1- Anubeion.

Nice, no compass, no binoculars…

Go forward a bit and to the right into the corner, up in the wall near the pillar is a crawlspace, follow through to get the Silver Secret (1). Go back out and out of the room to a courtyard with 2 pools, one full one empty.

Flood the Pool.

Go left and shoot two scorpions in the side passage, head into the right hand passage, down the steps to a room with a small bench you can shoot, nothing in it though, so leave it there as a land mark. Go to the next underground room through a scissor trap and shoot the bats. Right around the corner from the entrance is a lever flooding the second pool on the courtyard with the pools. Turn around and go straight into the opposite corner, pull out the block and go in to get the Jade Secret (2). Go back up to the courtyard.

The Pool, the Sandglass.

Go to the far pool and dive into the tunnel, take a right and follow through and climb out, use the lever on the wall to open a gate on the courtyard. Swim back, turn right in the pool and get out of the pool. In the wall near this pool is the open gate, shoot the bats. Inside is the Sandglass. Get back out to the courtyard.

Use the Sandglass, the Temple Key.

Go straight across and back into that staircase to the room with the small bench, out through the scissor trap and into the far left corner of the room where you used the lever before. Grab up to the block and turn to the wall with the crawlspace, get through and slide down into a room with a pool. Go into the far left corner, shoot the scorpions and in the corner is a push block, push it in and get the Gold Secret (3). Out and to the right hand pedestal between the statues to place the Sandglass, the door opens and inside is the Temple Key. Shoot the two coyotes and go out, to the far right corner at the pool and follow the passage up some steps and a ladder to drop down in the room with the small bench. Out through the staircase to the courtyard.

Use the Temple Key.

Go to the door between the 2 sleeping coyotes and open it, shoot the coyotes and enter. Down in a small room with 4 buttons, do NOT use the left one when you enter, this is a trap, so use the other three. Go through and jump over the gap to catch the other side. In a room with spikes use the left monkey swing from the block to the far side and drop onto the inactive spike trap. Use the lever to lower spikes at a crawlspace, find that and get in, a short movie will show Lara being captured and end this level.

2- Cold Prison.

Getting Out.

To the right of the door is a painting on the wall, you can push in the wall right of it until you see and opening right. Follow through, keep left and climb up and in the end drop into a cave with a burning barrel. An old steel door in the wall left. To the right of it is an icy block you can pull out. Go behind it and straight into a crawlspace. Climb up into a room with a guard and watch what happens. Nope…, sorry, you cannot take that gun…

For some Weapons.

Go out through the passage in the corner and at the crossing go straight. In the cave with the hut left and slide down the tunnel. At the end jump and grab the icy wall of the pit and climb all the way right around corners and up into an opening left of the one you came from (I found it faster to get down to the ground floor, turn around and climb up the ladder in the left corner). Push the block in the back and go left, slide down and find a lever on the wall in front of you (hard to spot). This lever will open a door in the pit with the icy ladders.

Go down right, into the crawlspace right. Pull up left and up in front, then left again, turn around then jump up and grab up to the passage above and follow through to the roof of that hut. Before you step out onto the roof, stand in that opening facing out and grab the icy ladder above the opening. Go all the way up to get the Jade Secret (1/4). Climb back down and go out. Go left and look up for a monkey climb, use that to get to the Silver Secret (2/5) on the ridge. Safety drop down, turn right and go back down the same tunnel slide as before. This time climb down all the way and go left into that door you opened with the lever above.

Glimpse of the XX Key, get the Grey Key.

A short flyby shows you a ledge in the left corner. There’s a door with a keyhole below where you are and right of it is a switch. Pull that to open a wooden fence near where you escaped the cell. Go into the passage next to the switch and spot the key in the room ahead. Go left instead as the key is out of reach, the door opens for you. Follow the passage up some blocks and a ladder to the crossing in the tunnel and take a right back to the cave with the guy Lara killed. Loop left around into the crawlspace and out into the cave with the burning barrel.

The Grey Key.

Go into the open fence in the back and find a wooden crate left, pull it once out of the corner and into the other corner, use the lever that was hidden behind it< this opens a door on the left.  Go in and get the Grey Key. This key has to go back to the room at the bottom of the ladder pit. The other door in the room with the crate gives access to the secret, but we can open that later.

Use the Grey key, Timed Burner run for the Hut Key.

So out of here, straight into the crawlspace you pulled the block from, into the cave with the dead guy and right around the corner into the tunnel, take a left at the crossing and follow that passage down a ladder and take a right to the room with the wooden floor. Push the crate in the lower part under the keyhole and use the Key. The door next to it opens and reveals a crate; pull it out. Now move the crate under the keyhole to the other end of the trench, put the new crate on top of it and climb up.

Grab up to that opening you saw in the flyby before and save at the lever. When you pull it you’ll see a safe path through the burners, but only for a while. So be quick, get down (just run down onto the crate below, no time for safety drops) and sprint to the burner floor, over the safe path and grab the Hut Key. Go through the staircase there to get to a switch upstairs shutting down the other burners so you can get back over that floor.

Use the Hut Key, the Pistols.

Go out and right through that passage up the blocks and ladder to the crossing in the tunnel. Take a left to the cave with the hut and open it to get the Pistols. Go out, shoot that fool with the silenced gun and pick up the Automatic Pistol ammo.

Using your Pistols.

Head back through the tunnel to the cave with the dead guy, left through the crawlspace and in the cave with the burning barrel some baddies will emerge left out of the sloped tunnel. One drops a small medipack. Go up the sloped tunnel a bit, take a left into the small room and shoot the cover to use the switch opening a fence in the cave with the tall ladder we’ll go to now. Go out and left up the sloped tunnel and shoot the resistance.

Shoot the windows of the huts, left one has Uzi ammo and a Medipack inside and the right hand one a lever for the door in the ladder wall. Shoot a guy and find a small medipack in the back room. In the front room is that lever, use that to open a door in the tall ladder in this cave.

Crate Puzzle, the Machine Chip.

Go out, up the tall ladder in the corner of the cave and into the open door. In the back are crates, pull out the one from the middle and push it left into the alcove. Now pull out the next one from the middle and move it aside too, go in where the crate was to get the Machine Chip.

Use the Chip, Waterworks.

Go out, down the ladder and into the same hut again to use the lever once more closing the door in the ladder wall. Go up the ladder to the opening on top and use the Chip there to open the door to the Waterworks.

Drain the Room.

Run jump straight onto the ledge between the two pillars in the middle, or swim there and pull up. Use the lever to open two doors. One in the back corner left of the lever and one on a balcony in the back wall, you can see it if you side step right. Swim to the door in the left corner as we cannot reach the other one yet, inside and on a white block left are Flares. In the back is a switch, use that to drain the room you just left.

Go up the ladder left and shoot the thug in the next room. Through the window you can see the Chopper. The door left will open on approach; go down the ladder back into the drained room. Under the ledge with the lever is a crate, pull it out from under that ledge and find the switch it was hiding, this will re-open that door in the left corner. Now look next to the crate you pulled and find an open grate in the floor, climb down the ladder into the lower tunnels and use a lever in the end to open a trapdoor in the room upstairs where you killed the last thug.

Back up to the drained room, climb up to the door in the back corner (re-opened with the switch where the crate was) and go up that ladder again, drop through the open trapdoor and use the switch in the corner to open the second door where the thug lies dead. Move the crate to the middle to get out and enter the new door and go down the steps.

The Shotgun.

Downstairs to the left is a dormitory, a thug comes out and he will drop Shotgun ammo. Climb the second bunk right and jump up to grab the upper bunk on the other side to get a Shotgun. Go out and left, into the crawlspace next to the closed door. Thugs roam the room above and that’s where the Chip card is we’re after.

The Grey key for the Chip card.

Pull a block out of the right hand wall (light a flare) and go behind it, down and watch out for the shattered glass in a pit in that passage. Jump over and take a right in the next passage, pick up the Grey Key from the balcony. Go out and right to get some M16 Clips. Go straight back to the push block and left through the crawlspace. Use the key up the steps at the door left, shoot the thugs and pick up the Chip card.

Use the Chip card.

Go out, straight up the stairs to the room where the thug came back to life’ this time he will drop a Medipack (there’s a good boy). Go straight into the other door, down the ladder to the drained room. Use that crate to jump back into the entrance you originally came from and follow through to the ladder wall in the cave. Go through the opened fence (see “using your pistols” above) and use the Card next to that lattice gate. The gates open and it seems this also opened the way to the last secret here.

Detour for the Secret: Go back to the previous cave, left down the sloped tunnel to the cave with the burning barrel where a door now opened left of the familiar crawlspace. Inside is a lever to open a wooden door, go out and straight into the open fence. To the right into the now open door and follow around to the Gold Secret (3/6), a small medipack and 3x M16 Clips. Make your way back up the slope on the right and at the cabins also a right to where you opened the gates with the Chip card.

Go up the tunnel and this level ends.

 

3- FOA’s Hideout.

The Yard.

Shoot two guys and their dogs (one guy drops M16 Clips, might be under the corpse). Go into a room in the back right and shoot the thug to get his Flares, then go back onto the Yard and right to the entrance of an icy tunnel. First hop left onto a rock in the corner, jump and grab from there to the grey transporter belt on the other side and follow this floor with crates to the far beck to get M16 Clips. Get back down and now go into that tunnel.

Icy Caves, Chip Card.

In the cave with the crane, go right and straight to the back wall to find a climb wall, go up and back flip off into the tunnel, follow through climbing up a few times and get 2x Shotgun ammo. Get back down the ladder; turn left and go straight up into the back corner where you see a tunnel, follow through. Use the zip line to get across the canyon and shoot the guy coming out of the fence. He will leave a Chip Card, check underneath the corpse. Inside the room he came from, there is a machine and some other stuff. Go back out, look to the right hand side of the canyon and spot ammo on a ledge, jump and grab that ledge to get the M16 Clips. Jump back with a left curve so you’ll slide off backwards and can shimmy back to the wooden fence.

Look in the left wall outside for a push block, pull it out and move it twice towards the machine, climb up and get onto the roof of the shack for Flares and a Medipack. Get back down and you can now push the block back into the alcove (all the way in) or leave it where it is. Go into the opening where the block was before, up the icy ladder (left), go left around a corner and climb up right. Slowly walk the next part, as there’s a nasty hole in the floor, Jump over and over a next hole. Jump up right next to that pillar to get Uzi clips. Follow this tunnel further and in a small cave a guy attacks. Shoot the dog too and pick up a small medipack the guy drops.

Use the Chip Card.

Go up a ladder opposite where you came in and climb right around into the tunnel, follow through passing the gate where you got the 2x Shotgun ammo before and finally slide down again into a cave with a small medipack and that one is for the long drop down in that same corner. So safety drop and go right and down to the lake, to the opposite side and back to the Yard. To the left behind the pillars is a door where the card can be used. Inside is a kind of Egyptian room with two guys guarding it.

On the opposite side of the inner courtyard is a block under a broken column, pull it out and push it to the right once, climb it and grab up to the ledge above. Jump diagonally to get to the far left corner and get the Silver Secret (1/7). Go to the opposite corner for Flares and then along that side over the ledges to find M16 Clips.

Block for the Doors.

Get down and move the block to the far wall where that staircase is, there are 3 tiles opening doors, so push it onto the tiles (#4 is broken).

Right hand side back: right hand door upstairs opens, go in and follow through the winding tunnel, down an icy tunnel and climb up some blocks to get to a room with the Machine Key. A thug comes out of a side room, kill him and go in there.

Crates for the Uzis.

In the corner next to the entrance is a crate on top of another, move the lower crates so you can push the top crate onto the block in the other corner to get it out of the way, now move the lower blocks out of the corner where the top crate was and find the Uzis there. Back into the room where you found the key and make your way back to the Egyptian room.

Left hand side back: left hand door upstairs opens, go in and follow through the crawlspace to where you see a crate blocking the path, stand up there and grab up right, follow through to the back of a second crate and pull it out, climb over and push it as far as you can into the passage you came from. Pull the other crate once and climb over to get the Uzi clips where that crate was standing. Climb back over.

Go over the grate in the floor and follow to a lever raising a block on the Yard. Go back and straight into a lower passage with a crate, push the crate and go right into the crawlspace back to the Egyptian room.

Left hand side front: the door in the wall you are facing opens, get in there and get Shotgun ammo.

Go out of the Egyptian room to the Yard, to the right a bit and climb the crate you raised and get onto the left transporter belt. Jump over to the arch over the entrance and at the end turn and hang from the wall to find a jump lever. Use that and a door opens on the yard, left of the Egyptian room and near the Icy tunnel.

Start the Machine, the Battery.

But there we need a Crowbar, so go into the Icy tunnel, follow the route through the cave with the crane to the canyon with the zip line and go over once again. Into the Machine room left of the shack and use the Machine Key there. Push the now available button and see a door open up. Go out, right into the push block passage and up the icy ladder left, go left around a corner and climb up right.

Slowly walk the next part, as there’s a nasty hole in the floor. Jump over and over a next hole; follow this tunnel further and in that small cave with the door a guy attacks. Go into the shack and pick up the Battery, to the right are some Uzi clips.

To get out of here we have to follow all the tunnels and ladders again, start with the ladder left as you come out and back in the cave with the crane, place the Battery on the crane to start it.

Underwater Tunnels.

Save before diving down in the hole where the crate was hanging. The current will take you through the first part, then look right around the next corner and use the underwater lever there to open a door further on. Follow the tunnel around all corners and look for a kind of crawlspace up right, get in there and get air in the cave.

Back in for a Secret: Swim back in and go right to the end, down and roll to use the underwater lever there, swim back and follow to where that blue door now closed and spot the opening right, get in for the Jade Secret (2/8). Swim back to the crawlspace where you got air before.

Cave with the Monkey swing.

Wade out and find a tunnel in the far back (right). Inside the tunnel is blocked by ice. Push the right hand block, step left and push that one too. Turn right and pull that first block towards the tunnel. Roll and follow this tunnel up to a crawlspace, when you get out of that you will stand on those ice blocks you pushed. Crawl over the blocks into the gap and drop down from the block, pull the lever there to open a door to a Secret.

Open the Door at the Shack.

Turn around and push the block into the tunnel, turn right and pull that block once, climb over it from the side of the lever to get the Uzi clips. From there you can grab up into the upper tunnel again, follow to the monkey swing and use that to get to the opening in the other side of the cave. Climb up a few times to slide down to a cave with a partially frozen over floor, walk along the left side and jump over to the snow on the other side to get to the only solid part of the floor under the lever there. Use the lever to open a door near the shack at the zip line.

Back to the Shack, the Crowbar.

Hop back grabbing the edge and safety drop onto the slope below. Turn around and look up right for an opening in the wall in the corner opposite the tunnel with the push blocks. Climb up, climb up right and walk slowly around the corner to a hole in the floor. Turn around and safety drop down (into the hole we jumped over a couple of times), hold Ctrl so you’ll grab the ladder after sliding down and go down as far as possible before you drop to the ledge at the Shack. Turn right and enter the door, flip the switch left and get into the opened trapdoor right, crawl to get the Crowbar.

Back to the Yard, use the Crowbar.

Get back up, out of the room and straight into the opening where the icy ladder is, you know the route by now as this will be the third time you take it…

Back to the Yard where a guy and a dog will welcome you. If you want the secret, go straight and left into the door to the Egyptian room, towards the staircase on the left and then into the door right of the staircase. Inside is the Gold Secret (3/9), a Medipack and 3x Shotgun ammo, a pit in the right hand back corner has 2x Uzi clips.

C4 Explosives.

Go out, right around corners into the door near the icy tunnel, move some crates out of the way so you can get to the door in the left back corner and open it with the Crowbar. Inside is some C4 Explosives.

The Prison Key, Break Out or Break In…

Back out to the Yard and left, at the end left into that dark wide wooden passage. In the back jump up right onto the ledge and climb the ladder to the rafters. Jump via the side along the rafters to the far left corner alcove and get the Prison Key there. Drop down and go open the door in the same wall. Go in and free the Prisoner with the C4. Watch the cut scene.

 

4- Carnivorous Island.

The Laguna, Key to the Village.

Turn left and go to that rock wall, turn right and jump to the rock ledge, climb up and hop over to the next flat part. Turn right and run jump to the block in the water, drop from the other side into a hole with water, follow through going left and get out. Left around the corner are some Flares. Go through the opening opposite where you came up and come to a large hall with spike pillars.

Seems there are two ways to do the next part, the sissy route and the challenging route we took:

1- challenging route: Aim for the pillar a bit left of the entrance, take two steps back from the edge and hop back once (4spikes.jpg).

Run jump to land on the first pillar when you expect the spikes to go down, curve doing a running jump to get to the next pillar where the spikes should have just popped, run onto the next (somewhat higher) pillar and run along the right hand side to jump curved around the lower pillar and grab the opposite floor (4spikes.wmv-savegame.4).

2- The sissy route: many of the spike pillars are climbable, so you can do back flip/roll/grabs from one to the other to get to the other side.

For a Secret, climb down this spot into the pit, turn right and hop down for the Silver Secret (1/10). Climb back up.

Use the lever to open the gate, drop down, roll and sprint straight without hesitation to the other side. Pick up a Medipack as your reward and go into the next room to get the Key to the Village.

Grab up into the crawlspace in the back and follow through, hang backwards into the next room and drop, keep jumping left over the sloped floors to get to the safe floor. There are two doors here, go into the next section and left into the corner, down to get a small medipack there and go back up. In the back of the cave there is a gate, to the right of it is a lever in the corner. Use that, go back to the previous room and only use the button in the right hand door. The other is a trap. Go back to the other room where the gate now opened straight ahead.

Go through and if you like you can open that gate to the right, inside is Shotgun ammo, but also two lizards you’ll have to shoot, so if it is worth it…? Go to the back end of the corridor, another lizard will come from the back of the corridor. In that back end is another lever to open a gate next to it and opposite is a room where we need a key.

The Labyrinth for the Storage Key.

So go into the gate and right around the corner is a reach-in switch, use that and go back to the corridor, right around corners to the gate you opened. Another lizard will be there of course. Follow the passage down (to the right is a closed gate with a key behind it), around a corner to the right and at a crossing go right and right again. You arrive at a room with a bridge over a pit. Stand back and sprint in one go over the bridge, follow through some crawlspaces, run past a knife ball falling from the ceiling, go left around corners to pick up Uzi clips. Now go left/right into a room with a trapdoor in the floor. Use the lever there to open some gates in this Labyrinth.

Go out and right around the corners through a gate you opened and through a crawlspace, up the climb wall and down the other side to get back into the start of the Labyrinth.

Go straight into the Labyrinth, around the corner to the right at the crossing right and now straight. Around the corner left, through a second gate you opened and use the button there to kill some flames where the bridge used to be.

Go back and keep left to the pit of the bridge, jump to that flat ledge left and pull up in the crawlspace. Inside is a spike ceiling and a lever on the wall. Use the lever and get back in the crawlspace before you are killed (lever opens the trapdoor in the room back in the Labyrinth).

Drop back to the ledge at the pit and jump left into the opening, follow the same route. Crawlspaces and keep crawling under the spiked ball, follow through and to the right into the room with the trapdoor and drop down. Climb up at the other end and go up to the Storage Key, go out the gate and left to get back to the corridor. Go left and the door opposite opens, shoot the lizard and go in to get 2x Shotgun ammo from a crawlspace up left.

A Torch.

Back out and go right to the back end of the corridor, right into the lower room with the checkered floor and use the Storage Key there. Go get the Torch where the gate opened and ignite it. Go around igniting the 4 scones on the walls and the door in the back opens up.

The Village.

Nope, you cannot take the torch, so drop it and climb the wall. Go through carefully, climbing up a few times and when you go left sliding into a crooked passage you have to slide/jump over the hole with water in the floor (below is access to a secret room, later). Get up into the area with the huts. Go left of the big hut and get onto the roof where you’ll find Shotgun ammo. Drop down and shoot the lock on the gate right of the big hut, follow in and get M16 clips and Shotgun ammo.

Go out, use the lever on the small hut to open it and go through to a Laguna. Go left and dive into a hole in the water there, swim down in that corner for Flares. Back up and straight to the hut in the far left corner and inside you can use the Village Key. Go in and left around the gate to a low ledge near the corner of the pool, shoot two crocodiles from there and dive in turn right and swim into the tunnel around some corners to get the Jade Secret (2/11). Swim back and climb out at the same ledge.

Go to the high corner opposite of where you came in and grab the monkey climb, go over the pool to the other side and go through to another part of the village.

Up the Trees, Automatic Pistol.

Go a bit left to the tree in the far left corner, walk up the roots a bit so you can grab up to the branch above, walk off right onto the leave cover in that corner and turn right to jump up to the top of the hut. On that roof, a bit left you’ll find the Automatic Pistol. Roll, go back down from the side of the roof where you came from and walk up to the branch of the tree in front of you, ignite a flare to spot a small hole in the leaves (crawlspace).

Strange Caves, Lasersight.

Follow through and in the tree cave is a passage to the right (later), and a bit further in an alcove left is a small medipack. Coming back out of the alcove turn left and go further into this part, follow the passage to where you climb onto the roof of a hut. Grab the Medipack and go back inside (crawl in backwards) and follow to the tree cave (where the small medipack was), this time take a left and follow through hugging the right hand wall. Climb up in the dark corner and come into the weird looking tunnels, climb up twice I think and then slide down. Look right to spot a large cave (straight ahead leads back to the first settlement), so go onto the ledges over the large cave and shoot the Bugs.

For now take a right on the crossing of bridges and into the tunnel there, shoot the Bug and at the stone pillar down to the right. In the lower section of this cave is a dead guy with a Lasersight, grab that and shoot the Bug.

2 Gemstones for the Gong Mallet.

On the stone ledge is a block you can pull away from the crawlspace, get in there and follow through to a cave behind a glass wall, go into the tunnel right and just slide down the end into a cave with a deadly pool. Shoot the Bugs and jump over to the central floor to grab the Gemstone (#1), 4 Bugs come out. On the ledges around the pool are a small medipack and Flares to be found. Left of the wall with the skull are blocks where you can climb up to the top of that wall and get into the opening in the green stuff.

Climb up a dozen times to reach a top cave, drop down the other end to get back behind the glass. Go out through the passage and crawl back to the cave with the dead guy. Straight to the tunnel ahead and left, up left at the stone pillar and out left to the bridges. Take a right at the crossing and shoot a Bug. To the right is where we use the Gemstones later, so take a left up to the upper level of the cave. Shoot the Bugs (Personal statement: boy do I hate those Uzis, pistols even work better on those Bugs) and Lara might look up at something. Use the Pistol with the Sight and shoot that green stuff on the ceiling above and the Gemstone (#2) will drop. Grab that and go back where you came from, just keep going sort of straight and in a room with a glass wall are two receptacles for the Gems. The glass wall is gone so you can grab the Gong Mallet.

Sound the Gong.

Go back to the big cave, cross the bridge straight and take a right into the tunnel, follow to the 2 huts, drop down and enter the small hut again (where the lever is). Over to the hut in the far left corner where you used the Village Key. Go in and through and to the high corner opposite of where you come in and grab the monkey climb, go over the pool again to the other side and go through to another part of the village. Take a right, go down that tunnel and left around the corner to get some M16 clips. Back up to the surface and straight to the hut with the Gong in the back room. Walk around near the Gong till a cut scene triggers where Lara uses the Gong (doesn’t work in every spot). Best get out of the hut before the three Natives come in and shoot them out in the open.

The Hut Key.

Go left from coming out of the hut with the Gong and the hut where the Automatic Pistol was on the roof is now open. Dive into the hole and swim to a room with a button opening up a trapdoor to a tree house. Go back, out of the hut and sort of straight to a ladder at the other side of the village, shooting a Native. First go left into the dark alcove, climb on the root and turn around to grab up to a branch above and get Shotgun ammo. Down again and up the ladder into the tree house to get the Hut Key from the dead guy. Get out, shoot more natives and get back into the tunnel left to that pool with the monkey climb. Dive in and climb out right at the other side, go out to the Laguna and go straight through the water. To the left is another hut entrance, use the Key there to open the gate.

A trapdoor to a Secret now opened too and it requires some backtracking, so go out, straight over the beach and a bit right to climb up left into the small hut. Go out to the area with the two huts and left into that tunnel you came from before, this time just run down into the water. Keep to the right and up to the small room with the open trapdoor, climb up to get the Gold Secret (3/12), a Medipack, 2x Shotgun ammo and M16 clips.

Dive back into the water, keep going right and come to the air pocket at the spike room, get air, dive in again and keep going right again to reach the Laguna. Climb out of that pit and dive into the sea, swim left to get out on the beach and take a right through that huge arch to get back to the hut where you used the Hut Key.

Go through to end the level.

5- Meeting the Scientist.

Go through a hut into a tunnel and slide down to a deep pit, run jump out left to a ledge. Turn left to the wall and spot an alcove down left, run in there; use Ctrl. Hang from the edge and shimmy left to an alcove with the Silver Secret (1/13). Shimmy back, run jump out of the alcove to grab the ledge left and climb up a bit, roll and jump back to the ledge in the corner.

For the Temple Key.

Roll and run jump to the upper ledge, go in left and climb up a few times to reach an area with trees. Jump right around the corners to get Shotgun ammo. Monkeys are not very friendly in here. Go back to the entrance and then to the other corner (left) for Flares. Turn right and jump along the tree house (inside is a Key) to the other side where you’ll find an opening with a pole. Slide down the pole and out, push the block, step left and push that one too. Turn right and push the first block twice. Turn left and jump over the spikes to the lever that will open up a trapdoor to the tree house. Turn around and jump up to grab that crawlspace over the spikes. Crawl through and to the left you can see a door where we need the Key we’re going to get now.

Save at the left side of the spike slope and slide jump over the first spikes and then jump again to get to the ladder, climb up another one of those loooong ladders into a crawlspace. Follow through to a hut, get out and shoot the monkeys. Left around the corner next to the hut are Grenades. Go to the far right hand back corner.

For the Secret: from the hut go to the far left corner and into the dark passage to a trapdoor that will open up. Go to the far end of this place and roll, save before picking up the Jade Secret (2/14). Grab it and sprint through the closing spike walls, maybe you even need a medipack and stop immediately after clearing the walls. Time the burners and get through, jump over the blade and climb back through the trapdoor. Back in the jungle shoot more monkeys.

Seen from the hut you came out of before, in the right hand back corner is a dirt mound, get on it and look up for the crawlspace, get through, get ready to battle 3 Natives and go straight under the tree house. Up the ladder and back flip off to grab the Temple Key.

Jump back over the ladder hole and go in left to the adjacent room to get the Gold Secret (1/15), 2x Automatic Pistol clips, 3x Uzi clips and 2x Shotgun ammo. Go back to the ladder.

Climb down and go to that stone structure in the other end, climb up to the top and jump over the trees back to the far right hand corner passage with the pole. Slide down again, jump over the spikes to the ledge with the lever and turn around, up to the crawlspace and left at the spike slope to the door and open it with the Temple Key.

Making an Entrance.

Go to the right in the next room and find in that burial chamber a Medipack in the back, go back out. Now we have to open the door and you have to do this by exchanging 3 push blocks onto the spots where the other blocks are. First one left as you came into the room goes to the right hand side of the room, that right hand block goes to where the second left block is and that one goes where the first left block was (5-blocks.jpg).

When you pull the second left block from the wall, go behind it into the burial chamber for a small medipack behind the corpse.

The Scientist, the Ankh of Anubis.

When all scones are alight the door will open, go through either left or right and watch the cut scene of the Scientist. He will become dangerous when the 4 Natives attack, best run into the side of that room and shoot them there (behind the cover of the pillar). Pick up the 4 Guardian Masks they drop, then go place them in the room where the Scientist is shooting at you so dodge his bolts and jump away before he has recharged and fires again. Oh hold on… looks like you CAN shoot him, give him a few rounds of Automatic Pistol and run away. He will probably die right behind your back! After placing the masks, a door in the lower water section opens up. Swim down, get a Medipack from one of the corners and go through the open door in the back. Climb out and get the Ankh of Anubis, he will probably die again if you already killed him before.

Swim back, go up and left to the open door….

6- Ambush.

Lara on a big ship, go a bit left and wait there to shoot a dog first and then bunch of baddies coming for you, two of them drop Automatic Pistol clips.

Turn Off the Stove.

Between the heli deck and the housing is a green crate on a lower part of the deck, pull it aside so you can pull that wooden crate once. Behind it is a switch opening a hatch. Go along the left side of the ship (passing the open hatch) and enter right through those broken windows. Take a right again and shoot a dog and his master in the next room. To the right behind that yellow crate is Shotgun ammo. Walk out of that corner and find the switch on the left wall, use that to turn off the fire on a stove under the open hatch. Another baddy and dog show up, go back out and left to drop down through the open hatch into the kitchen.

Upper Cabin Key.

Go out to the mess hall and straight through into the right hand corridor in that opposite wall, open the first door left and pick up the Upper Cabin Key. The other door in this corridor has the toilets, nothing there but a nasty aroma. Head back to the mess hall and go right around into the second corridor.

Key to the Armory.

Follow through and open at the end the last watertight door. In the shower are Automatic Pistol clips. Go back out, left and open the door there, watch the cut scene… The Mechanic hands over the Key to the Armory. Push a button in the right hand corner of this room to open a door in the kitchen and go out.

Upper cabin.

Back to the kitchen and into the door ahead, take a right and pick up Grenades, out and right, shoot a baddy, who drops Shotgun ammo. Left on the wall is a button opening the door there; it leads back up to the decks, go straight up the stairs to the upper deck and left around. Shoot the 2 baddies and go right into the corridor, open the door (right) with the Upper Cabin Key. Inside is a grate you can shoot (left) and inside is the Silver secret (1/16).

Storage Hold, Control Room Key.

Use the switch left of the fire station to open a hatch with it and go out, to the right around corners to the stairs at the back of the housing. Go left down to the starboard side and left to the front deck, in the corner of the deck is the open hatch. Drop down into the storage hold. Next to a yellow container is the Control Room Key, pull the green crate from its place and move it under the hatch to get back up on deck. Go back up to the upper deck and to the port (left) side where you can now open the door near the front of the housing.

Control Room, open a door Below Decks.

Go right and hop over that blue-banded crate, get some Uzi clips and turn around to push the green grated crate. Turn right and pull the switch to open a door below decks, near the kitchen. Two dogs will come and also a baddy, the deck is getting littered with bodies….

Port Side Lower Decks, Diving Cabin Key, M16 Rifle.

Go back down one deck, down the stairs to the right and straight down the stairs to the corridor below decks, go left through the door you just opened and find the Diving Cabin Key on the ledge right. Roll and use the Armory Key there to open the gate. Go in and to the right on a crate is the M16 Rifle.

Go out and right around the corner, down a ladder and use the switch there to open a door at the starboard side stairs.

Starboard Side Lower Decks, .

Get out, into the corridor and take a right to the stairs, go left around to the starboard side and down the stairs through the door you just opened. Open the door in front right, as a shortcut to the Port side lower decks (corridor at the kitchen). Don’t go in yet.

Go left and shoot a baddy (Automatic Pistol clips) and take a right, into the storage and pick up Flares to the right. Go into the back and in front of a door to the mess hall is Shotgun ammo. Back out and right around the corners into another storage, pull two containers from the right hand sidewall to the other side and use the switch that was hidden behind the green grated container. It opens a door to the decks below.

Go to the back of this room, down the stairs through that door and to the right is a valve wheel; use that to stop a big fan. Turn left, go into the corridor and shoot two baddies and a dog. First door to the right has nothing…

Go left into a cargo hold and pull that green crate in front from the wall to get the Flares from behind it. To the right is a stack of crates, pull two of the movable crates out of there to push the third one into the wall so you can get the Jade Secret (2/17).

The Diving Cabin Key Quest.

Turn right and spot the crates in the alcove, pull both crates out of there and aside so you can reach the 3 key holes, all need Diving Cabin Keys. You could already use the first Diving Cabin Key. We go for the others now. In the back of the cargo hold is a (Timed) trapdoor between those crates, go look where it is at and remember for later when we go for the Gold Secret. Look right and at the end of the corridor next to the Cargo Hold is a (Timed) door and that is where one of the Keys is hidden.

Toilets, Second Diving Cabin Key.

Go back where you came from before (mind you, this part is also the route for in the timed run later), to the corridor with the white valve wheel and make sure you used it to stop that fan. Go up the stairs, through the small storage and left, right and follow to the end to the shortcut door left, go in now and left again to the kitchen, straight into the mess hall and into the opposite right hand corridor, last door left into the toilets. Light a Flare and spot the crawlspace up right in the back, get in and down at the fane you stopped with the white valve. Crawl along the side and pick up the Diving Cabin Key (#2).

Timed Run for the Cargo Hold Trapdoor. (Not too tight)

Go back to the kitchen and straight to the corridor, left up the stairs to the deck. Loop around right, go through the broken windows again and to the right into the back room. To the right is the switch you used before, but there’s also a wooden crate, pull that out of the way and save at the switch where you’ll get a screenshot of that door at the Cargo Hold.

Pull, run out to the deck, loop left and jump with a roll over the fence onto the stairs (to the lower decks) and get into the corridor. A bit left but straight into the shortcut door, right into the corridor there and left at the next intersection, right into the small storage and to the stairs in the back. Follow the corridor back to the Cargo Hold and shoot the baddies while sprinting to the end of the corridor. Take a right into the door (savegame.5) and get the Diving Cabin Key (#3). Go back out, shoot the baddies and go to the Cargo Hold to use the 3 Keys to open the door in that corner on the right.

But before you go in… Go back up to the switch you used for the last door, save again and this time run down (same route) and left into the Cargo Hold. Jump over those crates in the back left corner and get down through the timed trapdoor. Climb down the ladder and use the valve wheel to stop another fan. Go back up, left to the corridor and open the door in the middle, shoot the grate and crawl in and along the right hand side of the fan, left to the next section and get the Gold Secret (3/18), 2x Uzi clips, a small medipack and 3x Grenades. Get out of there and go to the Diving Cabin Door in the Cargo Hold.

Go down and use two levers left and right around the corner to open the trapdoor. Hop down….

7 – Karin Vatis.

An overturned shipwreck..

Swim through and climb out, pull the lever and go in, run down the shaft in the end and swim into a large hold, go left and in the end right around the corner of that middle structure is an underwater lever. Use that, roll and swim through the door you just opened, follow and up for air.

The Wooden Key.

Climb out onto the landing with two passages (remember), go left and at the end of that passage up in a crawlspace, go left around to pick up Flares. Go to the far end of the hold (notice the keyhole and door) and climb down a ladder through a hole into a partially flooded hold.

Go to the other end, right around the crates and get Shotgun ammo. Go back around the crates and on the way to the ladder is a crate to the right, pull/push it over the dry path to the corner left of the ladder, climb on and use the lever there to open a trapdoor. Our nearby ladder closed, but it is the one you see in the screenshot. Turn around, jump down and go to the right into a wide, flooded passage, swim left and follow through to where you can climb out.

Follow through up the stairs to where you can open a door to the hold where the door with the keyhole is (above the hold with the crate). Go left to the ladder and up through the open trapdoor, follow through to a dark block and pull it once. Go back, up the ladder and down the next, turn right from the ladder and swim back into the door opposite the keyhole (right), follow the passage back to the lower hold where you pushed the crate.

Straight across into the dark passage and climb up left to the place where you pulled the dark block. Now you can pull away the skeleton and get the Wooden Key. Back out and straight through the hold into the opposite flooded passage, swim through back up to the hold with the keyhole and use that Wooden Key there.

Drain the Hold, .

To the right is a button opening up a Timed hatch, way up in the back of this room. Push, run to the back and left against the wall, back flip on a slope, jump and grab the sloped wall, shimmy left and back flip to a grated ledge. Turn a bit right and stand jump to grab the edge of the opening with the hatch (savegame.6). Turn left and use the switch on this landing, a flyby show the hold where you used the underwater lever is now drained and a trapdoor opened up. But because of electric cables the water is too dangerous to cross so we need to turn off the power first.

The XX Key.

Roll and go down a slope in the back, out the crawlspace and out of the room with the button, in the hole take a left and crawl under the low ceiling where you came out of before. Follow through to the landing where you can now take the other passage (left) into a now also drained passage. In a somewhat wider corridor is a button in the back (left), use it to open a door near where you got the Wooden Key. In the middle of the other wall is a door you can open with the lever next to it, go in there to get back into the hold with the underwater lever.

Go left and keep to the left to find a blue crate you can push in to find the Silver Secret (1/19).

There are several open trapdoors here, but all lead to the dangerous pool. So back right to the place where you came in here and a bit left and look up right for the open door (opposite the underwater lever), get in there. Follow through and climb back up to the landing with two passages, go left, crawl through to the hold with the keyhole and left through the shortcut and swim back to the hold with the push crate.

Straight across into the dark passage and up right to where the door opened left. Follow through to where you can dive down into a passage leading into a large cave. There are 3 nasty fish here, so keep moving. Swim straight and then left a bit and just past a low blue part on the ceiling is a hole up, covered with plants, go up and climb out. Do not pick up the Medipack yet, but start shooting those fish. Dive in to check if you got them all and then save.

For the Gold Secret: Long swim that has to be done perfect or you won’t make it without pumping medipacks. Stand at the side of the hole where the Medipack is. Dive in and swim straight to the back corner of the cave, down and follow the left winding tunnel to the Jade Secret (2/20). Nothing else here so swim back fast and up for air.

Some more pickups in this cave before we continue, stand opposite the medipack dive in and swim straight to the corner where Grenades can be found in a lower part of the bottom. With your back to the pillar (medipack right), dive in and swim straight to the side of the ship, left a bit and down in a hole next to the old anchor to get Automatic Pistol clips. Now you can go get that Medipack (we won’t leave that behind).

Dive in, swim to the ship and right, in the corner you can go into a tunnel to a place with some air and an underwater lever straight ahead, use that and pick up M16 clips next to that skeleton. A door opened in the pit below the air pocket, get in and follow through, into a hold with fish swim up left and climb out quick, shoot the fish. Dive down right of where you are and get Shotgun ammo from the bottom and get back in the passage. Go further into this passage and jump up to open that grated hatch above. Turn left and grab up. Behind you is the route to the Gold Secret for later because the power has to be off.

Pushing Crates, the Electricity Substation Key.

Go up the ladder into a crawlspace and go through to a cargo hold with a button way up in the right hand corner, use the lower crates to form a path for the upper blue crate to go under the button and use the button to open the door left of it. Get in there and pick up the Electricity Substation Key.

Use the Key to Turn off the Power.

Now we go back to the cave with the ship, through the crawlspace, down the ladder, down the hatch to the hold where you shot the last fish, into the passage in the dark wall on the right and follow through to get back to the air pocket. Out to the cave and keep the ship on your right into another opening at the other end (right). Follow up and go through the passage to get back to the hold with the crate. Straight across into the flooded passage, follow this shortcut back up to the hold with the keyhole and go to the right through the crawlspace to the landing with two passages.

Take the left one again and follow through to the hold with the button in the back, go to the ladder right of the button and down a bit, left into the alcove and use the Electricity Substation Key there. Inside walk slow into the glass shards to get the small medipack and then go to the switch in the opposite corner to turn the Power Off.

Now go out and down the ladder to the now safe pool; turn around from the ladder and swim to the opposite wall. Left and on the bottom near a skeleton are Uzi clips, go up for air and face the crate at the wall. Next on the right is an opening, swim into it and use the underwater lever to raise the water level. Roll, swim back straight to the opposite wall and then go left to the ladder, go up and left into the room where you turned the power off and now use the underwater lever opposite the switch. Go into the door and left, up for air there.

Getting Out.

We have to get back to that hold with the 3 fish where you got the last Shotgun ammo. It’s a long swim….

Swim into the passage left, follow to the end of the wide passage and left, right and in the end left through the door that will open, go up and through a crawlspace (the landing with two passages) into the hold with the keyhole, take a right through the door at the keyhole because you can get air there. Swim back out, straight into the open door into the shortcut to the hold with the crate. Straight across into the passage and up right in the back to that open door and follow that passage to the cave with the ship. Straight and a bit left to that air pocket where the Medipack was to catch your breath.

Swim to the ship, to the right into the opening in the corner and to that room where the air pocket was, down into the hole and follow through to the hold where you got the Shotgun ammo. Up for air. The exit is in the opening in the blue wall under a ladder, where a door now opened.

For the last Secret: Go up into the passage in the green wall, climb up right through the hatch and open the trapdoor in the end of the passage, go down and get the Gold Secret (3/21), Grenades, Uzi clips and a small medipack. In this room are some more Uzi clips under the crate where you came in. Go back up and down the hatch to the hold, swim down to the opposite wall and under the overturned ladder is an opening, get through….

8 – Rusty Depths.

Swim through and straight up to that air pocket, turn and shoot the 2 fish. Throw the lever in this passage and check this place for Shotgun ammo at the opposite wall and get air before you attempt the swim into the open door at the other end of the place. Straight ahead is a closed hatch, swim down all the way into the shaft in the bottom and use an underwater lever opposite a door there to open the hatch. Go back up and out at the hatch to use the button there, to open that door way down in the shaft.

Large Cargo Hold, Air First.

So swim back down and into the open door, left to a large Cargo Hold. Go down and straight across into the tunnel near the bottom. Climb out and shoot the two fish.

In the corner is a green crate, pull it away from Grenades and Automatic Pistol clips. Then push it back into the corner, roll and pull/push that blue crate against the green one and climb on, push the blue crate in the wall all the way it to use the lever there, hop out of the passage and next to the green crate is a new opening with the Jade Secret (1/22).

On a ledge above in this room is a ledge where we need three Cargo Keys. But at least we have an air pocket here we can use.

Dive back in and swim left, next to a skeleton are Grenades. On the ledge above (swim up) behind a skeleton are Uzi clips. From the air pocket swim to the far right corner where Shotgun ammo is found, go back for air. Swim back into the hold, take a right along the wall and into the passage straight ahead, up in the end and use the switch there to open a door.

Swim back, up in the large hold and roll, swim into the open door in the same corner as the passage below. Use the underwater lever straight ahead. Roll, swim out and straight into the open door in the opposite wall, then climb out there. Use the lever and a trapdoor opens in the floor of the Cargo Hold. Swim straight and down to the lower section and just over the orange crate is the open trapdoor.

The Blue Shipwreck Cave.

Go down; use the underwater lever right of the door and swim in. Follow through and swim into a large cave with the upper decks of the overturned wreck. Go forward (up left in the middle of the wall is an air pocket) and take a right, swim straight underneath the ship and then up to an air pocket above. Get out and take the small medipack. Could be you have six fish on your tail or they might show up later (depends on where you swim through the decks of the ship), you know where to go to deal with them now. On the mound in the corner of this small cave are Automatic Pistol clips.

Hop into the water, turn your back to the ship and swim down and left a bit into a cave in the wall, go left and follow the tunnel to the Jade Secret (2/23). Go back for air.

Swim down and facing the ship left to the back and down into a hole in the blue sand to get Uzi clips.

First Key. (keep an eye on your air supply and go get some whenever you need, the actions aren’t timed)

-Facing the ship, left along the wall and underneath the ship to the back of it. Up at the other side and up in that left corner is a tunnel, follow through and get out (room with air). Pull the crate away and grab Shotgun ammo.

Use the switch on the left of it and see a door open up. Swim back to the ship, go left/right through the passage between the cabins and when you go past the railing, go up one deck. Swim through the passage between the cabins to get behind the ship again and go left to where that door opened. Inside the cabin is a Key to the Valuable Cargo (#1). On the floor left are Uzi clips. Get out and to one of the possible air pockets.

Second Key.

-Swim all the way down under the middle cabin and up to find an underwater lever, it opens a door. That door is located one deck up and in the middle cabin, so through the passage between the cabins and right. Inside is an underwater lever opening yet another door and a fish will come and play.

Take it to the large air pocket and shoot it. Swim back to the same door where you used the last lever, but this time swim past it to the back of this passage, to the right is another underwater lever, it will close a trapdoor in a crawlspace on route for the next Key.

Back to the Large Cargo Hold.

Now we swim back from the large air pocket through the upper gap over the ship (you can get air in the small pocket straight ahead). Left through the door you came from before, straight and up through the shaft to the Large Cargo Hold. To the left is the opening where you can get air. From the air pocket swim straight to the opposite side and just left of the steel pillar on the blue grated wall is an underwater lever. Another trapdoor opens in the floor, this one is right behind you between the crates. Best go get air first. Go down, take the left side and keep going left to get a Medipack. Go back (and for air if you so please) and take the other tunnel now, keep left, straight and down through the opening into a room with tiles, next to where you come down are Flares. Roll and swim to the right into the blue tunnel, follow through and climb out at the end (air). In the alcove just before that air pocket and to the right are Flares.

Get into the crawlspace and where you can stand grab up to the sloped ledge, pull up and back flip. Run jump to the ladder, go up and back flip to another ledge and ladder. On top of this ladder is the Key to the Valuable Cargo (#2). Get back to the water, swim through the blue tunnel to the room with the tiles.

Third Key.

Take a right into the red tunnel, follow to an upside down red room and left a bit next to that skeleton are Uzi clips. In the back there is another tunnel leading up to an air pocket.

Swim back to the red room and sort of straight is a narrow tunnel in the opposite wall, left of it is a part of the ceiling where you can swim up and find the Gold Secret (3/24), 3x Grenades, Uzi clips, a Medipack and 2x Shotgun ammo. Go back for air.

Swim back to the red room and sort of straight is a narrow tunnel in the opposite wall; the camera view will change. Swim forward and find Grenades next to the skeleton. Left around the pillar is an underwater lever; it opens the hatch above the lever. But best go back for air now and return to go through that hatch.

Up there go left then right and down in that shaft is an underwater lever opening a door in the room with the hatch. Nothing else here, so go back for air and swim into this same room again, left around the corner into the open door and follow around to the Key to the Valuable Cargo (#3).

Swim back for air, swim into the red room on the right wall, into the room with the tiles and straight to the opposite side, up through the shaft to the Large Cargo Hold. Swim into the tunnel to the air pocket (straight and a bit left) and climb out. To get to the ledge where you can use the keys, hop onto the crates and pull the blue crate back out of the left wall, climb it and grab the crack on the right to get to the ledge. Place the keys and step through the door. Watch the cut scene….

9 – Guardian of the Scales.

The Temple Key.

At some point in this level you can choose out of two routes, that’s why some doors have two ways of opening them. But because we take the route with all secrets we did it like this:

Two thugs attack shoot them out in the open so they won’t die inside a pillar and pick up a small medipack, another bloke with a gun will drop the Temple Key. From where you came in, go left in a pit along that wall are M16 clips. Go to the opposite side (right from where you started) and onto a block, turn and grab up to the ledges above. Turn around, light a flare and look right for a jump lever. That will open doors in the same wall on ground floor, left of where you land (for later).

Go back up to the ledge, turn right and jump over the holes to get to the far end and look up right for a crawlspace in the wall, get in there and use the lever to open a trapdoor. Go back out, up to the ledge again and this time run jump and grab over to the other side, go left to grab some Uzi clips and then go to the other end for a small medipack. Return a bit and pull a block under that trapdoor you opened. Grab up at the side of the trapdoor, shoot a bat and go to the other end while avoiding stepping on the lower floor parts. To the left is a passage, go in and push the block left to get Shotgun ammo. Back and up left into the crawlspace above, shoot another bat. Go left and be careful with that ladder you have to climb down, speed dropping might not work here.

You are now beyond a spike trap in the passage leading from the first room. Turn left and go left again and down the steps, hop over a spike trap and shoot some bats. Left is some Automatic Pistol ammo.

Timed Levers, open the door to the Jade Secret.

Go right and around a corner then to the left into the corner passage (at the end of this passage is a door we come back to after using the Golden Key). Use the lever to the right to open the gate next to it (shortcut back), then save in front of the second lever (opposite that gate) and this one is Timed. Pull, roll and run up the steps, immediately go left through the gate and save in front of the third (also Timed) lever. Roll and sprint straight through the gate in the end of this passage. Shoot the small bench left of the gate for M16 clips.

Look in the wall right of the gate for a push block (light a flare to spot that darker block). Push it all the way in, turn left and push that one also all the way, turn right and there are two blocks there, push the right hand one to the end, loop around left and push the last one into an alcove. Use the lever you unveiled and see a door open up on Temple Square. Go back to the small room.

The Golden Key.

Use another lever next to the gate on the right, go in and shoot the small bench for Shotgun ammo. Climb up in the back (right), hop over a pit and follow through left to get to the Golden Key in an alcove left. If you want to take the alternative route, go right to the end of the passage and drop down into a *room*. 

If you want to go for the Secret, go back and just around the corner left, hop over the hole in the floor grabbing the crawlspace, follow through and end drop down and up the ladder and get at the end of the passage the Silver Secret (1/25). Go back through the crawlspace to the hole in the floor.

Drop down into the hole and slide down to end up back in the first room.

Go left and down the dark passage to that spike trap and to the right are some Flares. Go back and straight to the doors you opened before (jump lever on the ledges above).

Use the Temple Key.

Inside are two baddies, a lever right around the corner (no need to use it as it would have opened the doors would you be coming from the other side). Go through the passage and left to the Temple Square, shoot a bunch of baddies and pick up Shotgun ammo and M16 clips dropped by these guys (If you have problems finding the pickups, go back to the previous room, save/reload and the bodies should be gone when you get back, giving you clean pickups).

Go to the right on the Square to that door you opened when pushing the blocks and get the Jade Secret (2/26), one of the vases has Automatic Pistol ammo. Go out and straight across.

Go to the big doors and open them with the Temple Key after shooting the 4 hounds. More baddies approach from behind when you enter the Temple, one drops a Medipack (The left Temple Keyhole is for opening the Temple door when you would have taken the alternative route).

Use the Golden Key.

Enter the Temple again and shoot a baddy, he’ll drop Shotgun ammo, in one of the vases (right) you can find Uzi clips. Straight opposite the entrance is a crawlspace, get in there and into a *room* with a small bench (this is the room you would have dropped into from taking the Golden Key). Nothing in the bench, but near the bench on the left is a passage, go in and shoot a bat. Two vases have Uzi clips and Shotgun ammo. Back to the room and left to open the doors with the Golden Key.

Go down the steps and shoot a bunch of bats in the next room. Pull a block under an opening in the ceiling (for a secret later), grab the Flares where the block was and use the lever on the wall to open a door way back where we were before.

Long Backtrack for the Symbols.

Go back through the crawlspace, shoot the guy that is shooting at you on the left. Go straight to Temple Square and right through the passage to the first room. Climb up the block to get on the ledges, jump over and up the block then through the open trapdoor, through the room with the traps and up the crawlspace. Left climb down that nasty ladder to the passage behind the spike trap, into the passage right, left down the steps to the passage with the Timed lever. Take a right to the end where the door opened, shoot vases and get Grenades and Uzi clips, go through to the next room where you can grab the Note with the Symbols.

A door opens left, go down to a pool, shoot bats and right around the corner are M16 clips. In the alcoves around the pool are torches and symbols, make a note of those Symbols (Praying- Force/Strength- Love/Think- Nobleness).

Each side of the room has two alcoves with levers, pull the four levers in total opening four doors and waking up 4 hounds. Get that small medipack in the far right corner.

The Scales, a Scarab Talisman.

Go back into the passage you came from, take a right in the next room, then a left up the steps at the Timed levers and then take a right to the small room at the end of this passage. Go left up some steps, then to the back and through to the next room where you can climb up right in the back, watch out for the pit with the trap. Follow the route to the Golden Key pedestal and go to the end of the passage where you can drop down into the *room* where you use the Golden Key. Go right through the crawlspace to the corridor with the columns and go left into the passage at the end.

Go into the passage going down to a large hall with a huge scale. Straight from the entrance in front of the scale is the Scarab Talisman on a pedestal. Shoot the two hounds. Go to the corner left (from facing the entrance) and find a Medipack. Close by is one of the 4 doors you opened in this room by using the 4 levers at the Pool before.

Activate the Symbols.

Go into that room, examine the symbols Note and look up at the wall, then use the left lever=Praying. Go out and left, passing the entrance left into the corner door. Use the left lever=Force/Strength. Out and left, not the first passage but the second next to that pillar, go up a ladder to the first floor balcony, shoot the baddies and go into the first door right.

Use the right hand lever=Love/Think, go out and right to the next door, use the left lever=Nobleness. Out and on the balcony look into the left back of the room, just left of the scale a gate should be open. If so, go right into a passage with a ladder down to the ground floor (two more thugs showed up behind you on the balcony).

Use the Talisman.

Take a right down the stairs to the lower part where the scale is standing and on the right is a door you can open by placing the Talisman on the small thingy right of the door. Follow the long staircase up to that gate you opened and jump over to the scale. A camera shows a passage in the room below, the righteous balanced the scale.

Go back through the staircase, around the base of the scale to the lower passage and slide down….

But if you want the last Secret: Jumping on the scale also opened a trapdoor in another room where we used the Golden key before. Go back to the higher floor and leave the room where you came in before, up the stairs then in the corridor with the columns hop on to the right and through the crawlspace there and straight through the Golden Key doors. Climb the block you pushed before and go up through the trapdoor, follow through into a pool, climb out and use the lever on the ledge to open a gate. Dive down into the pool to get the Gold Secret (3/27), the Grenade Gun, 3x Grenades, 2x Shotgun ammo, 2x Uzi clips. Swim into the crawlspace, through the open gate get the Automatic Pistol ammo to the right, roll and emerge from a small pool. Shoot the vase for Uzi clips and go out to the hall with the scale. Go down the staircase to the passage at the back of the scale in the lower section and slide down….

10 – Hall of Thruths.

Hub Room with 4 Gates.

Under the floor you’re on, are the Secret rooms, entered through the water and each time one of the gates below will open.

Test of Greed: The Key to the God’s Sanctuary #1.

In the water under the bridge in front of you are Flares, get out then go over the same bridge and the door opens up. Strange sounds accompany you. Stand close to that circular blade and hit roll when the blade opens up. Turn and go shoot some baddies in the next room, get the M16 clips. Four vases in this room provide Flares and a Medipack.

A lever on the right of the gate opposite the entrance opens that same gate, go in and come to a treasury, behind that pile of gold are two pedestals, save if you want to try each pickup.

Route 1- Being greedy and taking the Gold Bar will lead you through the gate left, an alley with multiple traps and finally to a Key to the God’s Sanctuary #1 (picking up this Key opens the first Secret gate). 2 Baddies appear when you leave the passage.

Route 2- Taking the Stone Bar opens the right hand gate and leads you through a room with 2 vases, in them M16 clips and Uzi clips and finally to another Key to the God’s Sanctuary #1 (picking up this Key opens the first Secret gate). 2 Baddies appear when you leave the passage.

You are back in the same room; go out through the blade trap passage to the Hub room.

Take a right and go through the door there, through the blade trap and shoot a vase left for Uzi clips, use the lever right of the opposite gate and go through to a pool. Save here to try the other route too later (stairs to the right).

Route 1- To the right around the corner on a ledge at the pool is a small medipack, in the water below are Flares. Swim to the far end and on the ledge to the right of the underwater gate is a lever opening that gate. Go through and climb out, stand either left or right and run through (a bit wide around the active burner) and run through the next rooms before the burners start.

Up the ladder and slide down to the Key to the God’s Sanctuary #2. (picking up this Key opens the second Secret gate).  Go out to the room.

Route 2- Up the stairs to the right of the pool and go left at the closed gate. Jump from pillar to pillar (you are safe on the corners) and to the far right ledge from where you can jump to the gate that will open for you. Use the lever inside to open that gate on the stairs near the pool. Dive in, swim to the opposite side and to the right is a ledge with a small medipack, in the water below are Flares. Climb out at the entrance, go left up the stairs again and into the gate right, slide down and get the Key to the God’s Sanctuary #2. (picking up this Key opens the second Secret gate). Back in the room you have to shoot two hounds. Go back to the Hub room through the blade trap passage.

Key to the God’s Sanctuary #3.

Go to the door opposite the one you just came from, through the blade trap and shoot two hounds. No vases this time (flare bug kicks in) but the lever is still in the same spot; go through the gate.

Route 1- Drop down to the huge room below, go into the gate (that opens) under the entrance and grab the monkey climb. Watch the health while going over the spikes and around the corners. At the end you drop down and follow up the stairs and get the Key to the God’s Sanctuary #3. (picking up this Key opens the third Secret gate). Back in the room and luckily no enemies.

Route 2- The Torch. Go right over the ledge and find a Torch in the far corner and ignite in on the wall torch. Go around to the far side and ignite a fire basket in the alcove there, look out into the room and in the light of the Torch you can vaguely see ledges, jump them to the next alcove and so on till you did all 3 fire baskets (remember where the ledge was from which you jump into the alcoves, because they can be hard to see from the two last alcoves).

Now jump to the gate in the left wall and follow up to a room with two vases, Uzi clips and M16 clips inside. Two mummies wake up, but when I wanted to shoot them with the new grenade gun the level crashed. So I just ran out and went for the Key to the God’s Sanctuary #3. (Picking up this Key opens the third Secret gate). Back in the room 3 enemies and one pack of Shotgun ammo.

Go back out to the Hub room.

Dive into the pool right of the last door that we have to go into, swim into the opening into the middle section and go around picking up the Silver, Jade and Gold Secrets (1-2-3/30), and probably a mix-up by the builder because this time the Jade secret has all the goodies, 3x Uzi clips, 2x Shotgun ammo, a Medipack and 2x Automatic Pistol clips. Get back up to the Hub room.

Into the last door and in the pool are a small medipack, M16 clips, Shotgun ammo and Automatic Pistol clips. Go up the steps to the keyholes and use your Keys.

Go through to a large hall and shoot the mummies with the grenade gun. Because the Flare bug kicked in you can only use flares by throwing them in front of you. But in the vase in the left side of the room is another Torch, ignite that near the entrance’ go to the gate in the far side and ignite the two lamps there to open the gate, go through and watch the cut scene.

Anubis’s Scepter.

Hit Escape and the level continue with Lara having to fight that bloke to get Anubis’s Scepter back (When you stand in the corner between the slopes, against that block with your enemy, you only have to jump up and down to shoot him). Hop onto the block and pick up the Scepter. There’s a small medipack in this room. Go out through the passage left and shoot a small army of baddies, one of the last drops a Key to the God’s Sanctuary.

Open the gate in the back, go through and straight through to where Anubis is waiting for his Scepter. Approach the God and watch the final cut scene.

End of the adventure.
