You
start in an enclosed corridor and run forward to get a normal camera view. Go
east and push a big button. A door opens to the south beside you. Pick up crossbow explosive ammo and see another closed door.
Do not go between the pillars or spike balls drop onto your head. Go west
towards the steps. Pick up the laser sight from
a steamy pedestal. Go to the north-west corner and pull back the tower one
tile. Go to the north-east to the open door and pick up the crossbow. Turn to the east and use the floor lever to
open the second north door. Destroy the skeleton and
run to the end of the tunnel. Climb the block to see another closed door. Turn
around to the south and pull up to a higher tunnel. Use the floor lever and
hear a door open. Go back north and enter the open door.
Drop down into the church and get a flyby of the
church that shows many closed doors. Go to the south-west corner and shoot a
vase for crossbow explosive ammo. The other
vase in the opposite corner is empty. Run north to the closed door and attract four skeletons to destroy. Go to the south entrance
and wait for two mummies to get close together
to destroy. Go down the center aisle and look west to see a medipack on the
floor. Sprint down that aisle while a spike ball falls behind you. Pick up the small medipack and climb over the slopes to go north.
The north door is open so enter the room.
You get a flyby of the room with burning tiles and
a safe walkway to a floor lever in the south-east corner. Getting there is a
lot of work as the flyby never stopped and the view is rotating. When you use
the floor lever, you hear a door open and the flyby stops. Turn and look to the
north-west to see the open door and a differently colored wall. Walk off the tile
and the rotating view starts again. Go over to the open door and pull up. Look
up to the south-west and see a higher ledge. Jump and grab that ledge and pull
up onto it. Look north-east and jump into the hole at the differently colored
wall. You get secret #1 and the grenade gun.
Get back to the ledge and follow it around the
room. You pass a closed door and continue to the south-east corner. Use the
floor lever and get a cut scene of a door opening. Now return back to open door
near the secret. Enter the tunnel and go to the end. Start to slide down the
slope and jump and roll so you are sliding down backwards. You get a cut scene
of a spike ball. Grab at the end and shimmy to the left before a spike ball
rolls over you. Shimmy to the left until you can pull up onto a ledge. Go east
and enter a tunnel. Follow to where the tunnel splits. The south tunnel is a
wall dart trap. Go east and the middle tunnel has deadly fire tiles. Go to the
end and turn south into a tunnel with a floor lever. Use the floor lever and beetles attack. Exit the tunnel and a mummy and a skeleton
attack. Run back through the tunnel to the ledge and jump off into a deep pit
with water.
Swim to the south-west corner and enter the
underwater tunnel. Follow the tunnel to pull up into a small room for flares. Then drop into a water hole in the south-east
corner. Swim through the underwater tunnel to another small room. Go to the
south-west corner and turn around and look up. Start climbing up to the next
ledge and continue this method for a while. Eventually you pull up into a room
and get a flyby. Be careful of the fire when entering the room. There are two
closed doors and two floor levers in the east wall. Use the left floor lever
but jump back quickly as a spike ball falls down. Use the right floor lever and
get a cut scene of the closed right door. Go to the closed right door and it
opens for you. Enter and use the floor lever and the closed left door opens.
Enter there and kill a skeleton. Use the floor lever and exit back into the
room. Go up the stairs at the west wall. Pick up a small
medipack and continue through the open door. The door closes behind you.
Go to the end of the tunnel and push the big button. Then exit back into the
church.
Turn left and a door opens for you. Follow the
tunnel until the tunnel splits. In front of you is a spike trap. Go through the
door to the west and just follow the tunnel into a large room. Run to the end
and pick up Horseman's Gem. You get a cut scene
of a door opening. Turn around and kill six skeletons
as you leave the room. Run back up the tunnel to the split.
Save the game at this point. Do NOT do the
following as it leads to a dead end. But you may be as curious as I was. Jump
over the spike trap and go north. When you see a spike ball, roll, and run
back. Jump over the spike trap and the spike ball falls into it. Go back up the
tunnel and pass a closed door. Fall into a hole in front of a big button. Save
the game at this point. Push the big
button and quickly jump back to the tunnel and loop around through the timed
door. If you miss the door you have to reload, as the big button cannot be
reset. You enter back into the room with the rotating view. And you are stuck
with no exit.
Reload back to the tunnel split. Go south and exit
back into the church and the door closes. Loop to the right and pull up into
the entrance tunnel. Exit back to the starting room and go to the south wall.
The second closed door is open and you face a room of slopes. The camera view
hides everything. Jump forward and jump off the slope to a level platform. You
see a floor lever in the north-west corner. You see a closed door in the
south-west corner. Jump south to another flat column. Jump south and then west
over some slopes to another flat platform. Jump and grab the slope to the west.
Pull up and follow the slopes to the north-west corner and use the floor lever.
Go east and jump the slopes back to the flat column at the east wall. Go back
to the flat platform and run south. Then jump the west slopes to the open door.
Enter the open door and get a flyby of a large room
with a blue walkway. Turn south and push a big button. Four doors to the north
are opened. Go north and find two floor levers. The first opens the door to the
north so you can access the next walkway. The second releases a skeleton. Jump the gap and you find four floor levers.
Do not use the first, as it starts fires under two floor levers. Use the second
and two doors open to the north. Do not use the third, as it starts a stream of
wall darts. Do not use the fourth, as it releases beetles.
Go north to the open doors for grenade normal ammo
and grenade super ammo. Go west and use the
floor lever. You can see a door open at the south wall. Continue along the
walkway and push the big button. Turn and see that a door has opened back by
the four floor levers. Go back to the door and step on a black tile. You see
that a fire has stopped on a walkway to your right. You can run around and use
that walkway to jump a gap to get to the open door at the south wall. Go there
and use the floor lever. This opens a door at the north wall. Run over the
walkways to get there and step on a black tile. Look south and see that a fire
has stopped on another walkway. Go to the tile were the fire was located and
start pulling up onto blocks and onto a higher walkway.
Follow the walkway and climb two more blocks. Jump
a gap to another walkway and run north to the end. Slide down to the west and
land in front of a closed door. Run and jump to the five blue tiles to the south.
Use the floor lever and jump back to the open door. Enter the tunnel and the
door closes behind you. Follow the tunnel and see a closed door. Go to the
branch tunnel. Kill three skeletons and a mummy. Use the floor lever at the end of the tunnel
and return back to the open door. You find another closed door and a branch
tunnel. Go to the end of the branch tunnel. Step on a tile and hear a door
open. Destroy a skeleton and a mummy on the way back to the open door.
You now enter a tunnel with another closed door to
the west. Go east to see a closed door and a branch tunnel. Take the branch
tunnel and go south. Go right at the first junction and follow the tunnel for a
small medipack. Then return and continue south
to the end. Use the floor lever and return to the west door that is now open.
Enter the tunnels there to kill a skeleton and
use the floor lever. Exit and see the door at the east end of the tunnel is
open. Kill another skeleton in the tunnel. As
you enter the open east door, two doors close behind you. Look to the north and
slide down the slope and enter another tunnel.
Follow the tunnel and slide down a slope. Follow
the next tunnel and when it goes to the east, you see a branch tunnel. Follow the branch tunnel to enter a room.
Hop onto the central structure and shoot the vases. Pick up two blue shotgun shells, red shotgun shells, shotgun, two
small medipacks, crossbow normal ammo, crossbow explosive ammo, grenade normal
ammo, large medipack, three revolver ammo, and the revolver. Exit back to the tunnel and continue to the
east. Slide down a slope into another tunnel. Follow the tunnel to slide down a
slope and land in front of a blue tile.
Run over the tile and follow the tunnel to drop
into some water. Swim into the south-east tunnel. You were here before and the
beetles are still here. Now the tunnel is flooded. At the first branch, swim to
the east. Then swim into the first south tunnel. When this tunnel was dry, the
floor here was a fire trap. Swim into a flooded room and pull up on the stairs
at the south wall. Follow the stairs up and enter a tunnel. Just follow the
tunnel to an apparent dead-end. An elevator will instantly bring you up higher.
Two more elevators and then turn south. Jump up and grab a ledge. Pull up into
another tunnel and continue to a closed door. Push a big button and the door
opens. You enter the church again and the door in the west wall opens.
Go to the west and enter the corridor. The black
opening to the right is a fake and not really an opening. Run west to the end
of the corridor and the level ends.
