow and the blue guards will kill them. Go around the ledge to enter a room with a twisted floor. Climb the ladder at the end and pick up a large Medi pack (11). Turn around to face a closed door and an upper alcove. Jump to the alcove and follow some steps to an area with hanging yellow platforms. Use the platforms to get to the door at the far left. As you enter two red enemies (12,13) appear. No blue guards here to help so you have to kill them yourself. Go to where they came from and into a crawlspace. Follow it to a blue block next to a blue square. It should be obvious what needs to be done. Go back to the outside of the crawlspace and climb two blocks. Jump to grab a high walkway. Go around to a ladder and up. Follow the walkway into a tunnel and get down to the bottom to push the blue block. Go all the back and into the crawlspace and push the blue block to the floor tile. You get a cut scene of the closed gate over the twisted floor opening so go there.

 

Go in the door and slide down to a ledge. Follow the ledge left to a ladder. Climb it to a crawlspace. Go in and finally stand up in front of a wheel. Use it to get a cut scene of an underwater gate rising. Get down to the pit with the block and go into the water. Swim into the tunnel there and surface in a room. Pick up a Vaerus (12) from the floor and swim back to the pit. In the pit there is a Vaerus (13) in shallow water. There is also a small Medi pack (14) to pick up. Exit the pit and use the Vaeruses to open the doors. As you run into the black the level ends.

TR3 - A TRAVEL IN TIME 4: SLAVE'S VALLEY by DAVID RUKAWA

Slide down a small slope flanked by two friendly blue guards. Just follow the valley and into a short cave. Enter the doorway to your immediate right and kill two dogs (1,2). Run up the stairs to pull a wheel and get a cut scene of a tunnel door opening. Exit and turn to your right and come to an open are with three ways to go. Ahead are two large closed doors. To the right is a pool that leads to a valley. The third way is to the left into a cave. In the cave find an opening in a wall and a crawl space and start crawling. At the end, stand up and just follow the tunnel to a temple-like area. Continue to go up some stairs and find a crawl space to the left. Pull up and crawl and finally drop down in front of a switch. Pull the switch and get a cut scene of a door opening and a scissors trap. That is all to do here so exit back to the cave and then to the outside area. To the right of the small water puddle you can find a small medipack (1). From there look to the upper building wall and see an opening. Climb the rock beside the door and the jump to the rocks on the right and jump into that opening. Get into the crawl space to the left. At the end stand up, turn around and climb into an opening to pick up a Pharos Pillar (2). Exit back to the ground level.

 

Go into the third direction towards the valley but there is nothing in the water. In the valley you see an opening to a tunnel to your right. Enter it and follow to a hole. Jump into a left alcove for a small medipack (3) and a Golden Rose (4) [secret #1]. From here use a climbable wall and climb down into the hole. Follow the cave and at the end find a Blue Gem (5). Return to climb up and exit the tunnel back to the open valley. Immediately go straight across the valley floor and climb the blocks to the top to pick up a Key (6). Return to the valley floor and go back to the big doors. Hop to the block on the left to use the key to open the door. Carefully go through the two scissor traps and the open door. Follow the tunnel to go up some stairs and finally into a room. Use the Pharos Pillar and a door opens in the wall. Go in there and use a switch to get a cut scene of a closed door somewhere. Exit back outside and go left to continue in the earlier valley to a closed door. Use the Blue Gem to open the door. Go inside and see the closed door and a switch very high up in a corner. Go the room corner beside the door and pull out a movable block. Move it into a break in the ledge with the high switch. Hop on the ledge and follow to the end to find another movable block. Pull it out and move it along the ledge until it is underneath the switch. The blocks are hard to see since they match the wall. Pull the switch and the door opens.

 

Enter the door and loop around to the right and get into a tunnel. Drop down to face columns with fire on them. Go left and into a tunnel. The middle block in the left wall is push able. Push it in two times and turn left for a switch. Pull the switch and get a cut scene of the fires going out. Climb back out of the tunnel and jump the three columns to reach sand dunes on the other side of the deadly water. Go left to the corner and pull up into a crawl space. Follow to a room and run down a ramp and enter another room with a wire-grid floor. Pull a switch on the wall to get a cut scene of a door opening. Go back, up the ramp, through the crawl space, over the columns, and back to the first room. Go towards the big doors and see a crawl space on the left ledge. Crawl in there to the end to pick up a Blue Gem (7). Exit and use the Blue Gem to open the big doors. Slide down the slope and through a crawl space at the floor to the left. On the other side are two closed doors. Light a flare and look up behind you for a crawl space. Crawl in and pick up a Key (8). Get back out and use the key to open a door. Go into the room and get beside the mine cart. Do not get into the cart. You can but you cannot stop so you crash and die. Now exit here and the other door should be open. I think the key actually opened both doors. Just run with stand jumps down the tunnel and pull up to the right into a cave-like area.

 

Go around the ledge and into the opening on the far wall. Follow the tunnel to pick up a Golden Rose (9) [secret #2] off a platform. Go back and dive into the water. Swim down to find a hole in the wall. On the other side swim down a little and to the right and see a very small opening between two vertical columns to your right. Swim the very difficult channel, through a doorway and pull up into a cave. Follow the cave to kill two dogs (3,4) and reach a switch. Pull the switch and get a cut scene of an underwater door opening. Swim back and find the door at the bottom of the far wall. Swim through the tunnel and pull up into a room. Go to the end and up a ramp. At the top, turn right and pull up into a corridor. Follow the corridor to pick up a small medipack (10) and a Pharos Pillar (11). Return and swim back through the door. When you do, swim up and turn around to swim into a tunnel to the left. At the end pull up and kill a dog (5). Use the Pharos Pillar and the door opens. Enter and slide down the slope into a room with water. Pull up to the left ledge. Enter a tunnel and follow it to a room. Go to the back and up a ramp to pick up a large medipack (12). Continue to slide back into the room and kill a dog (6). Exit here and follow the ledge to enter the second tunnel. Follow the tunnel through a room with sand and into another tunnel. As you slide down into a cave the level ends.

 

To get the next level, I just hit RETURN when the globe appeared flashing on South Pacific.

TR3 - A TRAVEL IN TIME 5: DAMON'S TEMPLE by DAVID RUKAWA

You start in front of a temple and the doors are closed. Look on the wall to the left of the door for a switch. Pull the switch and the door opens. Enter and climb down the ladder in the pit in front of you. Follow the tunnel to a wheel. Turn the wheel and the walls around you rise up out of your way. From the wheel go forward through a doorway between two pictures. The wall drops again cutting you off from the wheel. Go down the corridor there and see a closed door. But look up to your left for a crawl space in the wall. Crawl in there and pick up a Blue Gem (1). Exit and go to the right, around the throne, and into another doorway. At the closed door, hop into an alcove to the right. Use the Blue Gem and the door besides you opens. Most of the floor tiles are deadly fire. I saw nothing to indicate a way but by trial and many errors a path can be found as:

Where S is safe, D is deadly and W is a wall. The second jump from the entrance is the hardest. Try to get right back against the wall for a diagonal run and jump. Pull the switch in the alcove and get a cut scene of the other door opening. Carefully jump back to the entrance and use a jump with grab to clear the doorway. Now go to the other tunnel and the open door. Enter the room and pull a switch to get a cut scene of the trap doors near the throne opening. Go there and drop into either trap door. Follow the tunnel to see a closed double door. Go around the column and into a tunnel. Enter a room and a door drops behind you. Run to the opposite wall, pull a switch, and then run to you left into an opening as a spike wall follows you. When you are safely inside, climb a ladder and follow the passage. Go into the first opening to the left. Hop in the right alcove for a small medipack (2). Jump across to the other alcove and pull a switch. You get a cut scene of the double doors opening. Get down and continue along the passage and enter an alcove on the left. Pull the switch and hear a trap door drop. Go to the end of the passage and climb down the ladder. Roll and run out and turn right into the open double doors. Enter the tunnel at the end. Look up to the right for a crawl space. However it contains nothing so just continue down the tunnel. Enter a room and go to the left. Go up the ramp and jump to grab a ladder. Climb and back flip to a ledge. Go to the opposite corner where you see a ladder. Climb the ladder to the roof and the level ends.

TR3 - A TRAVEL IN TIME 6: KNOSSOS RUINES by DAVID RUKAWA

Start in front of a door and Lara has changed clothes for this level. Run forward and towards the left toward a pool of water. Kill two ninjas (1,2) at either side of the room. Pick up Uzi's (1) from one of them. Dive into the water and into an opening in a wall near the bottom. Then swim up and to the right and at the end pull an underwater lever. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Swim to the top of the tunnel and look for a crawl space near the ceiling. Swim inside for a Golden Rose (2) [secret #1] (although it did not seem to register as a secret). Swim back and climb up to kill another ninja (3). Pull up near the column, as Lara seems to ignore the triangular segments. Go to the other end of the corridor and pull back a movable block to a rather obvious position. The door opens behind you. Enter and pull a switch and get a cut scene of a door opening back where you killed a ninja. Go there and enter to find the open door from the pool cut scene. Pull the switch and get a cut scene of the large door at the start opening. Enter there and you are on a high ledge with four closed doors.

 

Drop down one level and pull back the movable block. Jump into the tunnel and follow to a room. Kill a ninja (4) who drops the Desert Eagle (3).  Hop into the alcove and pull the switch to get a cut scene of a door opening on the top level. Get back to the level and push the movable block so you can climb on it to reach the top level. Get up there and go into the open door. Climb up and then down some blocks. Follow the tunnel to a room and kill two ninjas (5,6). Position the movable block into the opposite corner so you can access an upper opening. You follow the tunnel to an octagonal room. Pick up Key #1 (4) from the floor and go back to the top-level ledge. Go down a few levels until you are even with a tunnel in a wall. Enter the tunnel and at the end kill a ninja (7). Use the switch and get a cut scene of another top-level door opening.

 

Climb back to the top level and enter the new door. Go to the back left wall and enter a short tunnel. Pick up grenades (5), a large medipack (6), and a Golden Rose (7) [secret #2]. Dive into the water and swim down the underwater tunnel. Pull up and kill two ninjas (8,9) and pick up Key #2 (8) from the floor. Exit the room and swim back and go to the top level. Get down a few levels and enter another tunnel. Kill two ninjas (10,11) and pull a movable block from the wall. Enter the tunnel and pull a wall switch to get a cut scene of another top-level door opening. Go back to the top level and enter that new door. Climb the ladder and back flip at the top. Kill the three ninjas (12,13,14) and move the blocks to pick up Key #3 (9). Be sure to push the three blocks into the three corners of the room. One ninja died on a block and when it was moved, the body stayed floating in air. The door in a wall opens behind you so go there. Enter and then back up while you kill two raptors (15,16). In the room they came from, pick up three Uzi ammo (10,11,12), one in each corner. Enter the corridor and enter the next room and hear a T-rex (17). Let him follow you back up to the room with the blocks. From there you can jump up and down and shoot him in safety. When he is dead, go back to the room that he came from.

 

Go to the back of the room and loop to the left to find a wall switch. Use it and get a cut scene of a large door opening. Go inside and follow the corridors to a room. Go behind the large block to find a ladder. Climb up two levels and back flip to the top floor. Pick up MP5 ammo (13), Desert Eagle ammo (14), and a small medipack (15). Climb down and back flip to the middle floor. Go to the font of the floor that overlooks the room below. Run and jump to the ledge to the left. Follow this area around to another ladder. At the top back flip to the floor. Go around the area to kill two raptors (18,19) and find a switch in a corner. Pull the switch and get a cut scene of the entrance door to this area opening. So go there, down ladders, jump the gap, down ladders, pass dead dinosaurs, and down the ladder. If the door is still closed, go back and use the switch again. You get the same cut scene and when you return it should be open.

 

Now go to the very bottom of the room. Look for a switch and use it to get a cut scene of the last door opening at the top level. Climb back up there and enter the doorway. Go up the stairs and go to the left. Just follow the corridors to the end. Kill the three ninjas (20,21,22) and pick up Uzi ammo (16). Pull out the movable blocks and get into the alcove and find a switch. Use the switch and get a cut scene of the large doors opening. Go back there and kill a ninja (23) and pick up Key #4 (17). Exit and get down to the ground floor again. Use the four keys and the large door behind you opens. Enter and run down the corridor and the level ends.

TR3 - A TRAVEL IN TIME 7: THE PRISONS by DAVID RUKAWA

As soon as the door opens, kill a ninja (1) that attacks you. Then enter the room and pick up a small medipack (1) on the floor to your left. You cannot get into any of the prison cells yet so get into the opening at the back wall. Dive into the water and swim down into a short tunnel. Swim into a large pool and pull up on a ledge. You have a firefight and kill four ninjas (2-5). In one corner of the pool you can pick up a Golden Rose (2) but the author says that there are no secrets. When you pulled up onto the ledge a door opened opposite your entrance tunnel. Find that door and enter the room. Go behind a column to pull a switch. Exit and kill a ninja (6). Go to the right and find the newly opened door. Follow the corridor to a central column with a door on one side. Follow another corridor to a ladder. Climb up and back flip at the top. Follow the corridor to a switch. Pull the switch and return back down the ladder. Go to the central column and the door is open. Pull the switch inside and get a cut scene of a prison cell door opening. Get out of the room, back into the water and swim back to the cells. Get into the cell and go up the steps behind it. Go left and into another cell. Kill two ninjas (7,8) and pick up a large medipack (3). Exit and go left again and pull up into a room.

 

Pull the switch on the wall and get a cut scene of another prison cell opening. Roll and slide down a hole back to the start area. Enter the newly open cell and pick up grenades (4) in a corner. Enter the back stairs and go left to the next cell. Pick up a Desert Eagle (5) and Desert Eagle ammo (6). Return and go straight at the stairs to pull up into a room. Follow to another room and hop into a tunnel at the back wall. Follow the tunnel to the end. Pull a switch and get a cut scene of the tall door opening back in the cell area. Get back there and kill a ninja (9). Turn left and go through the open tall door. Slide down, fall, and slide down some more. At the end of the slide, jump to a column. Turn right and jump to two more columns.  Side jump to the right, slide, jump, slide, slide and jump to a pillar in a corner. Use a ladder to climb down to the ground floor. At the bottom, notice a closed door. Go right to kill two ninjas (10,11). On the side of a column use the switch to open that door. Enter the room and see a ladder in the middle of the back wall. First pull out a block from ahead of you. Get into the room behind it and move another block into an alcove. Go to the right corridor and pull another block out of the way. Go down the corridor and push in a block. Go behind it and down the corridor and push another block. Finally, a switch is revealed. Pull the switch and get a cut scene of the trap door at the top of the ladder opening.

 

Leave this area and climb the ladder to the top and face two large doors. Go left and kill two ninjas (12,13) who ambush you from the corners. Climb a short ladder and climb a block onto a walkway. Follow the walkway, jump a gap, and continue to a tunnel. Go in and kill a ninja (14) and find a switch at the end. Use the switch and get a cut scene of the large doors opening. Get down and enter the open doors and the level ends.
