Lara hears of a new passage just unearthed within the Catacombs of Egypt. Realizing that it might be well worth her time to investigate she gets on a plane from London to Cairo, where she is then driven to Alexandria. She expects to find nothing more than some passages and inscriptions, but she soon realizes that this is more than she had bargained for. With her expert archaeologist eyes, she can see that the antiquities team was not the first to find this place and reading a passage on the wall discovers it is the final resting place of a weapon built by Ptolemy II to control the people of the seven continents...a weapon, which is now missing from its pedestal. With the rest of the team asleep under the starry Egyptian sky, Lara ventures into the Catacombs once again to search for this most powerful of relics and...to save the world from destruction once again. In these levels you will search for the first part of the weapon, known as 'North-South' |
