After a marverlous opening flyby, hop down onto the wooden jetty (or possibly an abandoned boat) and open the trap door for a small medipack and the HARPOON GUN for SECRET #1. Curiously enough, you'll find that the harpoon gun won't operate underwater, but it will on dry land. Go up the path toward the village and loop around left (passing a keyhole in the alley to your right) to a short wall. Slide down to a jetty and go around the nearby corner next to another decrepit boat for normal harpoons and poison harpoons. Go back the other way, jump onto the first block and continue with a running jump E to grab the next block. Pull up for a small medipack, jump into the water and swim SW toward the muscular dude standing on the pier. Pull out for a brief conversation as a flyby highlights the sunken raft from which a stream of bubbles is issuing.
When the flyby concludes, the dude has disappeared, so pick up the KEY CARD where he was standing, pause to shoot the nearby fish lurking in the water and grab the normal harpoons at the SW corner of the pier. Continue along the walkway and Lara will look to her left as she approaches a tunnel. Go down the steps to find the SILVER KEY on the marked tile. A cut scene shows the alley you noted earlier. Shoot the approaching scorpion, head in the direction it was coming from and jump into the water. Swim across the channel, pull out and shoot the fish you attracted.
Jump back in, swim W underneath an arch and pull up onto the block to your left. Or, you can swim a bit further past the sloped block on your right, surface with some difficulty because of the current and pull up into the wide opening in the N wall. Take a running jump SW onto the rock slab, turn and jump to grab the smaller opening in the N wall. Pull inside, enter a small room for a small medipack and find the SHOTGUN on the barrel for SECRET #2. Jump across onto the rock slab, shoot another fish that has made an appearance, jump into the water, swim back through the channel and pull out left just before turning the corner. Follow the path up to the tunnel you passed by earlier, turn left into it and continue up to the village.
Go through the village to the N side, find the keyhole you noted earlier and use the Silver Key to open the adjacent gate. Mount the motorbike inside and drive NW down the steps to the pier where the level began. Get off and stand in front of the NW face tile. Jump straight up to grab the overhead ledge, pull inside and follow to a crawl space. Enter, crawl to a ladder and climb to an upper room. Shoot a dog, pick up the small medipack and desert eagle ammo, proceed through the W opening and shoot a bat. Go around the corner, open the double doors and step outdoors.
Enter the SE cave, go through the triangular opening on your right and pick up the magnum ammo near a flowering tree. Hop to a lower ledge and jump toward the red truck to hear a few words from the muscular dude. Hop up beside him for normal harpoons and a large medipack. Go down the wide steps past a marked tile into a cave. To your left is an alcove with a floor hole. Climb down the ladder to find shotgun ammo, climb back out and exit the cave. Go up the wide steps, turn right and approach the small building to trigger a flyby through the immediate area and a nearby mission where a nun is sweeping the walkway. Continue to the building, place the Key Card in the slot to open the door and enter.
Lara looks immediately to her right, so go there for the LASER SIGHT (cut scene of the mission), a large medipack and explosive harpoons. Step up to the plinth for the ANCIENT SCROLL that provides information of little value. Exit, loop around right into a storage area and shoot the scorpion. Take the desert eagle ammo from the work bench and go around to the back of the building. Note for later the floor hole next to the red crate and continue past it to a crate that's blocking your way. Hop over it and turn left into a tunnel that leads to the mission you'll be visiting shortly. Loop around left into a small cave, hop over the railing for magnum ammo and return to that floor hole behind the previous building.
Hop down, go through the crawl space and hop down to an underground room. Shoot the bat (and the fragile wooden structures just for fun if you like) and take the DESERT EAGLE from the work bench. Go to the N crawl space, enter, draw your pistols and wait for a scorpion to appear. Continue to a ledge overlooking a small courtyard and take a running jump N to grab a wall crack. Shimmy right around two corners and drop onto a lower ledge. Hop back, face a bit right and stand jump to grab a jutting block. Pull up, face the wall and jump up to grab the crack.
Shimmy left around the corner and continue to an opening where you can pull inside, roll and take a running jump to grab an opening in the side of the mission. Pull up to a cut scene, drop down the other side and pull up onto the N ledge. Turn around, combine the desert eagle and laser sight, look up and first shoot the protective cover around the bell, then the bell itself to release something heavy that drops down and knocks a hole in the floor. Get over to the E window opening for desert eagle ammo, drop down through the floor hole, pull up into the N opening and follow to a deep pit lined with spikes.
Save your game, take a tricky running jump (at a slight angle, not straight forward) to grab the ladder, shift left around the corner, climb down a bit and take a rolling back flip onto a slope. Slide and grab, shimmy right around the corner and pull up into an alcove with flares. Save again, turn around and run off the edge to grab the ladder below the obstruction. Climb down until you can shift left around the corner and drop onto a safe spot. The shallow water is not deadly, so hop down left and enter the S crawl space.
Emerge in a circular alley with one of those TR1 slicer dicers. Stand with your back against the wall, and when it goes by jump into the water, swim to a floor hole and turn right to find an underwater lever that opens a nearby lower door. Flip turn, keep swimming down and past the opened door, follow the winding passage until you can surface and pull out into a small room. The E plinth has the MOSAIC TILE that you'll need back in the room with the spikes.
Swim back the way you came, wait for the slicer dicer to roll by and quickly swim E. Pull out next to a small medipack and a block that you can use to take a running jump W to grab the higher opening. Pull up and climb the ladder toward the top of the circular alley. Continue to the very top, stand near the N wall and slide down backwards so you can grab and drop onto a safe ledge. Turn around and stand jump W next to the crawl space. Return to the room with the spikes, go around left and find an alcove with a button you can push to lower some of the spikes. Use the column ladder to get back up to where you can navigate the spike-free tiles to reach the S ledge.
Place the Mosaic Tile to lower most of the remaining spikes. For a secret, climb the central ladder until you can hop up into the NW alcove where you see the monkey bars, drop from the ceiling to grab the ladder, shift right and drop into an alcove with a large medipack, the MAGNUMS and magum ammo for SECRET #3. Drop into the shallow water, climb back up to the W opening and exit to a passage where swinging blades have been activated. Work your way left past the first one for a small medipack, get past the other two into the next room and take the TRIDENT from the plinth.
Go back past the swinging blades to the spike room, turn right and stand jump to grab the raised platform. Pull up, enter the crawl space and crawl around to a vine-covered opening where you can drop down to the courtyard you saw earlier from above. For another secret, go down the alley to the left of the temple steps and hop into the shallow floor hole for the GRENADE GUN and SECRET #4. Return, enter the temple and place the Trident on the Poseidon statue. Watch the ensuing flyby as a nearby door opens. Go there and enter a new underground area.
Lara looks left upon entry as three dogs bound up the steps toward her. Go down the steps and find normal harpoons in the shallow pool. Go back up the steps to see a jump switch that opens the W door. Enter for a remote camera view of the room ahead. Take a few more steps, turn around and shoot two dogs that followed you into the room. Continue to the back wall and pull up onto the ledge to find two timed wall switches, one on either side. The switch on the S wall turns off the flames on the middle ledge, the switch on the N wall turns off the flames on the highest ledge near the E side of the room. For a couple of extra pickups, pull down the S switch first, take a rolling back flip and sprint to the N switch, pull it down and take a running jump onto the flame-free first ledge, continue with a running jump to grab the middle ledge, pull up, take a step forward and stand jump with grab to land on the ledge below the timer mechanisms.
Pick up the explosive harpoons and small medipack, return to the timed switches and repeat the moves described above. But this time, work your way toward the right (S) side of the room as you navigate the ledges, so that you can take a running jump to grab the ledge with the timer mechanism, shimmy right as necessary and pull up into a crawl space at the SE corner. Crawl to a ledge overlooking a room with a flaming bowl down below.
Safety drop from the ledge, go to the S arch and pull up for normal arrows. Drop back down, go through the E opening and jump into the central floor hole with water far down below. Surface and pull out at the SE opening. Enter what appears to be a water-filled hub room, go to the W alcove and pull down the wall switch to open an underwater door. Jump into the water, locate the opened door in the central column and pull the underwater lever to raise the water level still higher. Surface if you need air and swim into the N opening. Stay high so the current won't grab you, turn left and pull a second underwater lever in the W wall to open a door down below.
Swim down and follow the passage, keeping generally to your left until you locate a ceiling hole so you can swim up to surface and pull out onto a ledge. Turn around and take a rather precise running jump over the water, hitting the action key at the last possible instant to activate the W jump switch that opens to NE door. Go on through and turn left into a side passage. Hop down to a lower room as the previous door closes behind you. Go past the golden spider webs into the W room and take the only possible path past the flaming bowl and into a passage where wall sconces ignite as you progress.
Continue to an apparent dead end and pull down the ceiling trap door to gain access to a temple room. Face W and pull the skeleton away from the PROOF! (cut scene of the nun, followed by an explosion that rips through the temple and causes debris to fall from the ceiling). Jump into the NE water hole and swim back to a backlit door that you can open with the action key. Swim into a sunken room, wade out onto the sloped block next to the S opening and take a running jump onto the W ledge. Pull up onto the adjacent block, take a running jump to grab the ledge at the NW corner and pull up in front of an opening.
Loop around right in the passage, take a running jump S to grab the ladder and climb to an upper area (cut scene of the outdoor section you explored earlier). Go past the rock slab, face the wall to your right and jump up to grab the crack. Shimmy left, pull into the crawl space and proceed to a familiar ledge. Face slightly SE, stand jump to grab the higher ledge and pull up. Turn left to face the wall, jump up to grab the crack and shimmy left around the corner to a familiar opening. Pull up, but this time face SE, save your game and take a running jump curving right to land on the upper ledge. Run past the S opening toward the smaller building and approach the muscular dude for a concluding conversation and a flyby through the village area.
