COLORS: pickups – necessary items

 

 

Outside Areas

Go E to find flares near the penultimate tree to your left, go back to the center of the road and shoot the metal grate in the right side to enter the garden, pick up the flares in the NW corner and continue N to find closed doors. Go right (E), shoot the wooden barriers and go to the very end of the passage, shoot another metal grate and step onto the brown trigger tile to open a door in the W side of this area; to get a small medipack climb one of the blocks and to the top of the wall. Then go around to the W side, shoot the wooden barriers, climb the block, shoot another wooden barrier and take a standing jump with grab so you can go through the triangular opening; advance and at the end of this passage look for a crawlspace and go into the building. Advance E through the shallow waters, pull both switches climb the block and visit the next courtyard to get a small medipack. Go all the way back outside and to the front side of the building to see that one of those doors is now open.

 

Abyss Area

Continue through the crawlspace, drop/slide/grab the edge, drop onto the block below and continue with running jumps all around the room counterclockwise picking up the flares on your way until you find the area with the closed door; here you must step onto the four brown trigger tiles to open the door, so jump first onto the triangular tiles left and right from the door, jump onto the floating tile, slide/grab the edge, pull up and take a backflip with twist to grab the edge of the niche with the closed door.

 

Dark Corridors

Advance through a very dark corridor, pick up the flares and when you find the face tile go left and advance to the very end of this passage until you find one of those brown trigger tiles, pick up the flares and go back to the crossing with the first face tile, continue E to find the open door. Advance and in the junction with the next face tile go right to find another brown trigger tile in a hole, step onto it, go back to the junction and continue W to find a spike trap and a large medipack; jump to grab the monkeyswing and go W losing some health, drop onto the trigger tile and quickly jump back to avoid the spikes, go back to the junction and this time go S and always to your left to find the next open door. Climb up the vines to the very top, go through the crawlspace, drop down from the other side and slide backwards so the rolling boulder goes over your head.

 

First Pharos Knot

In this outside area note the closed door in the SW corner, advance W a bit and locate the brown triangular tile in the opening to your right; it’s an illegal slope but even so you must slide and jump to open that door. In the next room jump onto all the brown tiles (start from the tile in the NE corner; the gray ones are deadly) to raise the first door, push the movable rock once to the N, continue jumping onto the next tiles to raise a second door and push the second rock N to get the first Pharos Knot (called “Load” here); exit the same way avoiding the gray tiles.

 

Second Pharos Knot

Go E to the center of the courtyard and note another brown triangular tile under the rolling boulder, step onto it to open the door in the NE corner and go there. In this room turn right and grab the lower part of the ledge in the SE corner (approach to the corner and with Lara against the wall use “Ctrl” + “Up arrow” keys), pull up and make your way to take a running jump and grab the N block avoiding the spikes, do the same to grab the W one, now take a curved running jump to grab the ladder above the entrance, shimmy right and take a backflip with twist to grab the edge of the block at your back, pull up but immediately drop/grab the edge to avoid the rolling boulder, when it stops pull up and jump onto the S block. Jump to grab the crack in the ceiling and swing to the niche in the N side with the brown tile, now grab the crack again and swing E to the opening with the second Pharos Knot, pick it up, drop/slide/jump over the spikes below and go outside.

 

Corridor with the Receptacles

Now we need to open the E door, so carefully examine the N and S walls and note that the tops in the corners are a bit lower than the rest of the wall so you can climb them in the NW, SW, SE and NE corners the same way you did with the first ledge in the previous room, to find four triangular trigger tiles, step onto them all and the E door should be open. Enter, open the first door with one of the knots, advance and at the end of the corridor jump back and forth to avoid the boulder, pull the switch, go back to the main corridor and locate the next open door; enter, go to the end of the corridor and pull the switch, but now the entrance doors are closed; to get out of here go through the first passage to your left until you hear a door open but don’t continue, retrace your steps and now go through the other passage in the right side to open the second door and exit. Time to use the second knot, enter but don’t slide down the ramp, jump into the niche to your left and jump to grab the ladder, shimmy left, drop and climb to pull the switch; use the ladder to go back to the main corridor. In the next passage walk slowly and next to the walls to avoid being skewered by the falling swords, pull the switch at the end and go back to the main corridor: the E door should be open.

 

First Maze

Slide down the ramp to find yourself in a very huge and nasty maze; your goal here is to find four trigger tiles (broken floor tiles) to open the N door. Go N and always left when possible to find the first trigger tile, now go back the way you came until you find a very long passage leading S (22 tiles long) and advance S 18 tiles to find the second trigger tile to your left; continue S to the final tile and go always right when possible to the very SW corner, then go E almost to the end (9 tiles) and turn left to find the third trigger tile; from here go W almost to the very end, turn right and go always left when possible until you are back in the long corridor of 22 tiles, from here advance only three tiles, go right and see a very long diagonal passage leading NE, run NE to the end until you find a block on your way, turn left, advance several tiles until you reach the N wall, turn left and go always right when possible to find the last trigger tile; from here continue always left when possible until you find the open door in the E side of the maze.

 

Empty Pit

Pick up the large medipack, drop down and slide to the bottom of a small room with more light; use the binoculars with light to discover a small crawlspace high up in the S wall, from the NE corner, advance some steps S to the middle of the distance between the walls and from the very left side (shoulder against the wall) and facing S jump up to grab an invisible ledge above, pull up, walk to the wall and take some lateral steps to your right (this invisible ledge seems to be sloped) so you can jump and grab the edge of the crawlspace above; go through and as usual, crawl onto the four trigger tiles to open the exit door. In the next room drop through the hole to land into another nasty maze.

 

Second Maze

Here you need to find again four trigger tiles to open the exit door in the center of the room, but this time the tiles are hidden behind closed doors, and the trigger tiles to open that doors are not marked. So from the tile you landed go 1N – 1E – 3N – 1E – 1W – 1N – 2W – 3N – 2W – 1S – 1W, from here go back always left when possible to find the 1st trigger tile. Now go 1W – 1S – 3W – 1N – 3W – 2S – 1W to open the exit door; now 2E – 1S – 1E – 2S – 2W – 1S – 2W – 3N – 1W – 1E – 2S – 2W – 1N – 2W – 3N – 2W – 1N – 3S – 2E – 3N – 2E to find the 2nd trigger tile; from here 2W – 4S – 2E – 1S – 2E – 1S – 2E – 1N – 2E – 1S – 2E – 1N – 2E – 1N – 2E – 2N – 1W to get a small medipack; now go 1E – 2S – 2W – 1S – 2W – 1S – 2W – 1S – 1W – 1S to the starting tile. Continue 1S – 1E – 3S – 1E – 1W – 1S – 2W – 3S – 2W – 1N – 1W, from here go in a E direction always right when possible to find the 3rd trigger tile. Now go 1W – 1N – 3W – 1S – 3W – 2N – 1W – 1E – 1N – 2E – 3N – 2E – 1S – 2E – 1S – 2E – 3N to get flares; from here go 1S – 2W – 1N – 2W – 1S – 2W – 1S – 2W – 1N – 2W – 3S – 1W and from here go always to your left when possible until you hear the sound of a door opening, from this trigger tile go 4N – 2E – 4S – 2E to find the 4th trigger tile. To find the exit door, from here go 2W – 4N – 2E – 1N – 2E – 1N – 2E – 1S – 2E – 2N – 1W and 1N.

 

Room with Blue Gems

Drop through the hole and go to the SE corner to open the timed door in the N wall, quickly sprint there (facing the closed door jump back onto the trigger tile and run/sprint) and in the next room advance to the N side the best you can (there are invisible walls, but it’s not very difficult) picking up 4 X Blue Gems on your way, place the gems to open the door and climb up the ladder.

 

Going Up

Pick up the flares in the SW corner, go back to the entrance, climb the block in the NW corner and jump back and forth onto the slope to grab the ladder in the pillar above the entrance hole, shimmy right and around the corner, climb up to the upper ledge, go E and S to the end of it, take a running jump to grab the S ledge, pull up and drop to avoid the rolling ball, roll twice to avoid a second rolling ball and pull the movable block once so you can drop/grab the edge and shimmy right to the other side of the ledge; pull up, take a running jump to grab the block in the corner, turn right and take another running jump to land onto the block in the next corner, jump to the next blocks, climb the W opening and run up the ramp towards the light to finish the level.
