You start with Lara
sliding to the yard of an Antarctic research Base. Take the left side where you
see the water tower, there's an opening to a short passage with a closed door
(it opens with Crowbar). Back to the yard and follow the path toward the faraway
structure, look over the right side, you'll see an closed gate. Keep going
along the structure and at the end on the wall press the switch, it will raise
up the sliding gate. Go over there, enter inside and look in a corner behind
the pipe, you'll find the Crowbar. Get back to the short passage near
the water tower, use there with Crowbar to open the door, enter the generator
room, nothing much to do there, then pull Lara into the high crawlspace and
pass to next room.
You are in an office
with a few desks, go toward the stairs, climb up halfway, there's an closed
door from left side, leave it a while and keep up the stairs. In front of you
on the desk take the Scientists Letter. Keep going to the passage untill
you come to end, there's another desk and you'll find the Mine Access Key.
Turn back to the stairs, get down halfway and turn right, kick in a door to get
outside the structure and take care of two giant beetles.
Follow the path, you
will come to an area with a few structures, in the right, in the front and one
in high place from the left side, in each of them there's a closed door you
open later. Shoot the giant beetles attack that show up from the dead soldier,
go near to the dead soldier, notice for key hole covered with glass. Turn to
left side, follow the path between the structure, light flare as it's quite
dark, you come to small place, kick in a door, enter the office again with a
few desks. You can take Small Medipack from the left desk, now go around the
double column and pull the lever wall, screenshot will show the door near the
red flag opening.
Return to the area you
came from, enter the open structure near the red flag and pull the jumpswitch
to open the door in a high place in front of you when you get out of the
structure. Go straight over there, you can climb up the climbable column and
get in the room, press the switch to raise up the glass that covers the key
hole. Get down from this high place, go to the key hole and use the Mine Access
Key.
Enter inside the passageway, a few steps you will come to intersection
of three ways, at the end of the front way a closed door. Take the right
passage, go to end and pull there two lever wall in each alcove, now go the
long way toward the end of the left side passage, you'll see another closed
door (it's the door to the Mine), pull the lever wall nearby. The closed door
you saw before at the first passage is open now, make your way over there and
enter the generator room. As you can see there's three levers wall, you only
need to pull the one at the left side, the doors to the Mine are open now, once
again do your way through the long passage and get out to the Mine.
Pass the two dead soldiers, turn to the right, then slide down into the
pit under the column with the projector, turn to face the next slope and slide
down, look at what the flyby shows. Follow the bridge snowy stone and take care
for two giant beetles, be careful as they can drop you to the deep pit from
both sides. Take short jump further the small area cliff, turn to face the next
faraway snowy stone, now step back and running jump across the gap and land
onto the snowy stone.
Jump over the slope, you feel earthquake around you, keep going toward
the place with the statues and two ghosts will show up, in front of you an
entrance hall with closed designed door in middle of two bonfires. Go the left
side, you can climb onto the entrance roof, crawl into short passage and pull
the lever wall there. The doors are open now, back over there, pass through the open
door, step into the dark room and finish the level.
