Walkthrough by the author

Lara drops down facing a golden statue of a dog with red eyes. Turn around and you will find a lever switch that opens a trapdoor beneath you.

As you slide down, you may spot the UZI ITEM on the ground. Go ahead and pick them up. Continue forward.

As you move forward, you should spot a red key (Golden Serpent’s Red Key) behind some geometry and an open illuminated door to your right. You have to collect 4 of these keys in order to pass the level. =) Pretty simple right?

To your left is the main hall. But let’s go to the illuminated door on the right first. This is tricky so be careful. You have a switch on the right that will open the door ahead of you. Before you pull this switch, you may want to collect your first secret. Head near the closed door ahead and there is dark hidden crawlspace to your left. Crawl through and process past another opened illuminated door. Tomb Raider theme will play. Go behind the purple curtain and collect the Golden Red Rose SECRET #1. You should hear an explosion sound. Come back out and you should notice the dog statue is now gone. This gives you access to a BIG MEDIPACK. Now return back to the switch and go ahead and pull it. The room gets brighter and the door opens. There are three trapdoor after the black/white tile square ahead of the door. You MUST do a maximum jump in order to reach the other side. Monkey swinging = death (notice death textures). Go ahead and pull this switch and it will show a fly-by camera of a similar door that opens in the main hall. We will get there soon. Now you can either do another maximum jump or safely monkey swing across to return.

KEY #1

Once you get back to the main hall. The illuminated door should close behind you. Turn left and go up the stair to the pictured door on the wall. It will open automatically and you will find a GRENADE LAUNCHER ITEM. As you exit a dog will be triggered. End him. Head back downstairs to the floor.

Head forward to the other staircase. Look immediately to your right and there is a crawlspace that leads to the red key. Crawl through and proceed. Make a right turn and proceed forward. Climb up the dirt and pick up your first Golden Serpent’s Red Key (#1). As your return back to the main hall you will trigger a dog. End him.

Back in the main hall. Let’s go ahead and deal with the door that you opened earlier. Down the main hall, go to your left under the golden brick bridge. This is the door you opened earlier. Near this door, all the way to the right is a FLARE INV ITEM. Come back and proceed through the door and now you can safely monkey swing without any worries. After you cross the black death water. There is a SHOTGUN ITEM laying on the floor in front of you. Pick it up because it will open two doors to proceed. You also will trigger two dogs. End them. A few pickups in this section. To your very left of the shotgun, there is a maximum jump required and x2 UZI CLIPS. As you return another dog will be triggered. End him. Now head all the way forward, turn left, left again to a SMALL MEDIPACK. Now head back, turn right, and right again. There are two open doors. You may want to light a flare because it is dark. As you proceed forward there are a bunch of breakable floor tiles and spikes underneath you and the doors will anti-trigger, trapping you. The safe spot in the far right corner (NE). You can head back near the doors if you are worried about dying. There are also two cracks on the wall in the far right (NE) if you want to be extra safe getting down. After this rush you should notice another crawlspace. Go through it and you will trigger three rats. As you proceed forward is gets brighter and there is a trapdoor that opens above you. Go ahead and climb up to the pushable puzzle.

As you proceed forward the trapdoor will anti-trigger. Now you may want to scan this room. You need to get behind you to the pushable block. The objective here is to reach the top. Circle around the room until you see the two pushables. There two different pushables. There is a higher pushable that is climbable. You need to move this pushable in the correct position in order to get higher. So let’s use the black/red pushable on the ground floor. Move this backwards twice until you can reach the platform above to move the climbable pushable. Climb up and pull it back. You need to move it once more. So get down and move the black/red pushable to the far right from where you pulled it back from. Move it all the way and you should trigger music. Climb up and push the climbable pushable once more into the correct position. The climbable part is on the other side. Now head down and move the black/red pushable back in its original position before you touched it. This will allow you to climb all the way up using the climbable pushable that you just moved. Go ahead and climb all the way up (Don’t worry about Lara climbing will all fours).

As you climb up, be careful not to rush ahead because there is a slope right ahead of you. Instead, look above you and monkey swing to your left. Now there is another black/red pushable that needs to be moved back once. Go ahead and do this (make sure your action button works). Go back on the dirt square and make the jump to the space you’ve just created. Look above you again and monkey swing across once more. Head over to the gold tile and pick up the FLARE INV ITEM. Turn behind you to a climbable wall. Head up and you’ve reached the top. Now there are two switches on each side. Behind the dog statue in the center there is a BIG MEDIPACK behind him. Head to the other side of the room either way. And you will notice a single Masonic Symbol texture on the ground. This is a trigger. Find the hidden pushable ahead and pull it back twice and it will open the trapdoor above you. Head up.

KEY #2

As you head up the trapdoor will anti-trigger and as you proceed two dogs will be triggered. End them. This is another pushable puzzle but a bit different. The entire floor has Masonic Symbol textures all over but there are four solid red textures on the floor as well located North, South, East, and West. There are two Masonic pushables in the room. On the very top of both of them you will notice, one says N and the other says S. This stands for North and South. Go ahead and access your inventory and click on your compass. It will stay still (the red marker points to which direction you are facing). Push the N Masonic pushable on the red tile to the north, and pull the other S Masonic pushable back to the red tile on the South side of the room. If both of them are in the correct position you should hear a door open. Head through the door and collect your second Golden Serpent’s Red Key (#2). As you pick up the key a trapdoor will open behind you and another door back down on the main floor has now opened giving you access back to the main hall. Go through the trapdoor. And head back down the climbable wall. You can safely use this wall to return the ground. Go through the now opened door (there’s a masonic texture right under the door to identify it) and head back to the main hall.

Through this door there is a tricky jump. Move to the far right and do a maximum jump. As you proceed, you will encounter two more rats. Climb up the bookcase and head to your left, slide down. You should spot a UZI CLIP item. Pick it up and trigger music. Slide down and return to the main hall. Now let’s go for our third key. There is red chair right ahead in the main hall near the big red flag. Behind the chair is a lever switch. Pull it and you should see a fly-by of the door that opens. Behind you is a crawlspace with UZI CLIP & FLARE INV ITEM. Go through the now opened door. There is a huge series of slopes here so you may want to save. Head down to slopes. Try to always face forward. Jump through the plinth blade. And rush through the breakable floor tiles. Right, left, left, right. Brace yourself, because you could easily miss the final secret.

*If you obtain this secret, the Gematria puzzle can be skipped! On the last breakable floor tile, do a walking maximum jump to an invisible tile right ahead of you. And pick up the final Golden Red Rose SECRET #2. Head through the crawlspace shoot the shatter and pickup another SHOTGUN ITEM. Climb up and you will notice FAITH on the wall with its numeric value underneath it. If you miss the secret, this will be your hint to pass the puzzle. F+A+I+T+H 6+1+9+20+8 = 44. Four pickups UZI ITEM, UZI CLIP, BIG MEDIPACK and finally DESERT EAGLE CLIP. This item will trigger a dog. Now proceed through the illuminated door and end him.

If you missed the final secret you will fall into the water and be invited to a reptile crocodile. Proceed to the left and there is an opening. To your left is a pickup of a UZI CLIP. Go back and climb all the way up. Proceed all the way though and reach the top and you will enter the Gematria puzzle room. It doesn’t matter which way you go but you must select the correct three switches that words equal 44.

These are the three switches you need to pull in order to open the trapdoor that is above you when you entered this room. CHILL and SEA are both to the very right of the room, pull the correct switch or you will die. Now head to the far left side of the room where the dog statue is. Near him on the black/white tile there is a FLARE INV ITEM on it. Pick it up and you will trigger the dog. End him. Behind the dog and the casket to the right is where you will find SHIP and HAARP. Pull the correct switch. Now head back out and straight ahead is a small opening behind another casket. Go through it, and you will find your hint to solve the puzzle and the word CARGO. Pull this correct switch and you should hear the trapdoor open. Go back from where you entered this puzzle room and climb up.

KEY #3

You are now in the dining hall/theater room. If you got the final secret, you will enter this room through the illuminated door. Either way let’s proceed. There is a BIG MEDIPACK on top in the center of the floor near the big purple curtain. Pick it up and you will trigger a dog. End him.

Now you may notice more boxes and one of them is pushable. It’s kind of hidden but not really. Look to your right of the BIG MEDIPACK or to your left you’ve just entered the room. Pull the black/red pushable back once and climb up more boxes to your left. Make the jump behind you and you should trigger music. Now make your first maximum jump to the first chandelier. If you look ahead, there is a crack of a hidden pushable. And behind you is a closed door. Let’s head to that pushable. Make several maximum jumps all the way over. Once you reach the pushable, push it forward all the way. Come back to the other side of the pushable and pull it back. This will allow you to push this pushable all the way in the corner. Come back around and do this. Once that’s done, you may notice a SHOTGUN AMMO 1 on the ground. Pick it up and it will trigger rats. Now head back out to the chandeliers. Before you leave this section look to your right and there is another hidden pushable with a lever switch behind it. Pull it back twice, circle around and pull the lever switch. This will open the door on the other side of the room that was once behind you. Make several maximum jumps back to that side and go through the now opened door. Another lever switch is there with a fly-by camera of a lowered chandelier near the center. Come back out and listen to the music. Make the two maximum jumps to your left. Go to the second chandelier. The one near the purple curtain. Look to your right to the lowered chandelier. Now you should be able to make another maximum jump over to this lowered chandelier. Make another jump over to the other side. There is a black/red pushable to your right. Push it forward to find a SMALL MEDIPACK. Go to the left and climb up. If you look down there are three trapdoor with your third key. You need to find the hidden lever to open them. Head up through the wood structures. All the way back towards the purple curtain. If you look up and to your left, you should spot the lever switch. Go ahead and pull it and it will open the three trapdoors. There are three pickups in the wood structure section. SHOTGUN AMMO 2, UZI CLIP, and FLARE INV ITEM. Now head back to the trapdoors, climb down and pick up the third Golden Serpent’s Red Key (#3). Music will play and an exit door will open to your very right. Climb up and head out up to the stairs to your right. As you exit, you will trigger a dog. End him. If you head to the right toward the golden brick bridge on the very top is a UZI CLIP.

KEY #4

Now let’s collect our final key. Head back down to the main hall and right underneath the golden brick bridge is another opening. Straight ahead you will find a SARCOPHAGUS with your final key inside. Open it and collect the final Golden Serpent’s Red Key (#4). This will also open a trapdoor that is behind you to where you can enter the four keys. Go ahead and proceed forward to two dogs. End them. Now insert the four Golden Serpent’s Red Keys (1-4) on each side. Once you do this, a block will be raised giving you access to a switch. Pull the switch and this will move the casket behind you backwards. Giving you access to a hidden pathway. Head down through the short tunnel. Down the pathway, you will enter a train station and a SAS will appear. End him. The final illuminated door will open on the red train and the level will end.
