1. I ran this level in a temporary directory and not in the Last Revelation directory. For this reason, I think that the FMV's did not show up. They may work with the TRLevelManager but I do not use it. However, they can be viewed using Windows Media Player if you are curious.

2. The reviews and forums noted a few bugs. I included savegames for some difficult areas that were noted. You have to rename the savegame files to use them. ( Download ZIP file with all the savegames here )

You start by sliding down a snowy slope. Run west and find the building. Hop onto the south lowest block. Stand jump into the south-west opening. Grab the inside edge and shimmy to the right. Pull up into the next opening and pick up shotgun shells. Drop into the outside snowy area. Hop onto the north lowest block. Stand jump into the north-west opening. Grab the inside edge and shimmy to the left. Pull up into the next opening and pick up a large medipack. Drop into the outside snowy area. Climb the block again and enter the building in the center opening.

 

You face a pool of deadly water with some platforms on it. You get a message that "The grates seem like they could be lit". There is a rope hanging from the ceiling. Hop down on the platform below you and be careful of the fire. Jump the platforms and get to the platform at the west wall in front of a wall ladder. Pick up a torch and jump back to the fire and light the torch.

 

Jump the platforms to reach the north ledge. Light the grate in the north-east corner and in the middle. You get a cut scene of the rope and the ladder. You cannot seem to break out of the cut scenes. Jump the platforms to reach the south ledge. Light the grate in the south-west corner and in the middle. You get a cut scene of the rope and the ladder. And you see a door opening behind it. Drop the torch and go to the ladder and climb up. Go through the open door into a small room. Walk forward to a hole in the floor. Climb down a ladder and go west.

 

You enter a cave area with a building to the south. Enter the building and go to back and to the left. You see a water pool. The water is cold and deadly. Drop into the water and swim under the building. Follow the underwater tunnel into a cave. Swim to the immediate right and stand up on a slope in the water. Go north and into a dark room. On either side of the room is a water trench and closed doors at the far end. Go up either set of side steps to the upper floor. Go south to the middle of the bridge and pick up a torch. Light the torch on the fire to the south. Go to the south wall and light two grates at the south wall.

 

Climb the pole between the grates. Back flip at the top into a dark room. Turn around and go to the north wall. Press a face button and get a very dark cut scene of a door opening somewhere. Slide down the pole to the room below. Pick up the torch again, or get a new torch and light it. Go down the steps and enter either open door at the end of the water trench. Stand jump up into an upper wall opening. Drop down on the other side. Light another grate near where you entered. Pull up north into a crawl space.

 

Crawl through and safety drop at the other end. You are in a large building with a river running through it. The water is deadly cold and has a current. Do not fall in. Stand jump north-east to a lower flat tile. Run and jump to the north-east flat tile over the river. Run and jump west to land on a column. Pick up the shotgun and jump back to the east flat tile. Stand jump to a north-east tile where you can stand. Stand jump again into a flat tile Press the face button on the wall. You get a cut scene of spikes in the river and many floating platforms. Shoot a bat that appears.

 

Continue jump to the east. At the south-east corner jump down and pick up a small medipack. Look north and you can see the area in the cut scene. Continue on the upper rocks and go north. When you are stuck, jump down to the north-east. Run and jump, north with a banana-type jump to the next flat area. Continue to the north wall. You do not need to jump the river at this point. You do that later. If you do jump, wolves will appear in the area below in the next room.

 

[Note] The following is my route. You may do things in different order. You can climb the wall and use the floor lever first. Jump in the river and be carried over the falls. Swim to the ledge and shoot the wolves and pick up the Teleporter Crystal on the way back up the floating platforms first. Then go for the two secrets. This method requires you to negotiate the floating platforms two times instead of three times, as I did. [End note]

 

Climb the blocks and drop into a hole in the north wall. Turn around and jump onto a block. Stand with your back to the wall. Stand jump east onto a lower floating platform. Run and jump north-east to a wedge-shaped platform. Go east to a floating block. Run to the north-east off the block to land on a platform. Pick up a Teleporter Crystal off the platform.

 

Look down to the south-east and see a green section in the east wall in the water. Dive into the water and swim through the green wall. The water will change so that the water is not deadly cold. Swim through some plants and then swim north under a low ceiling. Swim west and pull up onto a ledge. Crawl west and the camera view changes. Stand up and pick up the crossbow for secret #1. You can run back to the water without crawling. Swim back through the plants and into the cold water. Swim north and get out of the water as soon as possible. You may see some skeletons move out of your way on the steps.

 

You can see another room behind a crack in the north wall. Pull up onto the only available floating platform. Run and jump south-west onto the next platform. Run and jump east to a floating block. Aim for the left side of the block. Grab the ladder on the block and climb up. Run and jump west to grab the platform and pull up. Run and jump north-east to land on a platform. Run and jump north to grab a platform and pull up. Run and jump north-east to grab the top of a block and pull up. Aim for the right side. Run and jump south-west to grab the platform and pull up. Aim for the right side. Run and jump south-west to land on a platform. Run and jump east to land on a platform. Stand jump east to grab the platform where you got the crystal. Hop on a block and go to the next platform. Run and jump south-west to land on a platform. Stand jump west to grab the block. Run jump south to land in the alcove. Pull up back where you started.

 

Go down the blocks and jump over the river. You can look back into the next rooms and see the wolves walking around as you have just now activated them. Climb the blocks and shoot a bat. Go west and slide down. Run and jump south-west onto a flat area at the river edge. Stand jump east twice to get to the wall. Climb the wall ladder and back flip at the top. Go west and jump forward to grab the ceiling and monkey swing west. Drop and grab a crawl space. Crawl inside and stand up to use a floor lever. You get a cut scene of spikes popping in an underwater tunnel. Wait and shoot a bat. Crawl out and drop into the river. The current carries you to the end and over the falls. Swim to the area with the wolves. Shoot four wolves and run and jump all those floating platforms again.

 

Jump the river and return to the wall ladder and again. This time stand jump to the south. Run and jump down to the river edge. Follow the river edge and go around the corner and go west. You should see a tunnel in the north wall of the river. Jump over the river and swim into that tunnel. The water changes so it is not deadly. Pick up the Magnum for secret #2. Swim out into the river and let the current carry you over the falls again. Swim into the green wall where you found the first secret. Here you can get air and reset the yellow cold water bar. Swim back out and back to the area with the dead wolves. Run and jump all those floating platforms again for the third time.

 

Jump the river and climb the wall ladder and back again. Look south and see where the ceiling monkey swing dips down. You cannot see it but there a shallow V-shape in the ceiling at that point. That is the only place where you can monkey swing over the side ledges and drop down. At other locations, Lara will jump up and grab the monkey swing again. Jump to grab the monkey swing and go south. The camera view is changed to annoying to make it difficult. Go south to the dip and go to the left. Release and drop onto the ledge. <Savegame: buggy_ms_1_savegame.0>

 

Press a face button and turn around to see an open door on the other side. Wait and shoot a bat. Stand jump to grab the ceiling and monkey swing to the dip again. Drop on the other ledge and enter the open door. <Savegame: buggy_ms_2_savegame.1> You cannot get out of his door back onto the ledge. Go to the other side of the room and crawl to get out. Climb the steps and crouch down to get through a crawl space. Do not drop but shimmy to the left or right to land on a ledge. Look down the ceiling corridor and see many fire emitters and closed doors.

 

Jump to grab the ceiling and monkey swing west. Get pass the fire emitters and go into the right corner where the camera view becomes reasonable. You should see a green block. Release and grab the top of that block. Shimmy to the left around the corner and drop onto the ledge. <Savegame: fire_ms_savegame.4> Stand on the ledge and stand jump to the south across the gap. Do not use grab immediately or you will grab the monkey swing again. Delay the grab, and then grab the other ledge. <Savegame: face_button_1_savegame.5> Go to the left and press a face button.

 

Run and jump north-east and land on a ledge. Run and jump south-east and land in the open door. <Savegame: face_button_2_savegame.8>. Press the face button and turn around. Stand jump into the open door to the north. <Savegame: face_button_3_savegame.9> Press the face button and turn around. Run and jump diagonally onto the side ledges again and go west to the open doors. Run and jump into the water and pull up on the first ice floe. Jump the ice floes and finally jump into the water to pull up onto a platform with columns. <Savegame: after_floes_savegame.14> You can swim under the platform and pick up Magnum clips and a large medipack. You may need two trips to get them. There is a small medipack on a platform in the water at the west wall.

 

Go to the north-west corner and see a crystal on a platform .It is a death trap. Get near it and you hear a growl and the skeletons move. If you pick it up, you catch fire. Even if you make it to the water, the fire does not go out. Ignore it and go to the south-east corner and climb the ladder on the outside face of the column. Pull up onto a ledge with a building. Go north to the building. Drop and grab the side of the ledge. Shimmy to the right on a crevice and pull up into a crawl space. Stand up in a room. Pull back the skeleton and pick up a large medipack. Press the face button on the wall and the room shakes. Crawl out and drop onto the ledge.

 

The crystal on the pedestal is still a death trap. Climb the column ladder again to the top. Go west and pull up onto the roof of that building. Go west and grab the edge of the building and see an opening below you. I could not release and grab the ledge below. I took one step forward, jumped back, and used a delayed grab to glide into the opening. Go north into the next room. Shoot a wolf and go into the north-west corner. Place the crystal and the screen goes black. <Savegame: first_crystal_savegame.9>

 

A FMV should appear here showing the way down the river to the area behind the crack in the wall. If the screen is black, just wait.

 

Then the picture returns with Lara in a cave with a small temple. Go forward and notice the hole in the south wall. You can see the floating platforms area from earlier. Enter the temple again and exit to the north-east. Pull up onto the roof of the temple at the outside north-east corner. Jump into a hole in the middle and pick up a large medipack. Go to the west edge of the roof and use the binoculars. Look down to the south-west and you can see a faint floating platform. Run and jump onto that platform. Stand jump with grab to glide into the west wall doorway.

 

Go north to exit the building. Loop around to the south-west and get into an alcove. Push the doors open. Enter and continue to drop into a hole. Pull up into a crawl space for a large medipack. Drop back out and turn around. You can see a skeleton in front of you. Get out and go north and see another skeleton. Run into the opening in the north wall. Loop around to the right and climb the wall ladder. Pull up at the top.

 

Drop down, grab the ladder again, and shimmy to the right. Climb the new wall ladder to the top. Pull up, back flip and roll to grab a crevice on the other side of the room. Shimmy to the right and pull up. Pull up onto the block and stand jump to the upper west ledge. Run into the spiral and Lara is teleported.

 

You are on a bridge in front of a closed door. Go west and wake a skeleton. Hop onto the ledge. The skeleton will also hop up there and you can shoot it off the side of the ledge. To the west is a deadly spike trap. You can also shoot two wolves that you can see on higher walkways on both sides of the bridge. Shoot a wolf on the roof above the closed doors. Go to the north-east corner of the ledge. Grab the ledge and climb down a ladder. Release at the bottom and land on the ever popular invisible floating platform.

 

Run and jump to a north-east platform and pick up crossbow explosive ammo. Run and jump west onto a platform. Pick up large medipack and jump back. Run and jump south to grab a platform and pull up. Run and jump west to another platform. Stand jump south-west onto a platform. Jump up to grab a wall ladder and climb up. You are on the other side of the spikes.

 

Position Lara to the right of center on the west ledge. You need to use the binoculars light a lot since you only have three flares to start with. Run and jump with no grab from the ledge to the west and land on a platform. Run and jump south to grab a platform and pull up. Jump up to grab a monkey swing and drop at the other end onto a platform. Run and jump north-east to pull up on a block. Turn around and run and jump to grab the ledge with the monkey swing. Pull up and carefully run to the other end.

 

Run and jump south onto a column. Stand jump onto a south block. Run and jump to an east platform. Run and jump to grab a south platform. Pull up and safety drop on the east side. Run into the spiral and you are teleported to another area. You need an item but you do not have it. Go south-east and pick up crossbow poison ammo. Climb the nearby column. Run and jump north to a translucent edge. Jump onto the middle roof area and see a torch for later. Stand jump north onto a ledge. Do not pick up the crystal, as it is a spike trap.

 

Run and jump north to the circular ledge with the dead wolves. Go north-east and use the floor lever. Follow the circular ledge to the popping spikes. When it is safe, run and jump east to grab a platform. Pull up and climb the block next to you. Run and jump south-west onto the platform. You can see a crystal receptacle. Pick up the Pharos Knot off the floor. I could not get back through the spikes. Go to south edge and stand jump onto a lower platform. Follow the same jumping route as before to reach the spiral. Run into the spiral and be teleported to the platform with the receptacle.

 

Place the Pharos Knot and two spike balls drop onto the platform. A block has risen and a fire has started. Go to the south-east corner again. Use the block, column, and translucent ledge again to get onto the roof. Pick up a torch and drop down. Light the torch and stand jump again onto the translucent ledge again. Go to the north end and turn around. Light the grate on the ledge in front of you. The spikes will pop up next to you. Pick up the Teleporter Crystal. Run and jump to the circular ledge again. Carefully get through the spikes and climb back up to the receptacle on the high platform. Place the crystal and the screen goes black. <Savegame: second_crystal_savegame.7>

 

A FMV should appear here showing Lara in the new location. If the screen is black, just wait.

 

The picture returns with Lara standing in a corner. In front of you is a large crystal floating in water. If you fall into the water, pull up onto the side of the crystal and back flip to get out. Go the very dark middle section of the east wall and push open doors. Enter and follow the tunnel around the corner. Pull down a jump switch and get a cut scene of a spike ball rolling in the water. Go back to the room and dive into the water. Swim into the tunnel in the west wall. Pull open an underwater door. Just follow the tunnel, always going to the left, and pull up in a light blue hole in the north wall. Follow the tunnel to a rope swing in the large crystal room.

 

Jump to grab the rope. Swing and release to land on a triangular ledge ahead of you. Stand jump to the triangular ledge to the south. Run and jump to the floating platform to the south. Stand jump into the large hole in the south wall. Run down the tunnel and the level ends.
