The Blood Mountain is a unique geological formation and a historic site. The river flowing through this volcano is coloured red due to ferrous rocks. In ancient times a culture named the 'Moya' build a temple into this extinct volcano. The Moya associated the red water with blood, thus the temple was often the place of human sacrifice. As legend has it a blue diamond in the shape of a lizard was kept and worshiped by the Moya. But so far no expedition to the Blood Mountain ever returned. It seems as if even the surrounding jungle keeps a deadly secret... |
