Walkthrough by Phil Lambeth to supplement the sometimes obscure walk provided with the level download. Saki Croft has provided the only video walk posted to date.

 

 

Level 1: ZIETTA FARM

 

If you wish to be relieved of the distracting action music, delete or rename 094.wav, 105.wav, 107.wav and 108.wav in the audio folder.

 

Shoot the glass barrier blocking the passage, slide down to engage two androgynous baddies and search the corner blocks for a white coffee (small medipack) and a brioche (large medipack). Move the pushpiece featuring a seated figure onto the bright square next to the SW block and the REVOLVER and LASER SIGHT will appear on the central slab. Combine the two, stand where you slid down facing E and zoom in with the crouch key on the huge head. Aim for the lower lip, fire and the head should roll away. Climb up onto the NE block, take a running jump over the gap and climb up S (action and up arrow keys only).

 

Take a running jump to grab the SE block, pull up for a white coffee and take a running jump W to grab the suspended platform. Pull up and jump to the central suspended platform, climb the pole past the ceiling hole and back flip into an upper room. Go around to the E opening and stand jump SE onto a suspended ledge. Take a running jump E to grab the suspended breaktile, pull up and take a running jump a bit to your right to land on a green pyramid. Run forward and pick up the MONEY for SECRET #1.

 

To get down, jump NE onto the ledge between the pyramids, face E and safety drop with some health loss onto a lower ledge with a white coffee. Stand jump NE onto a steep slope, slide near the ground and hop down W. The nearby arrow tile is pointing to the IGNITION KEY, so pick it up and go across to the E side of this vast area. Look for another arrow tile, this one on a block pointing up, climb over and loop around right to find a ladder. Climb to the top of the column, hop up NW into the alcove and pull up N.

 

Turn right and take a running jump down to a ledge with two arrow tiles. Loop around left, jump to the companion column (without a ladder) and hop up into the SW alcove. Pull up N and take a running jump to grab the gap between the columns. Pull up and jump with grab NW to land on another arrow tile. Turn to your right and jump to grab the ladder. Climb up to a ledge with an arrow tile, stand on the tile and take a running jump slightly SE to land on a small ledge to the left of what looks like an upright green paper airplane. Jump E up the nearby slope for a CHICKEN and take a running jump NE onto a ledge with an arrow tile.

 

Pull up three times S, take a running jump with grab over the gap and pull up W onto the green ledge to find another CHICKEN. Go back the way you came, pull up N onto the slope, jump without sliding to grab the next slope, pull up onto a stable surface and jump to grab the ladder surface. Climb a long distance only to find your way blocked by a trap door. Take a rolling back flip to land on a slope, jump without sliding to land on a facing slope, slide to the bottom, grab and shimmy right to pull up onto a ledge with a prehistoric chicken skeleton. Place the two chickens on the rotisseries and a floor lever magically appears between them.

 

Push the lever to start cooking the chickens. Turn around and locate the bird that has appeared at the SW corner. Grab the zip line between its claws and ride down to another prehistoric chicken skeleton. Jump to grab the pole extending from the floor hole and slide down to a fixed camera where you can see movement down below. Grab the nearby white coffee and stand jump S from the red triangular corner or N from the green triangular corner to land on a flat formation. From there you can engage two chicken ahmets and a broom-wielding knight. In my game a knight mounted on a chicken horse was riding in place against a corner where three round structures (giant eggs) are located, and didn't pay me any attention until I shot the eggs and released two hogs and a benevolent baddy who will assist you in the battle unless you happen to target him during the fight.

 

It's necessary for progression to activate the mounted knight by shooting at least the egg closest to him, as when he is dismounted and killed, revolver ammo appears on the central yellow block. When you pick it up, a block is lowered in the ground somewhere in the vicinity. A horde of chick beetles is also released, so quickly head W, climb over the wall and go to the column where you picked up the Ignition Key earlier. Climb the ladder to the top of the column and get into the pickup truck. Drive down the slope and continue left around the corner to find the nearby floor hole where the block lowered.

 

Drop down while steering to your right and fight your way up to ramp to an enclosed area. A grate rises to keep the truck from falling back down. Get out of the truck and pull up S onto a step pyramid. Go around it to the left, and at the SE corner you'll come to a row of safe tiles flanked by burning tiles. Make your way carefully up the safe tiles, stand jump W from the high corner onto a block and stand jump N onto a ledge. When you pick up the white coffee and draw your pistols in compliance with the posted hint, boulders are released but won't harm you. Pull up N onto a triangular ledge and see the shaft guarded by four flames. Stand jump onto a slope, slide and grab and drop down into the water below. Grab 2 x revolver ammo and pull out S for a cut scene and a white coffee.

 

Pull up to the higher ledge, jump to grab the pole and climb up. Turn so that your back is toward the alcove, back flip into the alcove to trigger a cut scene of a nearby area and pull up S. Slide down the other side and make your way to the E area with the green floor. It's safer to take the long way clockwise around the pyramid so you won't risk being killed by the flame tiles. As you approach the E area from the N side you're attacked by locusts as their companion dragon comes into view around the corner. Hop S up the ridged ramp and climb to the top. Push the floor lever to release a benevolent baddy who fires something of a paralyzing nature at the dragon.

 

Hop SE around the corner and climb the long W ladder to the very top of this structure. Jump W to the roof of the adjacent grated structure and climb down the N face. Pick up the MONEY and draw your pistols to hear the chimes of SECRET #2. Watch the ensuing flyby and hang from the floor hole. Drop a harrowing distance into a small pool, pull out and wait a second for the boulder to start rolling down the ramp toward you. Run counterclockwise around the pyramid, go past the now-open gate and mount the pickup truck.

 

Drive to the SE corner where a door has opened and continue into a new area where an immortal Seth is waiting. Unfortunately, you can't simply run over him, so dismount just past the entrance, run E along the path beside the vineyard into an interior passage, turn right and pause for a postcard of MILAN, make sure Seth is close behind and continue over a trigger tile that closes off the opening behind you. Go around the next corner through the exit and a door slams shut behind you, trapping Seth inside the passage. Climb the long ladder ahead, pull up at the top and jump to the adjacent structure. Drop through the floor hole (or climb down the ladder) into a shallow pool and pick up a brioche and MONEY on the bottom for SECRET #3

 

Pull out, jump to grab the ladder and climb back out. Shoot the two heads that face each other N and S (which according to the builder activates two flipmaps), then hop NE onto the column top, face E and jump up to grab the ladder in the overhead shaft. Climb up to the roof, go to the NW corner and stoop to shoot and shatter the flaming stove. Hop over to the platform, look down S and use the combined revolver and laser sight to shoot two similar flaming stoves. Ride the bird's zip line W, release to grab the ladder and climb up to the roof for a white coffee.   

 

Run up to the central monolith, which has a ladder surface, and climb to the top. Look S toward the group mural and find a fourth and final stove (this one not being ablaze) and shoot it to trigger a cut scene showing double doors opening somewhere (it took some effort to restore camera control). Take running jumps and grabs to the two yellow platforms W and S and continue with a running jump onto the ledge where you shot the final stove. Go around the mural left or right and find MONEY on the other side for SECRET #4. Return to the front of the mural, jump to the first yellow platform and safety drop from the far side to the roof.

 

Go to the E edge and use the ladder to climb down as far as you can. Shimmy right or left, pull up into an alcove and use an old trick of questionable legality whereby you hop back and hit the action key just after you've passed the edge so that you'll glide onto the ledge below and avoid any health loss. Safety drop to the ground and run W toward the ladder column you see in the distance. Climb up a bit more than halfway and back flip onto a bridge. Go to the S wall, pull up onto the structure and hop up to the central hole. Safety drop into the water below or use the pole to slide down. Jump into the water if you're not already there and search the floor for an AUNTY PIECE, revolver ammo and a brioche.

 

Pull out, use the pole to climb the shaft and exit, slide down N and hop down to the bridge, go most of the way across and turn left to see a ladder column (the N structure ahead is a deadly red herring). Jump to grab it, climb down, go around to the other side and climb the facing ladder. When you can see the corner of the structure to your right, back flip onto the bridge and pull up at the N side (as before, the S structure leads only to death). Hop up to the central hole where there's no pole this time and drop down into the water. Search the floor for 2 x shotgun ammo on one side and a white coffee, shotgun ammo and the SHOTGUN on the other.

    

Pull out onto the block and use the ladder in the E face of the shaft to climb back out. Slide down S, hop down to the bridge and jump to grab the E ladder column on your left. Climb down to the ground, run E into the next area with the vineyards and return to the pickup truck. Get in and drive along the path into the next area, turn left at the ladder column and continue past the opened double doors to drop to a lower passage. Drive S up the steep ramp, around a prehistoric chicken skeleton and up the narrow ramp to a companion skeleton.

 

Dismount for 2 x white coffee and go around the stone structure to find a floor hole that leads down to a water trench. Jump in, pick up the brioche and swim to the other end where the current will grab you and deposit you at the bottom of a shaft. Climb the N ladder and pull up onto the roof of a long structure. Treat the three knife-wielding baddies as skeletons and shoot off their heads as they awaken so they'll become disoriented and run about aimlessly. Go to the N end and take a running jump to grab the pole. Don't slide to the bottom, but stop when Lara's hips are just above the top of the slope ahead, turn around in place and back flip onto it.

 

Take a running jump NW onto the column and hop over W onto the stone ledge for MONEY and SECRET #5. Jump back to the column, face S and side flip left to land on a slope. Jump off without sliding to grab the ladder, climb to the top, turn around and jump NE onto the column on the other side. Hop up E for MONEY and SECRET #6, jump to the previous column, face S and side flip right onto the slope. Jump to grab the ladder, climb up, turn around and jump N to grab the much longer ladder. Climb to the top and pull up to a fixed camera. Walk forward to a floor hole, turn to face NW and stand jump to grab the unmarked ladder in the W wall. Climb to the ceiling, shift right and drop down into an alcove with MONEY for SECRET #7.

 

Slide down backwards, grab the ladder surface and back flip safely. Climb down the long S ladder, release and slide down to a flat surface. Turn around and slide down further for a brioche. Take a running jump S and grab the suspended platform. Pull up and walk to the far side. Stand jump to grab the ceiling and monkey swing to the S wall. Release, slide and grab the long ladder. Climb to the very bottom and take a rolling back flip to land on a ledge with a second AUNTY PIECE and the GRENADE GUN. Three sprites are flying your way, so take a running jump S onto a lower ledge, drop down into a water hole and wait for the sprites to self-destruct.

 

Note the closed underwater door, pull out of the water, make your way up N and get into the nearby pickup truck that should be facing E. Drive up the blue ramp on the far left and go out onto the narrow N bridge. Go up the ramp to the N wall and follow around to a closed door that opens when you bump against it. Drive inside the small room, dismount and pick up the MONEY for SECRET #8. Exit on foot, slide down the ramps you drove up to get here. When you reach the S bridge, run off left to land on a slope and slide down near an arrow tile which you can safely ignore. If you step on it an adjacent platform rises, allowing you to get back up to the bridge and access a new area W, but this may be intended for later.

 

Make your way up E and turn around to find the ladder on the purplish stone structure. Use it to climb up to the top of the structure for a white coffee and hang right from the other side. Safety drop near a flame-free receptacle, combine the two Aunty Pieces and place the HOLY AUNTY. Safety drop to the ramp and hop down W to be greeted by four skeletal baddies. You don't want to waste valuable revolver ammo shooting off their heads, so outrun them to the W wall and pull up onto a ledge in front of an opening. Target five stoves positioned in alcoves in the pyramid ahead, aiming for the gray lower base. Shooting each one releases a boulder that rolls down the pyramid and falls into a floor hole. When the fifth stove is shot you'll be treated to a series of cut scenes before being taken to the next level.

 

Level 2: ASPIDE PARK

 

Run forward past the brick column and climb over the right side of the W wall to your left (if you climb up the far left side you'll be prematurely transported up to an invisible platform facing a giant Spiderman statue). Push the guy in the wheelchair all the way to the S end of the wall. When you materialize high up in the air, don't hop back or you'll fall to your doom. Walk around the wheelchair and push it onto Spiderman's right hand to lift a door down below.

 

Take a running jump to grab the platform at Spiderman's left hand, pull up next to another wheelchair and hop over NW for a cut-out of LEO. Follow the arrow tiles and jump into the round SE structure. You'll fall into water, so swim to the bottom for a white coffee and MONEY for SECRET #9. Surface, pull up NW opposite the pole and take a rolling back flip to grab the pole. Climb up and turn so that you're facing a spot N directly between the two arrow tiles. Back flip to slide safely down to the floor.

 

Go toward the SW corner where the door lifted, but it's not yet time for you to use the quad bike inside. Instead, place Leo in its nearby designated spot for an overhead cut scene. Run N and climb the wall behind the right leg of the Spiderman statue. Make your way S along the blocks and take a running jump to grab the ladder in the E structure. Climb to the top, and two body lengths past the textured ladder surface take a rolling back flip (grab if necessary) onto a thin ledge. Jump SW onto the more substantial ledge, climb up S, turn and take a running jump N to grab the taller block. Pull up, take another running jump to grab the thin ledge, pull up and run around to the far end.

 

Jump onto the larger structure and climb down the N ladder to meet a hammergod guy at the bottom. Reverse roll and run past him to a floor hole, jump over the gap toward a second hammergod guy and a benevolent baddy who fires at him continuously and eventually kills him if you stick around to watch while hanging on the S ladder. Climb down to the area you saw in the overhead cut scene, pick up the brioche and push the floor lever to open a door beyond the grate in front of you. Now it's time to make use of that quad bike. Get up onto the corner block, pull out W and go past the opened door to the SW alcove.

 

Parking a quad bike in an alcove is never a good idea because of the collision that limits your mobility. You have to mount from the right side, and I was able to get over there only by making a couple of side flips. Anyway, once you're on, drive out and loop around left past the opened door. Turn right and follow the path around the building, and when you see a marked ramp on the E slope to your left, drive up its right side and shatter the glass mural. If you're too far left you'll roll down a slope into a new area and will have to forfeit the next secret. Park the quad bike on the small ledge and save your game here, as you'll find that dismounting in these tight quarters can be quite difficult. Save again once you've managed that.

 

Hop up N onto a block with a striped surface (a visual hint for your forthcoming route). Take a running jump to grab the W ledge, pull up and hop up left onto the higher block. Take another running jump W onto a triangular ledge and hop up SW into the wall gap. Jump N onto the higher ledge and turn left to go through a short passage. You'll run into a force field at the end, so jump straight up to grab an invisible platform and pull up to find MONEY for SECRET #10. Go back the same way you came, but when you reach the E wall use the higher block to your left to make the jump back to the quad bike. 

 

Mount and guide the quad bike down the floor hole to trigger a flyby through the next area. As you can see, quite a bit of platforming is awaiting you. Drive E, run over a baddy and dismount. Continue on foot toward a lone figure (if you pull your pistols you'll target her) and step up to her front side to be transported next to a pole. Climb the pole facing E, and when you reach the top back flip onto the grated structure. Turn around to see two undulating worm men, pick up the nearby revolver ammo and watch the worm men assume a position in preparation for doing some pushups.

 

Shoot the face between the worm men and drop down W to trigger a wave of locusts. Run along the invisible bridge past two oblivious guards and jump right or left onto a worm man's column. Safety drop and slide to a lower bridge, shoot the approaching butterfly woman and go toward the W end of the bridge. Jump up to grab the grate and monkey swing as far W as you can to drop onto a grated structure. Go left for a white coffee and MONEY for SECRET #11. Ride the nearby bird's zip line to the W wall, drop near a brioche, save your game and ride the next bird's zip line to release at the last instant and grab the E grate. Pull up, draw the grenade gun and blow away the mummy.

 

Take a long running jump SE onto a column (if you miss you can always pull up) for a brioche, drop from the E side onto a slope, slide and grab and shimmy left before pulling up and taking a rolling back flip to grab a ledge. Pull up for a white coffee and push the floor lever to open a door down below and release a number of baddies. Jump back W to slide and grab the sloped roof, safety drop and quickly jump to the ground to avoid gunfire from the released baddies. There's also a sword-dragging crusader prowling about below.

 

You can either shoot the baddies or run over them with the quad bike. In either event, drive the quad bike past the opened S door, go down a slope and shatter a glass partition, drive up into the next area and trigger a cut scene, and mow down the baddies you encounter in this area. There's also a mummy and a butterfly woman, but you'll need to dismount and deal with them while evading another slow-moving crusader. Go to the ramp near the W wall and jump to grab the ladder on the column to the right. Climb up, shift left and pull up at the top for the NITROUS OXIDE FEEDER (you were already carrying one in your inventory) and another seemingly endless series of cut scenes.

 

Get down, place the Nitrous Oxide Feeder on the quad bike and drive with speed (sprint key) up the ramp. Clear the gap, land on the structure ahead and hit the brakes (jump key) to stop your forward momentum. Drive left or right around the structure, park near but not on the collapsible wooden bridge and dismount. Go to the SE corner and stand jump to grab the pole. Climb up, and when you're about level with the purple window in the S wall, back flip onto a translucent structure. Safety drop through the central floor hole and pick up the MONEY for SECRET #12. Another pole appears, so climb back up, back flip onto the structure and go to the SE corner.

 

Stand jump to grab the first pole, continue climbing up a long distance and turn a bit to your left to face E. When you're level with a sign that says "don't use grenades here," back flip onto a translucent ledge and run N. By this time you may be taking fire from the baddies posted nearby, but there are two benevolent baddies posted near the NE corner of the ledge. Hop N onto the column, jump to the slope, slide and grab, drop to grab the lower opening and pull up. Crawl around to the other side, jump to grab the other column and pull up. Turn around, jump to grab the block, pull up to the top for MONEY and SECRET #13, then slide down S and jump to land on the column.

 

Jump over to the translucent ledge and try to lure the dangerous baddies over to the benevolent baddies to wake them up, which you probably won't be able to do. In that case, just shoot the bad guys and stand jump from the W side to grab the pole once more. Climb up and turn facing SW so you can back flip onto the central structure, deal with another baddy and shoot the snake-head glass panels. Pick up 2 x revolver ammo and 2 x white coffee and see a cut scene of double doors opening. Find the ladder on the E side and climb down as far as you can. Release to drop and slide onto a giant tongue and jump up W to find MONEY for SECRET #14.

 

Slide back down to the tip of the tongue and dive down into the water below. Two metallic sharks will attack, so quickly surface and pull out E onto a ledge to deal with them. Jump back into the water and search the floor for 3 x white coffee, 2 x revolver ammo and grenades. A third metallic shark will be awakened during your quest, so deal with it and then search the outer ledges for another white coffee. Jump into the water a final time and look for a niche at the W wall where you can pick up MONEY for SECRET #15

 

Pull out NW and climb the long N ladder to a previously visited area still being patrolled by a crusader. Pull up and loop around left past the ramp you drive up earlier. Jump SW onto the slope, slide and grab and shimmy left to a pair of arrow tiles. Pull up anywhere there and take a rolling back flip to grab the structure where you parked the quad bike. Pull up, mount the quad bike and time the collapsing sections of the bridge to drive across past the opened doors into the S building, where you'll be attacked by assorted enemies. Don't bother to stop and engage them, just continue to the back wall and drive up a steep ramp until you reach a trigger tile that opens the door at the base of the ramp.

 

Dismount, run back down the ramp and into the S room, where you'll see a rapidly rotating woman on a raised slab. Pick up the white coffee and a postcard of VENICE, then push the floor lever to destroy the flying phantom that was badgering you and also to open a door somewhere close by. Exit, and for a secret run back up the ramp, mount the quad bike and drive a short distance to the top of the ramp. Dismount, pull up E, look for a slope to your right and save your game. Slide down facing forward, and when you near the bottom jump with a right or left curve to land on a flat surface. The first hole ahead is a death trap, so slide and jump with a curve to land just beyond it so you'll drop into the next hole and find MONEY for SECRET #16. Pull out and slide the rest of the way down to the floor.

 

Run across the room to the NW corner. The only remaining enemy in the area should be a mummy, which you can safely ignore. Pull up into the exit doorway and go through a short connecting passage. Safety drop into the next area to find a waiting quad bike and a handy NITROUS OXIDE FEEDER (although in my case there were still two of them in my inventory). Affix it to the quad bike, drive up the ramp and gun it up the left side to clear a gap and land safely on the other side. You might want to save here in a separate slot. Continue clockwise around the ramp, gun it again to clear another gap in tight quarters (which makes it more difficult than the first jump, so save again when you get there successfully).

 

Continue the rest of the way up the ramp, clear one final gap, dismount and pull up S onto the roof of a small building. Turn around in place and jump straight up to grab a ladder. Climb up through a ceiling hole and step on a trigger tile to open the trap door you surely noted down below. Push the tiny figure in the wheelchair onto the trigger tile, climb back down and drop past the opened trap door onto a grated floor. Slide down N, drop onto a slope below and back flip without sliding into a lower room where you'll find a SHOTGUN and shotgun ammo. Jump back to the slope, slide to the floor and climb onto the central block to end the level.

 

Level 3: TRANSFER

 

For this brief transitional level, take a few steps forward, pick up the IGNITION KEY to trigger a host of enemies (just ignore them) and run forward to the dune buggy. Get in and drive counterclockwise around the ramp until you reach a gray trigger tile that transports you to the top of the structure. Get out, jump into the water in the central hole and allow the current to carry you up to a passage where another dune buggy is waiting. Pull out of the shallow water, grab the postcard of GARDALAND and another IGNITION KEY, get in the vehicle and drive through the glass panel to a dead end. Get out, vault up onto the block, go past the opened door, hop down onto a lower block and face S.

 

Save your game, light a flare, back flip onto a slope and just slide until you reach a marked tile. Jump to land in the S alcove for MONEY and SECRET #17. Drop back down onto the slope and slide the rest of the way down to the floor. Place the three postcards you've accumulated in the picture frames, and you'll be taken to the final level.

 

Level 4: REUNION

 

Shoot the panel in front of you and enter the crawl space. Ignore the enemies down in the hole (which has a deadly floor) and hop with grab into the S alcove for a white coffee and MONEY for SECRET #18. Jump with a curve back to the crawl space opening (or jump straight across N and grab if you dare) and hop over into the N alcove for another white coffee and MONEY for SECRET #19. Jump with a curve back to the crawl space opening, face W and stand jump to grab the ceiling. Monkey swing forward until you can go no further, drop and jump off the slope without sliding to land on a checkered block.

 

Shoot the panel, crawl through and stand jump from the far edge to grab the ceiling. Repeat what you did before, shoot the panel and come to an apparent dead end. Look left, jump SW onto the block, shoot the panel and come to yet another monkey swing and slope. Repeat, shoot a panel, crawl through and jump SW onto the block, shoot another panel, repeat, shoot another panel, repeat a final time (I assume the builder just wanted to showcase all his friends) and come to a large room.

 

Stand jump over the deadly tile to trigger a flyby through the heavily populated area. Go around to your right and pull up on the N side of the ledge the crusader is on. Run past him for MONEY and SECRET #20, hop down and find a pushable child standing at the S side of the ledge. Move her onto the green tile next to the central raised slab for an overhead cut scene, then go over to play chicken with the hammergod guy on the S ledge for MONEY and SECRET #21. Move the nearby bloke in the wheelchair onto the red tile on the other side of the central raised slab, and you'll see something appear on the high ledge near the crusader.

 

Go to the NW corner and climb the translucent ladder where you see the posturing assassin. Pull up onto a catwalk and run S for a cutout of LEO. Take a running jump onto Spiderman's open right hand and jump to grab the platform over his head. Pull up for MONEY and SECRET #22, hop back down to his right hand and jump over onto the catwalk. Stand at the E edge a bit left of the dragon man and take a running jump to grab the suspended breaktile. Pull up and take a running jump onto the block ahead for MONEY and SECRET #23. Turn right, jump over to the green ledge for MONEY and SECRET #24, and go back the other way. You can't reach the far N ledge from here, but you can try. As you slide down the slope, take a rolling back flip and keep the action key depressed to make your way safely down to the floor (cool animation).

 

Climb the NW ladder back up to the catwalk, turn around and take a running jump to grab the suspended breaktile. Pull up, take a running jump to the ledge and pick up the MONEY for a final SECRET #25. Jump to the adjacent S ledge and bump your way down to the floor as before. Climb onto the white block W and place the Leo cutout to raise a block between the two pushpieces. Hop down S, go to the seated figure and push her over the raised block onto the white slab. A door opens above a ladder, so climb up to the catwalk once again, jump onto Spiderman's left hand and climb up to an alcove with an ATM. Place all that money you've collected and enjoy the concluding visuals.
