TAHIR'S HOUSE
The level starts with
Lara in a vast area outside Tahir’s residence. Turn back West and see a couple
of little houses. Climb upon the one on the right,on which is the HAND OF
ORION. When you pick it up, a camera shows the opening of big doors. Go down
and go East along the left wall, at one point you will find CARTOUCHE PIECE 1. The
doors on the left can’t be opened, on the other side are the big doors you have
opened earlier. As you enter Thir’s residence, a camera flyby shows a cartouche
receptacle on the left (one of the main house entrance), a long alley at the
end of which is another smaller house, then a floor lever at the top of the
main house.

Go forward all the way
of the long alley to arrive in a courtyard, you see flares on a block. Don’t go
there yet, but aim to the South-West corner of the courtyard where you can
climb on the roof of the smaller house. There are doors up there and a floor
lever. Pull it to trigger a second camera flyby that shows the opening of a
door inside the main house. Don’t go down yet but turn back and hop a block. Make
a running jump from this roof to the roof of the main house to pull the floor
lever that was shown in the first flyby. This opens the door of the smaller
house South West. You are not finished yet on this roof. There are a couple of
blocks along a wall. Go to the second one, you will have a fixed camera as a
hint, and notice a different patterned tile on this block. Step on it to open
another door inside the main house. Now you are done, go East to the whiter
part of the roof and jump to get the flares. Go down and enter the smaller
house by the opened gate. Place the Hand of Orion, in the next room pick up
CARTOUCHE PIECE 2. A ninja has been alerted, kill him, exit this house and go
North all the way of the long alley, and turn right to the cartouche
receptacle. Kill 4 ninjas , combine the two pieces of the Cartouche and place
the Cartouche of Ba.
Inside the main house
You are now inside
Tahir’s main house. Notice the closed door in front of you. Go South and on the
right climb into a crawlspace and pick up the HAND OF SIRIUS. You can wander in
the house a bit to notice the bedrooms. Go South and place the Hand of Sirius. In
the next room, pull the floor lever in the corner. Kill the ninja who comes
from the outside by another door. Don’t go outside yet, but go North-East in
the house: the door you may have noticed earlier is now opened. Pick up the big
medipack, a camera shows the opening of a door outside. In fact this is a door
that was near the floor lever located on the roof of the smaller house. Go
outside the way you want, and like before pull up on the roof of the smaller
house in the South-West corner of the courtyard.
Around the residence
Enter by the opened door
and go right (West). You have a long way to go around the residence before
arriving at the end. There you can climb a ladder on the right wall and shimmy
left. Go on the wall and jump down to the left (South). You still have a long
way to go before a dead end with some blocks and a hole in the ground with a
ladder. At the bottom you find another CARTOUCHE PIECE 1. Climb back up the
ladder and return all the way to where you have started until you see on your
left the opened door and the floor lever on the roof of the smaller house. Continue
ahead (East). At the dead end, you notice on the right a courtyard with a floor
lever behind a range of doors. This courtyard isn’t accessible from this side. Turn
back and look that one of white walls is textured differently from all the
others. It is climbable. Up there make a long journey clockwise above the roofs
of some buildings until the end. Near the end you see an opening on the left
with a Cartouche receptacle. Go to the very end and go down to a block where
you pick up CARTOUCHE PIECE 2. Hop back onto the last roof and jump to the
opening, combine the two pieces of the Cartouche and place the second Cartouche
of Ba to enter in a dark corridor. Slide and jump at the end to not fall down
into a spiked trap. Continue ahead into a long corridor. At one point of that
corridor there is a crawlspace on the left to get the SHOTGUN as a secret. Continue
and eventually you arrive outside again in another part that surrounds the residence.
Go ahead on another long journey, kill everything on your way (you can also get
another secret in a hole with spiked textures but without spikes) until you
arrive at the courtyard with the floor lever. As you activate it, a flyby shows
the opening of a door at the top of blocks outside the residence, this is
located where you started the level. To get back there, dive in the hole of
water near the floor lever, and after a long swim, run up a corridor to a door
that opens on approach: you are back at the beginning of the level. Turn back
and climb down the climbable wall. Kill a couple of ninjas and climb the blocks
in the East to the opened door and slide to the end of the level.
STREETS
You arrive in a street
with the warm Coastal ruins atmosphere, and you are welcomed by a wild boar. As
you progress, a flyby shows the name of the author written in the street. Go
left at the intersection with another street, notice a golden star receptacle
on the right, and go to the end of the street. On the left is a crawlspace
which is the entrance of a little maze. In it you will find pick ups, some
little scorpions and a crocodile. More importantly , there is the golden star
(at the far end left corner of the maze) and a hole of water (far end right
corner). Find the hole of water first, and swim to reach a room with an army of
crocodiles, and the crowbar on a block at the center. Then climb into the
crawlspace in a corner of the room, at the end of the corridor turn back and
climb the wall. After a slide you return to the streets, and can enter again in
the maze to pick up the golden star. Return outside in the street and place the
golden star in its receptacle to end the adventure.
