After the fly-by showcasing the initial area is over, slide down the hill and you are greeted by two tigers. Fend them off and proceed towards the tent to retrieve some flares, then make your way towards the SW corner, killing any snakes you come across.

You'll no doubt notice three obvious blocks lined up in a corner, so pull them back out to reveal a hole hidden behind them. Drop in, kill another snake and crawl into the tiny passage for the WHEEL OF THE LAW ARTIFACT (
SECRET #1). Climb back out and head towards the W end, locating a slightly raised floor right behind a tall stone pillar.

Line up with the pillar and backflip onto the hill, then jump off and grab the edge to pull up onto the tall pillar. This might take a few tries and some proper positioning, but don't worry as you'll eventually make it. Turn to face South and perform a running jump (no grab) towards the lower part of the pillar right in front of you.

In the alcove straight ahead is a door which requires two puzzle pieces we've yet to procure, so make a mental note and ignore it for now. Turn towards the W wall and again, jump towards the lowest corner of the pillar on the left side. You can jump over the bush into the small alcove for a large medipack, however take care not to slip. From the next pillar, jump towards the jutting rocks on the wall and shimmy all the way to the right side. Near the passage, let go and immediately backflip to land on the next rocky pillar.

Before jumping into said passage you can retrieve mushrooms from to the nearby lower pillar. Crawl inside and you'll no doubt notice the boulder lingering above your head; save your game. At the end of the slide ahead of you, jump to keep Lara's momentum and do a running jump towards the stone bridge, aiming towards the right to get out of the boulder's trajectory. You're not out of the woods yet, as another boulder is coming from the other side of the bridge, so quickly tap back and grab the edge. Pull onto the stone bridge when it's safe.

Retrieve the flares and grab the invisible crack behind the fern on the pillar near the lion statue and shimmy around the corner, then crawl inside and retrieve the BODHI TREE ARTIFACT (
SECRET #2), get back onto the bridge and jump towards the rocky ledges in the ravine. Carefully hop to the next one (you can't grab the edge), then use the crack on the wall to shimmy towards the exit.

Kill the soldier and collect the mushrooms at the end of the steps before jumping onto the tall rocky pillar right ahead of you. Collect the flares from the next one and notice the ROCKET LAUNCHER on a small flat spot of the hill. Before getting it, however, collect the SYMBOLS PART 1 on the plateau to the left, which in turn triggers some soldiers shooting from behind the tent. Grab the extra firepower and slide down to the base camp to dispatch the enemies.

Get back on top of the rocky pillars using the slide jump off the W end, but this time, jump from the pillar near the closed door towards the pillar behind the spikes. Retrieve the MP5 RIFLE and keep negotiating the jumps, always mindful that you can't grab the sloped edges. For the last jump, you need to run up and jump off the highest edge, grabbing the slope ahead at the last second, then climb up and hop towards the next edge as you slide.

Shoot the debris blocking your path and head inside. A snake and a crocodile will attack, deal with them and collect the ammo from the small pond nearby. Shoot the debris ahead and use the rocky pillars to reach the lion statues where another tiger will ambush you. Some ammo lie at the feet of the statues, and your goal is to jump towards the tallest rocky pillar in the center of the area where you'll find the SYMBOLS PART 2 and the UZIS. Don't be hasty to drop down, however, as an ice spirit is on its way to you; quickly hop back across the pillars all the way to the small pond in the corner room you just came from.

Now, with both pieces in hands, once again climb up the rocky pillar on the W side and finally jump towards the closed door. Use the combined symbol pieces on the receptacle and the face door will slowly open. Shoot the barrel for some flares and grab the wall crack at the end of the passage.

From the platform on the corner, turn around and locate the next crack, shimmy around the corners and climb up when you can. Quickly dispatch the bats before they knock you off and collect the BOW. Your next objective is to perform a "banana jump" to land on the platform right behind the pillar blocking your path.

Monkey swing to the jutting rocks and shimmy around the corner. Save your game, as you now have a tight boulder run to conquer. Sprint down the slope, rolling to grab the edge and quickly let go to avoid a hard landing, then immediately jump forwards to regain momentum and time a running jump to grab the edge on the opposite wall as the boulder drops into the pit below.

Shimmy around the corner and backflip off the slope to land on a block. Time your jumps past the swinging logs, grab the edge of the last platform and let go to slide down a slope, then jump to grab the crack in the wall. Shimmy around the left corner and drop off on another slope, backflip with a mid air twist to slide the next one facing forwards, then keep jumping back and forth as you steer towards the raised slope to the left. When you land on it, grab the edge and shimmy all the way to the left and climb up near a closed door with elephant decoration. We'll be back shortly; for now, locate the jutting rocks on the wall and climb down to the bottom.

Collect the supplies in front of the colored statues and pull up into the opening on the E wall, immediately killing off two soldiers who'd been waiting for you. We are again on the lookout for two puzzle pieces, so let's work our way up first. Use the rocky platforms where the soldiers were to hop across the small pond. One level up, time your jump past the logs and grab the crack in the far wall, shimmying around the left corner.

Turn around and climb the jutting rocks on the wall to the next level, where a double-headed tiger awaits. Push the block in the S corridor all the way in, then shoot the barrier to come up to another two blocks. Take the one on the left and push it all the way in, shoot the barrier and loop around the column to push the block into a niche and clear the path.

Now, use the new passage to pull out the other block and, again, loop around the blocks to push this block into its niche. Behind it was, yes, another block! Pull it out once and loop around the clear passage to push it into the nearby niche. While at it, notice the floor pattern: this marks your exit route when we're done here.

At the S end of the patterned floor lies another block you must pull out. Pull it back enough times that you can loop around the corner and pull it sideways to clear the corridor. Shoot the barrier and pull out the block on the right wall once, then push it towards the exit, blocking it for a brief moment, then pull the block that was hidden behind once and loop around the corner to retrieve RELIQUARY TOWER ARTIFACT (
SECRET #3), now go back and clear the exit by moving the block back into its original position.

Slide into the skeleton pit where you'll be ambushed by two soldiers and their pet snake, then collect the flares and mushrooms when it's safe. In case it wasn't shattered during combat, destroy the debris atop the block near the middle and pull up (from its back side) to reach the jutting rocks on the wall. From the alcove above, deal with the bats and shatter all debris around the perimeter, then hop and shimmy across the flat spots to reach an alcove in the E wall with a lever. Push it and retrace your steps back to the area prior to the push block maze (follow the floor with the tiled pattern), dealing with the two-headed beast on your way.

Use the raised block to reach a crack in the E wall and shimmy around the corner to pull up. Climb onto the soil block, and then jump to the purple-ish slope above to backflip and grab the ledge right above you. Shimmy to a flat platform in the end and turn around, grab the slope ahead with a running jump and jump off to the flat block ahead. Spot a platform on the NW corner, blocked by a soil pillar. From the rock, a running jump will get you there.

You can grab another BOW here, but, most importantly, the LASER SIGHT from a nearby ledge. Combine both to shoot a bell up on the E wall to open the gates on the W side, jump back to the previous platform and hop towards the open gate to retrieve flares and the YIN PIECE.

Dive into the pond way below and gather some arrows, then pull out of water on the lower ledge on the N wall, taking notice of an opening just out of reach. Pull up the ledge you entered this room from and do a running jump into said opening in the N wall; you might want to hold down the Action button to glide in. Crawl into the next room and dispatch the two snakes before dropping into the chamber below.

Appreciate the ominous music while you assess your situation. There's a spiked wall, a closed gate, and a lever lined up with a boulder trap. Throw the lever, backflip with a mid air roll and quickly rush into the open gate to avoid all traps. Clear the swinging logs with timed jumps and defeat the two stone monkeys on the other end. They leave behind some flares and an ANCIENT SHAFT KEY, which opens the door right in front of you.

Climb the pillar behind the gold statue to the top and stay as close to the right edge as possible. Backflip with a mid air roll and steer left so Lara lands on a higher platform. Follow the catwalk to the end and do a standing jump to grab the swing poles ahead, then just let go of the forward key to clear the jumps and land into an alcove. Jump at an angle to grab the upper ledge on the SW side and approach the timed lever at the end. Save your game.

This is a tight timed run: throw the lever, immediately roll and sprint towards the other end, letting go of the sprint key near the end so you keep enough momentum to do a running jump and grab the block right ahead. Quickly line up and run jump to the slope ahead, bounce off steering to land on the catwalk and rush through the open door in the nick of time.

Once you've rid yourself of the tiger inside, activate the jump switch and take one of the torches with you (spare torches are available but should not be necessary), as well as the mushrooms. Outside, on the tile after the door, look down to spot the platform near the green lion statue. Back up and run off the ledge to land on it, with torch in hand, and turn around to spot the open door.

Jump inside and follow the grassy path to a room with slopes and two soldiers. Once you're in the clear, keep your torch close to the lever in the corner as we now need to be quick to light it up. Throw the lever and immediately pick up your torch, then jump off the lowest slope and quickly hop across the platforms as you make your way upwards to the burning fire at the top ledge. Light your torch up but be careful not to set Lara herself ablaze!

With a burning torch in hands, return to the previous room (watch out for an inbound beast) and jump towards the green lion statue, light up the torch on the wall behind it to release a pushable hydra statue below. You no longer need a torch. Grab the hydra statue and drag it through the open door into the room where you fought the two stone monkeys. There are four floor tiles with an ornate pattern: move the statue on top of each one at least once and a nearby door opens, granting you the YANG PIECE.

Time to backtrack. Hop past the swinging logs and activate a jump switch that was behind the spike wall. This raises a nearby block which grants you access to the ledge above. Crawl through the passage and you're back in the pond; jump towards the colored lion statues and climb up the wall to the locked door.

Use the combined yin-yang symbol pieces on the circular receptacle ahead of you, then pull up through the open door with the elephant motif. Shatter the debris ahead of you and an ominous musical cue sets the mood. Save your game. It's possible to do this in one run (and you can make quicksaves if you feel you're doing well), but you can also go ahead and disarm the boulder traps before you go for the real timed run. Your call.

The lever on the wall to the right opens a gate on the other end of this area. Run past the first set of boulders, jumping to the slope near the wall and quickly turning to jump to a crack on the left wall. Shimmy around the far corner and notice a floating block nearby. A boulder will drop as soon as you step on it, so quickly hop back to safety. Afterwards, you need to do a running jump at an angle to grab a ledge behind the pillar to your left, pull up and jump to an even higher ledge. Finally, quickly glide into the open gate to bypass the last boulder.

Retrieve the ammo and slide into the next room where you face off a brahman statue. When the encounter is over, step on a white tile in the back corner to raise a nearby block and then climb into a crawl space to retrieve the GREEN ORB. Place it on the receptacle near the closed door and walk towards the tombstone and this raid comes to an end.
