NOTE OF WARNING: This walkthrough for Spooky Places may have a couple of mistakes.

Story for Spooky Places: This adventure features young Lara as she explores a lost civilization that has been recently discovered. Lara will be exploring the area
in search of 3 secrets and several golden skulls. Have fun!

Walkthrough:

As the level opens Lara is standing on a step. You will need to hop back and then take a running leap forward to reach the green area. There is a cavern beneath you that you may want to explore but I suggest
you wait since there are a couple of doors that need to be opened first. For now run along the green moving forward while avoiding the open areas on the ground
and hop over the side to the brick structure. There are two torches and a gong on a ledge. They are just for display. Notice the roses growing on the wall.

Climb up the rose ladder and when you are near the top do a backward jump turning in mid-air and grab the ledge behind you. Pull up and stand on the column.

Face the next column to the left and after stepping back take a running leap and you should be standing on the next column with the rope dangling above you. Center yourself under the rope facing the gong display and you should see a ladder. Jump up and grab the rope and swing toward the ladders. Release and grab the ladders
(this may take a couple of tries) and pull yourself up onto the ledge. Run to the center where there is a golden skull. Grab the skull and jump back, run forward and take a giant leap and grab the ledge in front of you. Shimmy to the left and pull up on the ledge with a ladder nearby. Climb the ladder and go to the center area where there is a lever switch.

Pull the switch and go through the open door. There is a small drop at the end and another skull and another lever. Get the skull and pull the lever. Go back the way you came and jump up facing the wall and climb back onto the ledge. Return to the center area and go through the next open door. There is a skull on the grating floor. Through the grating you can see a couple of unlucky explorers and a couple of levers as well. You will get to those later.

For now, go forward to the lever on the ledge and pull it. Go back out and return to the center area and through the next opened
door. There is a waterfall and small pool. In the pool is a medical pak. On the top of the waterfall is another skull so go and get that and then pull the center lever. Some rumbling can be heard. Go back out and to the center area and through the last opened
door. You will find yourself in a large room with a pool. Above you there is a lever on a magical platform and a large door to open.

Turn to your right or left and climb the wall and go up the platform. Once at the
top turn and go through the center opening into a hallway. Go straight ahead and to the edge. Jump back and take a giant running leap and Lara will just be able to grab the transparent ledge. Pull up and then pull the lever. Turn to your right quickly to see the
large door opening. As you did before take another giant running leap. This may take a few tries so save your game here before you attempt the jump.

Once you have grabbed the ledge, pull up and look up at the footbridge. There is a ladder nearby. Find it and climb up to the bridge. It will start to collapse once you are on it. Run quickly to your right until you are on the ledge at the end. Turn and jump up into a small room with a lever. Push the lever and watch a camera shot of a trapdoor opening in another area you will get to soon. Now do a safety drop from the ledge onto the ledge below or just jump down onto the ledge. Now you can go through the large doorway. You will have to hop over the dog statues to get through the opening.

Once through there will be a crocodile taking a relaxing swim in a shallow pool.
Just run through or go around to the window in the brick wall. Jump up and pull yourself through the opening and drop down on the other side. There is a ladder around and to your left. Climb up the ladder and pull both of the levers at the top. A door will open below you and to the right while another door opens further down. Go through the open door and you will find yourself near some lava.

Take a standing leap with a grab to get onto the monkey bars above you. Climb through as far as you can and turn to face the back wall before dropping onto the slope. Slide
but be prepared to grab the ledges as you slide backward for a soft landing. If you slide forward Lara may not survive the slide. The door is open at the bottom. You are back where you began the level. It isn't time to explore the cavern yet so go the way you did in the beginning and over the ledges to the buildings and the rose ladder area. Just continue past the buildings and keep running forward toward the brick wall and the forest beyond.

There is a place to climb over on the left of the brick wall. Once over you will be in the forest. Ahead of you is a large waterfall. Go to the waterfall front and slightly left of center to pull up onto the wall.

Run along the top to the back of the waterfall and climb the bricks on your left. Drop down. There is a passageway on the left and the first secret(a large medical pak or skull). There is a climbable surface to your left as you leave the small tunnel. Climb back out onto the ledge and notice the small medical pak on the waterfall wall. Go get it. Near this area is another passageway. If you are standing facing the top of the waterfall the passageway is on your right from where you picked up the small medipak. You may be able to see the top of the entrance from where you are standing. It is very dark so just leap over until Lara drops down or is standing above the opening.

Once there you will have to crawl into the opening at first but then you can stand. Go down the path and follow it to your right and at the end pull up and into a room with two levers. To your left is a dungeon. Next to the levers is another skull. After you grab the skull pull the levers. Jump down and go around to the left and through an opening. Follow it around until you are inside the dungeon. Pick up the medical pak and compass and return to the room with the two levers.

Now climb back onto the platform and run across and go around to your right. There is an opening and a pool of water. Swim through the opening below you. Now you are in a magical room with a reflection of Lara, a
crocodile and a skull within the mirror! *note: There is a sort of bug here that makes it look as though the two Laras are attached by a long rope. It doesn't
interfere with game play so I left it alone. Not sure how to fix this.))

OK; Swim through the opening in the wall and go through the passageway stopping to get air along the way. At the end swim down into the room with the crocodile and grab the skull and go back the way you came to escape the croc. Get some air on the way back and swim back through and out to the room with the two levers and dungeon. Return through the viney passageway and back the way you came in. Once at the end jump up and grab the wall and climb out next to the waterfall. Get back onto the waterfall wall and jump into the pool below. Swim through the opening and follow the passageway. Pull up at the end.

You are in a room with a skeleton, a golden skull and a lever switch. Pull the switch and climb up the ladder. In the path ahead is another switch. Push the lever which will open a trapdoor back in the area with the rose ladder and the gong on the ledge. The opening is on the ground next to the pillars across from the rose ladder. Pull up at the end and out onto the rocky ledge and return to the rose ladder area.

Jump into the opening and swim pull up and push the next lever in a small room which opens out into a large granite cave. Jump onto the transparent block and grab the rope when you can. Swing from the rope and onto the ledge. Eventually pull the lever and get the skull and pull up out of this area. Follow the path until you come to the next lever and a ladder. Push the lever and climb up and out. You are once again in the cavern. Watch out for three very hungry crocodiles. Now the silvery blue door should be open. Look for any skulls or medipaks and proceed into the open doorway which leads into a cave. Watch out for a different enemy here.

Climb the rock wall at the end and pull up into a dark room with a lever switch. Over next to the wall opposite the switch is a hole in the floor and secret #2 (medical pak). Grab that and return to the switch, pull it and jump back to avoid the trap. You have also awakened an annoying mummy. Sidestep the mummy and climb the surface near the ledge where you entered and into a room above you.

Watch out so your face doesn't get eaten off by crocs! When you can pull up and run down the path while avoiding the lava areas. At the end climb up the rocky surface and continue to climb up until you are in the
dungeon. There are two levers and a skull to grab.

Pull the levers and grab the medipak and skull. More rumbling noises are heard. Go back the way you came. Lara will have to crouch and lower herself backwards to return to the lower ledge. The lava has flooded the
room! Make sure Lara has full life. Lara will have to take a standing leap with a grab to grasp the ceiling so she can monkey swing across. Near the end of the tunnel Lara can drop to the ledge below. You will have to be careful not to go all the way to the end or Lara will fall into the room below and die. Drop almost at the end and onto the rock below. Turn and climb back down into the room below where you released
the mummy. He is still wandering around. The door is open so go through and at the end you will be in a dwelling area.

Open all the levers and explore the rooms. One of the rooms has a lever switch up on a
ledge as well as secret #3 (a skull). You will encounter a few minor baddies. Once you have explored and opened the doors go out into the path with the roses. The blue lightning at the end of the path signals the end of the level. Congratulations! )
