TOMB RAIDER - THE PROPHECY

Run straight ahead to pick up shotgun ammo, climb the blocks to your left and find the first button (1). Don't touch the button yet (it's timed) but go through the left passage to a room where, after you push another button (2) to open the door, you can pick up some goodies. Back to the first button, use it and run to the N room.

 

Shoot a leopard, climb the low block and take a running jump to the high N block. In the next room pick up the small medipack on the SW block and continue W, shoot another leopard, pick up another small medipack and follow to a junction where another leopard awaits.

 

Run N to the button (3) first, press it to stop the burning floor and quickly (it's timed) climb some blocks to find another button (4) to open a door in the previous passages. Go back there as soon as you can, before the floor is hot again, and climb the blocks where the doors are. If you drop into the N pit, you'll find a button (5) to open the left door, but I found nothing there. Go through the right door and press another button (6) to open the nearby door, but don't go inside yet; first run S to the end of the room to press a button (7) and open the door directly above. Now go back to the door and run and jump over the blocks to get there.

 

Go through the opening to your left to find another button (8) which opens the next door. In this new room there is a ladder in the NW corner, but it's not really necessary; there is revolver ammo behind the S pillar, and from the entrance you can climb the pillar in front of you by simply approaching its right side (facing W) and using "Ctrl + Up Arrow". If you want to use the ladder in the NW corner, climb it to the invisible white crack, drop/grab and shimmy left to the pillar.

 

From the top of the rightmost pillar (looking from the entrance) you can approach the left side (facing W) and by using "Ctrl + Up Arrow" grab the invisible high crack in the W wall and shimmy right to the alcove to get SECRET #1: a SHIELD. Safety drop to the ground floor, climb again a pillar and take running jumps to the S opening. Pick up the large medipack and press the button (9) there to open a door in the N side passage in the previous room. Go there to find another button (10) in the corridor to stop the burning tiles in front of the doors. Turn right and press two more buttons (11-12) in the corridor to stop more fires and climb the blocks to your left to pick up flares, revolver ammo and press another button (13) to open a second door in the previous passage. Don't go there yet, but go through the E corridor with the spiked pits to find SECRET #2: another SHIELD, the REVOLVER and the LASER SIGHT.

 

Back to the doors you've opened and press another button (14) to open a third door and go down the stairs. Get the SHOTGUN in the niche to your left. From the nearby block jump and grab the invisible crack in the W wall and shimmy right till you can hoist up; pick up the revolver ammo and time the fires in the snowy floor; continue timing more fires and in the room with the pit and the leopard at the bottom, climb down the ladder near the small wooden stairs and press the button (15) below to open the door above. Climb the ladder and go through the open door, take a running jump over the spiked hole and press a new button (16); go out, up the small stairs and safety drop down on the other side (camera angle changes).

 

Turn right (S) and follow the passage until you see a fire lighting to your left; press the button (17) behind in the alcove and continue S some meters and you'll see a ladder over a block in the right wall; climb the ladder, jump to the next block (N) and again jump to grab an invisible crack in the E wall; shimmy right to the next platform. Go through the open door and time the fire to press the button (18) in the tile with the fire; once pressed don't stop to see what happens but quickly sideflip left to avoid the flame (it's not necessary though). Continue and repeat the manoeuvre with the next button (19) you find; this time sideflip right 'cause the open door is the one you've seen seconds ago. Pick up the HANDLE for the scepter.

 

Go back to the snowy platform with the crack you used moments ago and safety drop to the ground floor; run through the NE passage you came from until you find a junction with a fire to your right and a row of fires to your left. Time the fire to your right and pick up the GREEN GEM for the scepter; then time all the row of fires to arrive to the room where you can use the scepter so, kill a couple of leopards, combine the pieces and use the SCEPTER in the receptacle to open the next door.

 

Cross the outside area and time more fires in the next corridor. To your left there is another button (20) to stop the burning floor around the corner; go there to press two more buttons (21-22) and open two more doors. Time the fires again and go to the W one first; climb the ladder and jump the fire pit to find another button (23). Climb down the next ladder and from the N ledge time more fires to find another button (24); this one deactivates the spikes you saw minutes ago, so go back there, jump the gaps and find the first skeleton of the level; use the shotgun to get rid of it in the nearby pit.

 

Back to the new room, pick up the large medipack in the SW alcove and go through the open doors to find another pit. You can drop into this dark pit with full health, but I found nothing below and I couldn't find a way to get back up. Use the invisible white crack to your left and shimmy right till you can hoist up; take running jumps to reach the N button (25) and press it to see what happens. Go back to that place and find another button (26) at the end to open the next door; continue to a big room with another pit.

 

From the entrance, spot the next button (27) at the far NW corner so go there and press it to open a door near the entrance of this room. But this button also activates some spikes, so climb down to the small ledge against the W wall and continue to the NE opening. From here you can drop into this dark pit with full health but, again, I found nothing below and I couldn't find a way to get back up. Continue to another room with another dark pit; this time the author made sure that you can't drop.

 

Jump to the ledges with the fire blowers (if necessary you can grab the edges and stand in the corners where the fire doesn't touch Lara) to reach the other side of the room where another skeleton is waiting for you; you can kill him with some revolver shots. Press the button (28) there and the flyby shows you where to go. Sprint down the long ramp to avoid smashed by the rolling spiked ball and deal with another skeleton. Continue to another pit room.

 

Run to its N side and from the corner jump to the lonely block; spikes magically appear from the air in the corner. Jump to the alcove, press the button (29) and use the invisible cracks to get back to the S side and find one more button (30). Back to the room with the spiked ball and through the other passage; there are spikes to your left, so let's go to the W room. Jump to the central structure and look for the HANDLE and the GEM, taking care with the fires, to build another SCEPTER you can place at the top. Go out of this room and the spikes to your right are gone. Press the last button (31) (finally!) and get access to the final room.

 

After the cut scene, pick up the balls and place them in the hands, dispatch the boss with a couple of revolver shots and pick up the artifact he drops (called "Left Greave"). After the next cut scene Lara will be transported to a room where she can move herself only in circles and the player is forced to abandon this adventure.
