THE OLD KEY

 

In the first room, pick up the PENCIL from the pedestal near the NE window. Lara can open with her hands the windows to go outside. Go SW and find the BLANK SHEET OF PAPER near the wooden boxes, combine it with the pencil to form the LETTER. Go E and use the letter in front of the white bird to get the OLD KEY.

 

THE TORCH

 

Now go E to the closed bars door near the hen house, turn left and climb the snowy flatten roof. Go to the NE corner of the roof and jump down to the next low roof. Continue directly to the NE corner of this roof and take a running jump to the left side of the orange alcove where the woman is sitting; grab the edge and shimmy left to the next alcove, hoist up, jump and grab the crack to your left and shimmy around the corners to the next alcove; from here, take a long running jump NW to the tower with the battlements.

 

Take a very long running jump with grab to the W opening below in the opposite side of this tower, run off NE to the the ledge and pick up a TORCH in that small ledge. Drop down and go SE; drop the torch over the snowy ledge near the SE bench. Now go NW and inside the N cavern (light a flare and a running jump with grab to land inside the arched opening) to pull a switch and lower a block near the ledge where you got the torch (a secret for later).

 

BACK UP TO THE MAIN AREA

 

Back to the courtyard (beware with the deadly slide; jump to your left!) and push the button near the cross (few tiles to the S from the cross) to open a door near the beginning. Go inside the opening a bit S, climb the ladder and jump back: Lara will twist and slide to drop into the courtyard again, but before this, quickly press the “roll” key and “Ctrl” to grab the edge and hoist up. Use the poles and the ladder in the corner to go up to the main area.

 

WELL COURTYARD

 

Run through the open door you saw in the camera shot when pressing the last button (N side). Go to the NW opening in the pink house to push a button and raise trapdoors inside the well. Jump there facing N with grab lo land onto the raised trapdoors. Drop down to ground floor and get SECRET #1 in the SE opening: a Snowflake. One of the trapdoors lowered, go there, climb the ladder and take a running jump to the S opening.

 

THE SEWERS

 

Pick up the flares in the E niche and walk onto the breakable tile. Drop and swim E; follow the path to another hole with water (the breakable tiles on your way are only traps). Climb N and find the keyhole for your key to open the trapdoor and get the GOLDEN APPLE. Back to the water hole and at the other side shoot the grate and the barrel to go outside near the hen house.

 

THE STABLE

 

Use the apple in the small box near the hen house to open the stable door. Go inside and to the NE corner where the straw rolls are and duck to get SECRET #2: a Shield.

 

THE CHURCH COURTYARD

 

Go back to the well courtyard and through the E passage; advance and climb the green vines to your right to get a large medipack. Continue to the church courtyard and open the door of the first red building in the corner to your left and get the BLUE STAR. Go outside and continue a bit N, crawl into the W arch to get SECRET #3: another Snowflake.

 

Open the door of the green building and push the yellow star button to raise a block outside. Go there and climb the ladder, jump back to the block and take a swan dive onto the arched catwalk to get SECRET #4: another Snowflake.

 

THE PICKLOCK

 

Go through the arched S corridor and use the blue star in the S building. In the next courtyard, go through the SW corridor and climb the box at the end of the path, turn left and climb the open window. Pick up the flares near the barrel, turn around and open the door; go right, open the door at the end of the corridor to your left and in the bedroom pick up the GIFTBOX. Open the window and use the pole to reach the next balcony. Jump over the fence to the small roof and shoot the next window to go inside and get the PICKLOCK.

 

THE LIBRARY KEY

 

Go back to the small roof, to the previous balcony and use the picklock to open the window. Jump down and pick up the TORAN SCROLL in the SE wooden boxes. Use the picklock in the S door to exit this area and push the moveable wooden box in the corridor; climb it, turn right (N) and use the picklock in the first door to your left to enter into the kitchen and get the FOOD.

 

Go out to the corridor, turn left and open the N doors (ctrl), go outside and give the food to the indigent to get the LIBRARY KEY.

 

INSIDE THE LIBRARY

 

First of all, open the small door in SW corner of this courtyard to open the W bars door and create a shortcut to the main area. But don't go there yet. Go through the N passage to the place where you placed the blue star time ago and turn right. Use your key to enter into the library.

 

Enter and turn left to climb the N shelves and push button 1/3. Use the moveable wooden box to reach button 2/3 in the high S alcove. Move the box again to reach the button 3/3 in NE arch. A block lowers. Move the box all the way to the S, climb it, turn right and jump to grab the crawlspace; shimmy left, hoist up, turn around and take a running jump to the alcove where the block lowered, take a standing jump S-SW to grab the next high crawlspace, shimmy right and finally take a last running jump to the bridge with the balustrade. Use the pole to reach the N area with the piano and run W to the very end, jump to the crawlspace left of the wooden boxes, continue to the S ledges and pick up the SHEETS OF MUSIC. Go back to the N area and use the sheets in the piano, drop to ground floor and pick up the CHATEAU LAFITE 1964 in the E alcove.

 

TAKING THE TORCH UP

 

Now go outside and all the way back to the place where you left the torch; from the second roof,  don't drop to ground floor yet, but repeat the same movements you did before: take a running jump to the left side of the orange alcove where the woman is sitting; grab the edge and shimmy left to the next alcove, hoist up, jump and grab the crack to your left and shimmy around the corners to the next alcove; from here, take a long running jump NW to the tower with the battlements, take a very long running jump W with grab to the W opening where the block have lowered time ago and get SECRET #5: a Snowflake (jump back to the slope, jump forward and shimmy left).

 

Drop down and use the picklock to open the door in SE corner, pull/push the moveable box behind the courtain and all around the central pillar to reach the high switch in S side of it and pull it to raise two blocks outside with the torch and also a trapdoor so you can take up the torch to the beginning of the level. Go through the N arched passage and leave the torch near the well.

 

LIGHTING THE TORCH

 

Go to the E corridor leading to the church courtyard and open the nearby first door to your left, go back and pick up the torch; go up the stairs, open the window and use the Toran Scroll to light a fire (from below; don't climb the window sill); light the torch here and go back down to the well courtyard. Light the snowman and get the CARROT.

 

Take the torch with you and go all the long way back to the room where you picked up the Toran Scroll time ago (use the shortcut near the stable); light the fireplace there to open the E door and get SECRET #6: a Snowflake.

 

THE SWORD

 

Go back outside to the main area and leave the torch near the stable where you can find it later; go inside the stable. Give the carrot to the horse and ride outside and over the nearby pit with ice in the S area to break the ice (from E side). Follow the only possible path to get the SWORD at the end. Back to the N passage and before the ramp approach to the NE corner, light a flare and look up to see a crack; climb there (Ctrl + Up arrow from the right side) to get SECRET #7: a Snowflake. Go down and all the way back to the stable, pick up the torch and continue N to the well courtyard, run through the E corridor to the church courtyard.

 

THE CHURCH

 

Combine the bottle of wine with the giftbox to make a PRESENT and give it to the man sitting in the NE corner (center of the block) to open the church doors. Once inside, in the SE corner, move the box to the marked tile behind the red curtains to open a door high up and raise a trapdoor. Go to the opening in the NE corner, up the stairs and to the open door and the raised trapdoor. From the trapdoor, jump to the cross to get SECRET #8 in its right arm: another Snowflake.

 

THE GRAVEYARD

 

Jump back to the trapdoor, jump to the green hanging ornaments and pry the HOLY CROSS at the other side of the church. Back down to ground floor and open the small door in NW corner of the church. In the graveyard pick up the CANDLES near the white bird over one of the tombs (N). Back outside, pick up the torch and run all the way back to the outside area near the ice you broke with the horse, take the W passage to find the open door (leave the torch here).

 

THE HOUSE KEY

 

From the entrance, turn right to the snowy slope; situate Lara at the bottom of the slope facing S and near the wall covered with green leaves, jump back and jump straight with a left curve to land into the ledge over the entrance. In the E niche you can get SECRET #9: a Shield.

 

Climb all the way up to the W avoiding all the snowy rolling balls and place the candles to get the HOUSE KEY (duck to grab it). Go back down and to the house in the S side of the main area to use this new key (take the torch with you); enter and light the fireplace in the first room to your right; go up the stairs and use the cross in the bedroom (S side, near the priest) to open the trapdoor at the bottom of the stairs.

 

THE BASEMENTS

 

Go there and after the flyby pull the moveable box in the E side of the room (up another moveable boxes) to reveal an opening with a switch and raise a trapdoor. Climb onto the S ledge and pull the moveable box in SE corner twice to reach the high jumpswitch (screenshot of the freezer with Winston inside); push or pull it four more times to the W to reach another high jumpswitch (another screenshot). From here, turn around and take a running jump to the N boxes, climb and go right (E); time the fires to reach the opening in SE corner and continue to the top to pull a last jumpswitch (screenshot of the freezer door opening).

 

A LAST PRESENT

 

Go all the way back to the freezer and move Winston all the way through the corridors in front of the fireplace you lightened with the torch when entering into this house to get the PRESENT. Place the present in the table which is in the room of the very beginning of the level (facing W) to finish this fantastic adventure.
