LEVEL 1 - THE CONTROL CENTER

 

Notice that you start the game with nothing in the inventory: no weapons, no flares, no medipacks... Go to the other side of the room and look for a switch behind one of the blocks to open one of the ceiling trapdoors; place the moveable block under it so you can climb to the upper floor. Notice the red card behind the metallic fence, turn around and advance through the corridor in the opposite side. Press the button to open the door and jump into the water in a very large room.

 

Under that white structure you came from there is a small medipack, and if you climb to the top of that structure (submarine?) you'll find the YELLOW CARD. There is a big fan in a corner of this big pool, but there is a strong current preventing Lara to reach a nearby opening in the wall near the big fan. So from the exit of the submarine swim to your right and behind the huge brown grate towards a long ledge with a thug. Since you need a card to open the door there, turn right and continue swimming to find a big hole in the floor near the corner. Dive through that hole and surface at the other side to spot a couple of thugs near a closed door at the back of the room. You may need a large medipack to deal with those, so get one from the other side of the pool and return here.

 

[NOTE]: Depending the places you visited or the tasks you did before, it can succeed that the game freezes when you press the next button. In that case don't press the button, go back to the area with the big fan and even when the fan is still rotating, the current should be off and you can reach the UW opening near the fan. [End note]

 

Run up the ramp, drop into the hole with the crates; turn around and press the button to stop the big fan in the main area you came from. Go back there and now you can swim through the opening near the big fan to pull the UW lever: a door opens in the room with the thugs where you used the button not long ago so go all the way back there, avoid the thugs the best you can and go inside.

 

Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and quickly run to the back of the room to press a button. Backflip with roll and go outside being fired by the thugs and turn right, jump over the fence and go through the opening near the corner to find a button to press and close the door to enclose the thugs. Go back to the ledge with the now closed door, climb the block and pull the switch to see a camera shot showing the interior of the submarine. Drag the moveable block to reveal a small medipack, then push it to the other side of the door so you can pull the other high switch and get another camera shot showing the same place.

 

Go back to the nearby corridor with the button you used to close the last door and turn around to jump and grab the ledge above; hoist up and run up the ramp. In the next room with fires there's a nice enemy skip - you can jump up the fiery platform corners so you don't burn and solve the upcoming slow part without getting clubbed (what also allows faster routing than described below). But if you want it dev intended, turn right and climb the opening in the corner, avoid the thug and take a running jump to the flat ledge in the opposite wall; turn right and jump to the next opening, quickly run to the door in the opposite side and open it with the button. In the next room step onto the trapdoor between the stairs and the ramp to open it. In the room below pull the switch near the corner to open a trapdoor somewhere, climb back to the room above and if you are lucky you'll have enough time to press the button to close the door and lock the thug; if not, go back inside and try again until the thug is locked.

 

There are two moveable blocks in this room, leave the one under the switch where it is and move the other one to the opposite corner, just under the high closed door; then use the timed switch to open it and run fast there before the door closes. In the next room beware of the rolling barrels and pick up the small medipack and the flares right from the entrance. Continue to the other side and press the button to open the door where the boat is parked. Exit the way you came and press the button twice to re-open the timed door.

 

In the room with the moveable blocks look for the open trapdoor next to the exit and drop down, go through the opening in the corner, press the button to open the door and enter to find yourself at the top of the structure near the water you visited time ago; pick up the small medipack, the uzi clips and the first RED CARD. Safely drop down to the floor.

 

Jump into the water and swim back to the main water area, go inside the submarine and press the button twice to open the floor trapdoor, drop down and move the crate so you can climb it and jump to the next hole to get the second RED CARD. Go back outside, jump into the water and swim to your left to locate the boat at the other side of the submarine, mount and drive directly to the pipes in front of you, near the corner.

 

From the boat you can jump to the high ledge now (Alt + left arrow), continue through the opening in the wall and open the door with the yellow card (wait a bit), enter and finally get the PISTOLS and a large medipack. Go back to the platform where the boat is parked and notice that you can jump and grab the edge of the upper ledge where the thug is, do it so, kill him and pick up the GREEN CARD he drops and a small medipack on the nearby ledge, drop down and mount the boat.

 

Drive to the wide ledge at the other side of the submarine (it's low, you can climb it even without the boat), dismount, shoot the thug and pick up the small medipack he drops. Now if you don't mind an extra swim it's a good moment to pay a visit to those two thugs who were shooting at you before, to claim their automatic pistol ammo and a small medipack. You can also kill the stick guy in the fire room but he has nothing. In any case the main plot continues from the pier where you parked the boat.

 

Detour for a secret: climb the crates near the wall and jump to grab the edge of the high ledge with the railings, roll and take a running jump to the ledge in the corner with the large medipack. Save your game in front of the timed switch. Pull it and run and jump without stop from ledge to ledge to the opposite corner where a trapdoor is raised so you can jump to the final ledge with SECRET #1: the Jade Dragon. Safely drop down to the floor.

 

Use the green card and press the button to open the next door, enter and shoot two thugs who will drop a small medipack and M16 ammo. Press the button near the entrance to open the next door and run up the ramp (notice the corridor to your right); the next door opens automatically. In this room pick up 2 X automatic pistol ammo and flares; a thug will come to greet you too. Pull the switch and run back to the corridor you ignored earlier; in the next room climb up the ladder (there are flares on a crate) before the trapdoor closes. In the room above go to the back to press a button and open the door near the ladder, go back there and shoot a thug and his dog.

 

Jump over the red railing near the corner onto a metallic ledge, take running jumps clockwise until you reach the platform with the opening, go inside and pull the switch in the water hole to open the door in the room where the dead dog is so, safely drop to the floor and repeat the timed run to go back there. Don't touch the button in the corridor, advance to the room with the rolling barrels and once all they are triggered ignore the button in the niche, pull the switch to close the exit but open another nearby door.

 

Look near one of the barrels for a bit different tile in the floor, it's really a trapdoor which will open if you step on. Do it so and advance through the dark corridor to a room with shallow green waters, shoot the thug, pick up the small medipack he drops and the uzi clips on a crate too; pull the switch near the ladder to open a door in a corridor you've already visited, climb the opening in one of the walls to find a button and open the exit door. Find a ladder at the end of the corridor and at the top you'll find yourself back near the room with the dead dog.

 

As you did before, jump over the red railing near the corner onto a metallic ledge, take running jumps clockwise until you reach the platform with the opening, go inside and cross the water hole with the switch to find the open door. Shoot a thug in the next room and pick up 2 X harpoons near the corner, continue around the crates and use the wheel-switch to open the next door, shoot the thug, run up the stairs and shoot another thug who will drop a large medipack. Explore the bedroom to find M16 ammo, the SHOTGUN and shotgun ammo; press the button to open a door somewhere. Go all the way back outside, safely drop to the floor and repeat the timed run for a third time to go back up to the room with the dead dog.

 

Find the new open door behind the crate, run up the stairs and the next door will open, alerting a dog and two thugs. Once the calm is restored pick up the large medipack one of the thugs dropped, jump into the pool and light a flare to discover an opening in one of the walls, swim there and pull the underwater lever to open a door in the previous room. Swim back up for air and kill another dog which was alerted.

 

Detour for a secret: look for a hole in the ceiling with a ladder in one of the corners, climb almost to the top and jump back to find SECRET #2: the Golden Dragon.

 

In the pool room, look for a high opening near the barrels, climb it to find the door you opened with the UW lever; advance and shoot a thug, pick up his 2 X automatic pistols ammo. From the entrance turn right and take a running jump over the red railing to the ledge with the shotgun ammo, drag the crate to discover a button and press it to open a door somewhere.

 

Detour to get a secret later: continue moving the crate to the opposite side so you can climb it and take a standing jump to grab the edge of a high ledge in the central structure; press the button to see an UW door opening in the starting area, jump back with grab onto the crate and another jump over the railing to the ledge with the dead thug.

 

Take the opening near the entrance and shoot another thug in the next room, pick up his small medipack, M16 ammo in a corner near the windows and press the button to open a door somewhere. Optional: climb the computer with the button to discover a hidden niche with a switch to open a door somewhere. Now go back to the main room, jump over the same railing once more but from greater distance to the ledge visited earlier, not aiming to grab it but pressing Action anyway so you drop back to the room with the dead dog.

 

Again go inside the corridor with the button, jump over the hole in the floor and take the first passage to your left to find a room with more rolling barrels. Pull the switch next to the... “open?” door (if you discovered the hidden niche in the room with the last button this door should be open and you can go inside to get the AUTOMATIC PISTOLS and automatic pistols ammo if not, this door should be closed) to open the last door in the corridor; don't touch the switch in the opposite wall but climb the niche with the button and save your game. Press the button, backflip + roll and run and jump to the junction, turn left and go to the room with the floor trapdoor near the barrels you visited a long time ago, press the button you ignored before, backflip + roll and quickly run back to the junction, turn left and advance to find the room with the open doors.

 

Pick up the grenades and notice a high moveable crate in the corner at the back of the room. Your goal here is to move that crate, so place the two moveable crates in the floor against the wall to your left (when facing the moveable crate from the entrance) to create a row of three crates so you can drag the high crate in the corner; once you got it go behind it to find a wall switch, pull it to open a door in the starting area. Make your way to go back there the best you can.

 

Detour for a secret: if you pressed the secret button at the very top of the room with the moveable crate in the high ledge, the UW door in front of the submarine should be open, swim there to a room at the back of the big fan to get SECRET #3: the Silver Dragon and 4 X shotgun shells.

 

Now it's time to use that red cars we got a long time ago; go to the back of the submarine (the boat is not needed but makes it faster) and use the cards to open the door, go up the stairs to find the door you opened time ago at the top of the room with the moveable crate; in the small terrace you can pick up 2 X shotgun shells and the second GREEN CARD. Locate the place where you parked the boat and mount, drive it and go to the door you opened with the switch in the room behind the two timed doors (near the front of the submarine), stop at the back of the room and jump into the water to pull an UW lever near the opening to your right. If you want you can swim through that opening and pick up 2 X uzi clips at the end. Anyway go back to the boat, mount and drive through the narrow passage, park the boat at the end and jump to the high ledge.

 

In the next room beware of the rolling barrels, pick up the flares and use the card to open the door, advance and shoot several thugs and dogs; at the top of the stairs jump into the central pool and look for an opening in one of the walls to swim and finish the level.

 

 

LEVEL 2 - THE CARTOUCHE

 

Climb the ladder in the right hand wall and go inside a small library, shoot the thug, pick up his uzi clips and 2 X harpoons near the keyholes (for later); press the button to open a door somewhere and go back to the street.

 

Continue up the stairs and in the courtyard shoot another thug and two dogs; when you see a keyhole near the floor trapdoor go to your left to a sort of storage room with wooden crates, shoot the thug, pick up the large medipack he drops and go to the corner he came from to find M16 ammo. Climb the lower crate right from the entrance, light a flare and take a standing jump to grab the edge of an upper ledge to find SECRET #4: the Silver Dragon. At the back of this room find shotgun shells and a button to press: another door opens and a thug is released.

 

Go back to the courtyard with the keyhole, shoot the thug and pick up his small medipack; advance straight ahead to find the door you opened with the button. In the new courtyard shoot another thug and pick up his M16 ammo. Go to the small library the first thug came from to find another button to press. The open door is near the entrance; run up the steps to another small library, go left and pull the wall lever behind the plant if you want to get a secret later; at the other side of the bookcases pick up the TRAPDOOR KEY and go back to the courtyard with the keyhole to use it.

 

In the sewers shoot through a window and find a room with three switches, pull them all to open doors in several locations of the village. Notice that there is a closed door in the higher ledge with the grate (for later). Go back to the courtyard and shoot a thug, continue under the arch with the plants to find the large bars door next to the first door you opened when starting the level.

 

Enter, shoot a thug and pick up the small medipack he drops, use the sandy slope as a boost to jump back and forth to land on the upper balcony; from the end of the balcony you'll need to take a curved running jump to the small ledge with the button (tricky, but possible), press it to open the door, drop to ground floor and go back up there the same way. Enter, pick up the small medipack and even when the upper part of the door is blocking the way, Lara can trespass it, so take a blind running jump to grab the edge of a block behind the hanging clothes (a bit to the right) and advance to get the first SECURITY KEY. Drop down to ground floor, shoot the thug and pick up his uzi clips.

 

Now go back to the main courtyard, continue a bit in the direction of the starting area and find the next open door in the right hand side; this time the thug will drop shotgun shells. Go to the corner near the grate and from the alcove grab the white ladder to climb up to the upper balcony, pick up the flares and pull the switch to open one of the doors below. Go down and continue to a pool room; jump into the water, turn right and pick up 2 X uzi clips near the corner. Swim through the crawlspace in the right hand side to an empty room with a switch to open the next door in the pool room.

 

Swim back there and if you pulled the wall switch behind the plant in one of the first libraries, the opposite UW door should be open and you can pick up the SECRET #5: the Jade Dragon.

 

In the next small library shoot the bad guy and pick up his uzi clips, pull the switch near the entrance to open the door and pull the next switch to open a door in the courtyard with the last ladder and the grate. Behind the bookcase right from the entrance you can get the SECRET #6: the Golden Dragon, the GRENADE GUN and 2 X shotgun shells.

 

Go back to the courtyard with the grate and pick up the second SECURITY KEY. Go back to the main courtyard and find the last open door a bit further, at the other side of the street.

 

Run up the stairs, shoot the thugs and break the windows to find the third SECURITY KEY in the balcony. Now that you have the three keys go back to the starting area, up the ladder to the first library you visited and use the keys to open the door in the sewers, in the room with the three switches, so go all the way back there shooting a dog and a bad guy on your way who will drop shotgun shells.

 

Inside the new courtyard shoot a couple of dogs and advance to shoot another thug in a high ledge, climb to the ledge with the dead thug and pick up automatic pistols ammo in the corner; go to the opposite side with the roofs, pick up the flares and jump from roof to roof to the other side with the breakable windows. Don't go there yet, but look for a small opening in the roof near the corner and pull the switch there to raise doors in the previous balcony.

 

Go there and use the trapdoor to go up, take a running jump to the small ledge with the other raised door and to the upper ledge with the ROOF KEY. Drop down and go back to the roofs, look for a hole in the middle where you can use your key and this time shoot the nearby windows and go inside. Shoot the thug and in the next room you'll find another thug who will drop the TRAPDOOR KEY, there are uzi clips to pick up too. Back to the courtyard shoot a dog and a last thug, pick up his small medipack and look for the last keyhole at the back, near the columns to use the key and finish the level.

 

 

LEVEL 3 - SIBERIA

 

Advance, turn left, shoot the thug and pick up the shotgun shells he drops. Go up that stairs and when you find a corridor with wooden crates, notice that the first one is pushable; push it twice to get the SECRET #7: Golden Coins. Pull the switch in the next room; back to the starting area continue to the other side and a new thug appears, pick up his small medipack and locate the open door at the end of the path. Pull the switch in front of the entrance to open the nearby door and continue to a large outside area where you'll shoot two more thugs.

 

Run down the snowy ramp in front of you and in the dark room pick up the YELLOW CARD. Now go all the way back to the starting area to use it, shoot the thug and pick up the large medipack he drops. Pull the switch to open the last door in this area and go there; in the next room turn right and look for an opening in the central structure so you can shoot the thug inside, pick up a small medipack and pull another switch to open the nearby door, but hurry up because it's timed.

 

At the end of the path there is an empty room with the RED CARD, pick it up and advance to the back of the room to find a trapdoor which opens when you step on it; light a flare and at the end of the rocky passage pull the switch twice to re-open the timed door so you can go back to the starting area (shoot the thug and pick up his small medipack on your way) and again to the outside area where you can use the card in the building to your left.

 

Enter, shoot the thug and pick up the shotgun shells he drops; there are 2 X uzi clips to pick up in a corner too. Pull the switch to close the entrance door and go up the stairs near that door; pull the switch at the back of the corridor to open the next door; don't pull the other switch or you'll be trapped here (this switch seems to be a failsafe if you reached this place by jumping from the last pickup corner). In the adjacent room there is one more switch to pull and get a camera shot of a door opening in the outside area somewhere.

 

Open the exit, go outside and this time don't go down the snowy ramp, but run from the left side shooting the distant thug; pick up the shotgun shells he drops and the grenades near the corner too. Locate the door you opened in the building to your left. Enter and cross the room to find another outside area with two thugs to shoot and one more in a high ledge. Left from the entrance pick up the small medipack and the M16 ammo; also jump into the pool to get 2 X uzi clips and a small medipack.

 

Continue up the wide stairs and notice two receptacles to use later, shoot the thug and pick up his small medipack, another thug shoots you from the right passage. At the top of the stairs turn left, notice the closed door and climb onto the window sill, look for a switch to your left and pull it to open the large doors in the outside area you came from.

 

Detour for a secret: shoot the windows and take a running jump to the flat part of the wall over the entrance, another running jump to the next flat part and get the SECRET #8: Golden Ingots. Return to the previous ledge.

 

You can either do it slower - back at the receptacles advance upstairs always keeping the wall to your left to find a pack of flares, or faster - reach that pack from the shootable windows with a simple jump. From the gray ledge on the opposite side you can take a running jump to the ledge with the switch; pull it to open the door near the receptacles. Go there to find a closed door and another switch to open it. Go outside and to the right to shoot a thug; go to the place where he came from and look for uzi clips near the rocks; you can also pick up a large medipack from the dead thug you killed a long time ago when you first entered into this area.

 

Now go to the opposite side of this ledge, climb the crates and take a running jump to grab the edge of the pillar, hoist up and pick up 2 X M16 ammo. Turn right and cross the icy bridge to the other side of this area; jump onto the metallic structure and shoot another thug. Look for an opening near the wall to get the M16 GUN and M16 ammo. Go to the building where the thug came from and pull the switch to see a door opening somewhere. There are 2 X shotgun shells to pick up in a window sill too.

 

Go outside and drop down where you opened the big gate. Enter and run down the ramp to shoot the thug at the bottom; there is a closed door there so go up the ramp and climb the wooden ledge to your left, drop from the other side, shoot the thug, pick up the large medipack he drops and move the crate in the corner so you can pull the switch to open that door. Go there and explore the storage room to find flares and the first ELECTRONIC COMPONENT. When you pick it up two thugs will appear and one of them will drop a small medipack when dying. Go all the way back to the snowy field the way you came shooting another thug on your way and getting his M16 ammo.

 

Go back to the entrance of the building with the receptacles but this time don't go inside: continue towards the next snowy area and pick up 2 X shotgun shells from the skeleton, walk through the narrow passage to find a big pit. From the first ledge turn right and take a running jump with a right curve to the ledge near the corner to get the SECRET #9: the Golden Skull, 2 X uzi clips and 2 X shotgun shells. From this ledge take a look at the entrance ledge to see a long ladder; jump to that ladder, climb down and explore the bottom of the pit to get an important item: the UZIS and uzi clips. Go back up to the entrance ledge.

 

This time take a running jump to the flat ledge attached to the big wall and continue jumping from ledge to ledge in a clockwise direction all around the room until you find the door you opened moments ago. I had to take a banana jump around the ice to reach the ledge with the door (in TR2 Lara can't crawl). Shoot the thug, continue and shoot one more thug; pick up the automatic pistols ammo in the niche and climb the wooden wall from the lower part to finally get the second ELECTRONIC COMPONENT. Make your way to go back to the room with the receptacles, shooting the last thug on your way. Place the chips on the receptacles to open the last door, enter and the trapdoors will open taking you to the next level.

 

 

LEVEL 4 - INTEF'S CARTOUCHE

 

Slide down the ramp and find several monks in the cave. Don't shoot them but continue to the back of the cave to find a grate in the floor and something to pick up. Step onto the grate and you'll fall into a lake below. Dive to the very bottom of the lake to get the DEMO MODE. Surface and get out of the water from the ledge where the monks are; advance to find an open door and finish this short level.

 

 

LEVEL 5 - THE ENEMY'S LANDMARK

 

Pick up 2 X uzi ammo (one of those items is UZIS if you didn't get them before) and a small medipack in the corners of the room. Shoot the windows to the right of the bed (looking from the exit door) and go outside. Shoot the bad guy at the other side of the street and take a running jump to the ledge with the grenades; from this ledge you can safely drop to a similar ledge below, shoot the windows and enter into another bedroom; pick up the automatic pistol ammo, the grenades and press the button to open the door.

Go to your right, notice the receptacle next to the elevator and run up the stairs; pick up the uzi clips at the top and explore this last floor to see that only two doors have a button to open. One of them is the starting room so press the first button you find, shoot the thug and pick up automatic pistols ammo. Enter, pick up the shotgun shells in the corner near the window and go inside the bathroom to press another button. The open door is in the floor you came from (the floor with the elevator) so go outside, down the stairs and cross the hall to the other side to find the open door to your right.

 

In the room with the white piano, go right and through the opening in the corner. Explore the room with the jail-boxes to find flares and 2 X M16 ammo near a corner (one pack becomes an M16 GUN if you didn't pick it up before), a button high in another corner to open the door in the piano room, uzi clips near that button and a wall switch on a box near the entrance to open a door somewhere (second floor). Exit, go back to the piano room and look for the open door.

 

Climb up the ladder and explore the high ledges to find M16 ammo, shotgun shells and the SECRET #10: the Silver Dragon and grenades (or GRENADE GUN if you didn't get one before). Near the place where the shotgun ammo was, light a flare and climb to the niche; press the button to get another secret later. Go back to the floor the way you came or drop fast with fake grab into the the exit to the floor with the elevator, shoot the thug and pick up the small medipack he drops; continue up the stairs to the second floor and the open door is the first to your right.

 

Shoot the bad guy, pick up the automatic pistols ammo he drops and on the bed you'll find the ELEVATOR PIECE. You already know what to do: go back to the floor with the elevator, place the piece on the receptacle and use the switch to open the elevator doors; quickly go inside and descend to the garage, where a couple of thugs will come to greet you. There is M16 ammo in the opening with the last van.

 

Optional to get some pickups: don't go up the ramp, but outside to the streets and to your left; in the small room with the piano pick up harpoons and shotgun shells. Back in the streets run up the ramp to your left and take a hairpin turn to your right at the top towards the ledge with the crystals, jump to the wide opening to your left and explore the rooms to find M16 ammo and more harpoons. Go back outside and to your right to find a pool.

 

Run up the ramp in the corner to find a pool; jump into the water and surface at the other side of the grate. In this area you'll find the HARPOON GUN and 3 X harpoons on a rocky ledge, and if you pressed the button in the niche at the top of the piano room, the door in the opposite side should be open to get the SECRET #11: the Jade Dragon. Jump into the water and continue swimming through the UW opening.

 

In the next room shoot a couple of thugs (one of them will drop a small medipack) and pick up 2 X harpoons on the ledge with the leopard. Continue up the long staircase in this aquarium area and in the next room shoot a thug, pick up 2 X shotgun shells (or shells + SHOTGUN if you didn't get one before) and flares in the corners at the back. Open the door next to the entrance, getting inside alarms another thug. Climb the crates in the corner and go up through the hole in the ceiling. When you find the closed door climb the ledge in front of it, shoot the rats and pull the switch; continue shooting another rat and finally drop from the hole into the room below.

 

Shoot the thug, pick up 2 X shotgun shells on the seat and notice that there's only one real door in the wall. Go to the opposite side, up the small steps and into the theater. Draw the M16 and bring peace to this place; once the calm is restored pick up the large medipack one of the thugs dropped; there is M16 ammo on the stage, 2 X harpoons in a corner and a button in the opposite corner to open the door in the previous room, so go all the way back there.

 

Shoot the thug and go inside the new room; locate two moveable crates (whiter than the rest) and move the one on the floor twice against the entrance so you can climb it and drag the crate above once, climb this second crate and reach the higher ledges. Time the swinging crates and press the button to open the trapdoor in the floor, near the first moveable crate. Safely drop to the floor and drop into the hole with the open trapdoor. There's a similar room with jail-boxes at the other side; look for 2 X uzi clips in a corner and the CASH KEY and some harpoons in another corner. Go back to the theater shooting a bad guy on your way and picking up his 2 X automatic pistols ammo.

 

Near the stage, in the wall with the vegetation there is an opening; go through, shoot a rat and use the key to open the trapdoor. Jump into the aquarium and shoot several barracudas; near the bottom, in a corner, there is a crawlspace leading to a small UW room where you can pick up a large medipack, uzi clips and harpoons. Swim back to the air hole each time you need air. On the other side of the entrance hole, a bit down below, there is a hole in the wall with M16 ammo and if you resurface there a door opens, you can re-enter the previous room and take a small medipack from a thug that appears. Return to the aquarium. Now swim through the hole above to find 2 X uzi clips, a large medipack and an UW lever to open the doors above the ceiling hole to unlock the air exit and release two more barracudas. There are also 2 X harpoons nearby.

 

Swim through the opening with the open doors and emerge in a sort of garden; shoot the bad guy and go through the opening in the corner; in this small corridor there is a high opening to your left you can climb to get a small medipack. Continue down the passage and in the next area shoot a couple of thugs below and another one in the high ledges; pick up the shotgun shells one of the guys dropped. If you go towards the ledge with the breakable windows, another thug will appear with a large medipack; shoot the windows to discover a keyhole (for later).

 

Now go to the opposite area with the spiral staircase, shoot another bad guy, pick up his automatic pistols ammo and run up the steps. At the top pick up the shotgun shells from the thug you killed from below when entering into this area, continue to the room with the swinging crate, shoot another thug and press the button behind the crate to open doors in the opposite side of these high ledges; go there, shoot three thugs and pick up the small medipack and the uzi clips they drop. The closed door opens with a button nearby and has a thug and 2 X automatic pistol ammo. Locate the open doors and explore the rooms to find another 2 X automatic pistol ammo (one of them will be AUTOMATIC PISTOLS if you skipped them before) and the second CASH KEY. You already know where to use this key so go back down to the lower rooms (two bad guys on the way) and to the broken windows.

 

The key will raise a trapdoor outside, so take a running jump to the trapdoor and another jump to the next opening in the wall where you can get the ELECTRONIC COMPONENT (though you don't have to - you can reach the opening with the hedges and skip almost entire rest of the level). The door in this room will open and the camera shows the place to use that item. Also notice the other lowered trapdoor outside. Run up the ramp (standing jump from the right side at the end) and go all the way back to the aquarium and to the theater, shoot two more thugs there (pick up the M16 ammo one of them drops), climb the steps with the chairs to the top and go left up the stairs to the room with the receptacle, shot two more thugs who will drop grenades and a small medipack and use the chip to open the doors in the corner.

 

Follow the only possible path to finally find yourself on the high ledges at the top of the theater, pick up the small medipack near the corner, take a running jump to the opposite ledge timing the swinging crates and pull the switch to get a camera shot of the second trapdoor opening in the outside area. Safely drop down to the theater losing some health or go back to the stage the way you came; either way shoot the bad guy below, get his uzi clips and go all the way back through the pool to the little garden.

 

Detour for a secret: either go back to the room where you fought many baddies, approach the automatic door ahead which opens for a shortcut to the initial area, shoot a thug guarding it, go downstairs to the elevator and take it to the basement; or go to the room where you got the electronic component time ago, jump to that second raised trapdoor and to avoid backtracking, be sure that Lara is at full health and drop onto the block below, go back down the ramp to the garage. The door in front of the elevator should be open now; climb there and at the end of the passage you can get the SECRET #12: the Golden Dragon and 4 X M16 ammo. Now take the elevator back to the top floor, go upstairs, through the shortcut door ahead and back over the trapdoor to the room where you got the electronic component time ago.

 

Jump to that second trapdoor, to the opening with the hedges and to the high garage where you can get 2 X uzi clips; now drop down onto the small garden with the pool and fight with three thugs, pick up the small medipack one of them drops and the shotgun shells in the small pool too. Go to the next garden, shoot the rats and pick up the automatic pistol ammo near the entrance. As you advance a door will open and another thug will attack. Continue towards the end of the street, shoot another bad guy and go through the corridor he came from to finish the level.

 

 

LEVEL 6 - THE THIRD CARTOUCHE

 

Advance and shoot a dog and a thug. Notice that he opened a door in the right hand side.

 

Optional to get some pickups: continue to the end of the street, climb the higher crates to your right and take a standing jump to the catwalk with the broken railing to get a large medipack, jump to the next catwalk to get 2 X harpoons (or one pack plus a HARPOON GUN if you missed it until now) and go back down to the floor the way you came.

 

Anyway go through the passage the thug came from and shoot another thug in the next room, pick up his automatic pistols ammo and also the shotgun shells and 2 X harpoons on the small ledge near the closed door. Climb the central blocks and go up the hole in the ceiling, drop into the adjacent room and use the button to open the door so you can exit later if necessary. Drop into the hole near the central pillar and continue to a room with grated floor; pull the switch near the entrance to open the next door and get access to a huge room with a deadly pool.

 

Take a running jump to the central structure and advance to the corner, use the slope to your left as a boost to jump back and forth and grab the edge of the tall pillar in the corner, hoist up and run off the corner pointing to the goo to land onto a small ledge below with SECRET #13: the Silver Dragon. Press the button to raise a trapdoor somewhere; jump to grab the edge, hoist up and slide to the previous corner.

 

Continue and take a running jump to the metallic ledge, climb at the end, run up the steps and in the room with the dog pound shoot the thug and climb the ledge to your left to press the button in the corner (notice the receptacle at the top of the ramp, for later) to open a door somewhere. Now climb the ledge where the dead thug is and from the top of the ramp take a running jump to the high opening, continue ignoring the passage to your left and in the small room with two big orange tanks press another button to stop the big fan.

 

Detour for a secret: climb the metallic ledge near the entrance and the high opening in the dark corner too to get the SECRET #14: the Jade Dragon.

 

Go back to the corridor and this time take the opening you ignored earlier to find the stopped fan; cross to the other side to get the MISSING PIECE. Go back to the dog pound room, climb the ledge to your right and use the chip at the top of the ramp to open the door. Open the next door with the wheel-switch and pull the switch in the next room to release the dogs. Back to the dog pound room shoot all the dogs and explore the cells to find grenades, 2 X shotgun shells and a button to press. The door is located near the ledge with the big fan so go back there and jump to the opening.

 

At the end of the path drop onto the ledge below and take a running jump to grab the ladder, climb up to the top and in the next room pick up 2 X harpoons and the grenades; continue up the ramp to find yourself on a bridge overlooking the starting area, draw a weapon and shoot the thug in the catwalk to your right. From the end of the bridge turn a bit left and take a standing jump over the fence below losing some health in the fall.

 

In the outside area with the pool, shoot all the thugs and when the calm is restored pick up a small medipack, uzi clips, shotgun shells and flares in a corner. Jump into the water and locate the UW lever near the big UW opening, pull it and swim back for air. Save your game. The door at the back of the UW passage is now open so swim there and find a narrow corridor with three openings in the right side; ignore the first two openings and the frogman and in the last one you'll find an empty room with an UW lever and 2 X harpoons, pull the lever and quickly swim fast to the second opening (the entrance door is closed now) to find an open door. Continue swimming and pull another UW lever, roll and take the first opening to your left (first opening in the main passage) and the door will open for you; turn left and swim back for air, and even faster because in the meantime you got another frogman on your tail.

 

From the courtyard with the crates run down the wide ramp, ignore the ramp with the barrels to your right (shortcut to go back to the main street and a thug would attack you) but check the crates on the left and climb from them into a hidden opening with 2 X grenades (or grenades and the GRENADE GUN if missed until now). Exit, drop down and find the door you opened with the UW lever behind the pillar. In the next room shoot all the thugs, pick up the small medipack one of them drops and for the time being ignore the open door; you can jump and grab the edge of the gray ledge above, hoist up and explore the upper catwalks to get harpoons and the RED CARD from the dead body. Drop down to the floor and go through the opening with the open door.

 

In this room shoot the thug, pick up the automatic pistols ammo in a corner and use the red card to stop the machine, push the moveable block behind the circular saw, the block to your left and the block to your right to clear the way, for an extra pickup later pull the block to your left so you can still proceed but can't return, and find a room with several fires. Take a running jump over the first ones and a curved running jump to avoid the second ones; in the small ramp just run and jump over the rolling barrels. Continue, go down the stairs and turn right to get a large medipack. In the next room pick up 2 X harpoons and pull the switch to get a camera shot of an UW room and hear the sound from a frogman. The door next to the switch is now open so climb the opening and slide to the room with the circular saw. Enter behind it once more for 2 X M16 ammo but one of those clips is just M16 GUN if you skipped it until now.

 

The water here is now safe, so drive your harpoon gun, jump into the water and kill the frogman. Swim through the UW passage to surface in another small room with another water hole, jump into the water again, pick up 2 X harpoons and shotgun shells in the larger room and fight with two more frogmen. Swim through the opening they came from and eventually you'll surface in a dry room. Climb the crates in the corner and jump through the opening in the ceiling, continue through the next ceiling opening and quickly run and jump to your right to avoid the rolling barrels. The thug will drop a small medipack. Go outside to find a button to press and open the door in the previous room, continue and drop into the hole at the end of the corridor; some meters further you'll find yourself in another ledge of the big area with the toxic pool.

 

Draw the M16 and shoot the thug on the far ledge, take a running jump to the next metallic ledge, turn around and take a running jump with curve and grab at the end so you can't grab the ledge you came from but land onto the small ledge below; the door will open and the thug will drop flares (from here you can shoot the distant thug). Now take a running jump to the next small ledge and to the next one with the railings and the dead thug. Continue jumping to the next ledge (left side), kill a thug and jump over the railing onto the safe floor below.

 

Run up the ramp and continue following the only possible path until you can jump to an opening in a wall; shoot the thug and move the block in the corner to get 2 X uzi clips.

 

Optional to get a secret later: climb the ledge, roll and drop/grab the edge over the goo; notice that there are a couple of openings in the wall below; shimmy left or right until you are just over the left opening, hoist up, jump back (perhaps twice, Lara will hit the ceiling in the first attempt if you're using the multipatch exe) so you land onto the gray slope in the opposite building, slide to the very end and jump with grab to land inside the opening. In this small room pick up the large medipack and the M16 ammo and look for two buttons to press: one of them to open a nearby door and another one to open the ceiling trapdoor so you can go back up to the room with the moveable crate. Do it so.

 

From the room with the moveable crate, climb the ledge again and notice that there's a small grated texture over one of the wall panels: it's climbable so take a running jump to grab that “ladder” and climb to the top of the gray building. If you want an extra pickup turn left and go to the wall, turn left again and take a running jump to the top of the building with the moveable crate to get 2 X automatic pistols ammo in a hole near a corner; jump back to the previous roof. Drop through the hole in the floor and when you pick up the BLUE CARD the exit door opens.

 

Go there and drop into the hole to find yourself in a familiar passage; this time don't go up the ramp, but to the brown ledge near the goo, shoot the thug approaching from your back and take a running jump to the gray slope to your left, slide/grab the edge and shimmy right until you can hoist up, take a running jump to the small ledge in the corner, turn left and jump to grab the edge of the ledge above. Hoist up.

 

Detour to get the last secret: from this position turn right and light a flare to discover a high opening in the right hand wall, jump to grab the edge, hoist up and run through the dark corridor to a room where you can get the SECRET #15: the Silver Dragon (again?), the Golden Dragon and 4 X automatic pistols ammo. Go back to the ledge with the dead thug.

 

This time jump to the next ledge and to the final one over the railings to find the receptacle for the blue card, use it to see a trapdoor raising somewhere. Jump over the railing onto the floor and go back to the brown ledge with the gray slope to your left; this time take a running jump around the corner with a right curve to land onto the next safe ledge, another running jump to the raised trapdoor over the goo and a final standing jump with a right curve onto the next safe ledge.

 

From here take a running jump to the ledge with the dead guy (if you shot him before from another position), continue and take another running jump to the next raised trapdoor, draw a weapon and shoot the distant thug, take another running jump to grab the edge of the ledge with the crystals, hoist up and walk slowly, pick up the automatic pistols ammo from the dead body and from the end of the ledge take a standing jump with grab to land onto the next raised trapdoor; advance and the door will open releasing a thug who will drop a small medipack.

 

Continue straight ahead, shoot more thugs and when you find a closed door turn around and look up to see a button in a dark niche over one of the beams; jump there, press the button to open the door, drop, shoot another thug and his dog, advance, kill the final thug and climb the last ledges with the artifact to finish the adventure.
