How do I make an appointment to see my child's teacher or the School Management Team? The school has a very open aspect, and a large grass area surrounds the building, providing attractive gardens and play areas. The request for a transfer to King’s Park is generally made during a student’s initial EHCP assessment, and then after that at the annual review process. The school is currently organised in four main departments - Primary, Secondary, an all-age Enhanced Support Area, and a department of Practical and Aesthetic subjects which comprises of Art, Home Economics, Music and Physical Education. Each department is led by a member of the Senior Management Team. Newhaven King’s Park campus is a specialist provision for Key Stage 3,4 and 5 pupils with a diagnosis of autism and an Educational Health Care Plan. The local authority SEND section would support the application process.
