Level 1 - Rovine
Costiere
You
start with a flyby of some village streets and end with Lara. Go north and see
a closed gate. There is another closed gate that needs a key in the street to
your south. Take the east street and follow it past a closed gate and another
street that ends with a closed gate that requires a token. Continue north to a
dark area. If you use a flare you can see a light colored tile on the ground.
Continue following the street to a T-junction. The west street has a closed
gate. Go east and enter an open area. Pick up revolver
ammo from behind a tree. Go down the north street to a gate that opens
in front of you. Follow the street to the end and pick up the token (Gettone) from behind a tree.
Go all the way back to the street with the token
receptacle. Use the token and the gate slowly opens. Go to the end and pick up
the key (Chiave del cancello) from the ground.
Go back to the start area and take the south-west street to the locked gate.
Use the key and the gate opens. Enter and see another locked gate to your left.
Go to the south-west to enter a square and kill two
wild pigs. Pick up revolver ammo from
the grass. Go into the north street and pick up revolver
ammo. Continue to a grass area with hills. Jump into a hard-to-see hole
in the north-east corner. Pick up the Ornate Handle
(Maniglia adornata) and exit back to the square.
Take the west street and follow any branch to stop
in front of the same building. Go to the north-west street to pick up a revolver (Revolver). Follow the south-west street to
a dark room. Go south and pull up into an opening. Follow the west crawl space
for the laser sight (Mirino laser). Continue
following the crawl space until you can stand. Climb a short ladder into a
tunnel and pick up a token. Get back to the
south wall opening and enter to the south. Two wall torches ignite and reveal
possible traps. Go east and climb the ladder. Pick up a large medipack and use the token to open the gate. Pick up a small medipack and revolver
ammo. Notice the trap door and go back to the wall torches. The south
torch is a fire trap. Go to the west wall torch and you hear the trap door
open. Go back and drop into the trap door. You get a flyby back to the locked
gate you saw as you entered this area.
Pick up the key
from the trap door floor. Go back to the square and use the key to open that
gate. Follow the street and drop into a tunnel. You may have to crawl through
the tunnel. Use the revolver and laser sight to shoot the head off a skeleton before it causes too much damage. Follow the
tunnel to shoot a barricade. To the east are another barricade and a spike pit.
Enter the crawl space in the west wall. Drop into a hole and pick up Pharos Knot (Nodo di Faro). Climb
out and go back to the square.
This time, go to the south tunnel and
use the Pharos Knot to open the gate. You enter an outside area and kill two wild pigs. Go to the
south-east and kill a crocodile in the water. Get into the water and swim into the hole at the
bottom. Follow the tunnel to a T-junction and go north. Pull up into the hole
to get a small medipack. Go back into the water and see a closed gate but continue
swimming north to pull up into another room. Step onto the raised tile in the
north-west corner and get a cut scene of a gate opening.
Go back into the water and swim south
to the end to pull up into another room. Pick up revolver ammo and follow the
tunnel through the open gate. Go to the end and get a cut scene of the
underwater gate. Swim back to the gate and it is open. Swim into the room and
get the Horseman's Gem (Gemma del Cavaliere) from the floor. Exit back to dry land and go to the square.
Follow the west street back to the building. Use the Horseman's Gem and the
gate opens. Enter and two skeletons arise from the ground. Shoot their heads off so that they do not
attack you. Pick up the Hathor Effigy (Effige
di Hathor) from under the wall torch in the
south-west corner. Make the Portal Guardian and use it to open the gate in the
west wall. You have to use it on the
west side of the receptacle.
Enter the doorway and crawl down onto
the left side near to the door. This way a rock drops from the ceiling and
misses you. Wait for the rock to stop rolling before you enter the tunnel.
Enter and go to the west behind the rock for revolver ammo. Continue west to
shoot a barricade. Shoot the crocodile in the water and noticed a closed gate. Exit and enter a tunnel
in the north wall. Quickly go to the right and run up the north tunnel and run
into the second alcove on the right. Pick up the grenade gun (Lanciagranate) to destroy the three skeletons on your tail. The door in the north tunnel also opens.
Enter the gate and pull up into a crawl space above
your head. Pick up revolver ammo and a token. Get down and enter the north-west tunnel. You
get a cut scene of the underwater gate. Use the token in the receptacle and the
gate opens beside you. Enter and follow the tunnel to a room. Go to the back
wall and pick up a Pharos Knot. Exit and go
back to the water and see that the underwater gate is open. Dive in and swim
down the underwater tunnel and the level ends.
Level 2 -
Catacombe
You start underwater so swim up to the surface and
pull up. Enter the north tunnel and destroy a mummy and
pick up grenade normal ammo. Go into the tunnel
at the south wall and climb the ladder. Turn around and hop up to a thin ledge
to the north. Follow the tunnel to a group of ledges over the room below. You
can use the Pharos Knot on the receptacle on the east wall to open the door. It
just seems to be a black hole. Move the tower from the corner onto a white tile
in the middle of the room. Use the flare or binoculars to see the tile. The
door at south wall opens. Run down into the white tunnel and the level ends.
