In a dull rainy day Lara was rummaging around in her large library just to struggle against the boredom, when a book fell in her hands. It was a diary of a mysterious traveller. He was telling odd stories about the places he had been. In particular Lara was attracted by what he was writing about Venice: "In a corte (a typical venetian little square, with no outlet, detached from main roads and canals and inside an housing complex) there is a dry fountain. The one who will let it sing again will discover the origin of the typical venetian carnival masks."

"Carnival is finished yet." Lara said. "But spending my Easter Holidays in Venice is a nice idea!"
