Upon a casual expedition to Karnak, Egypt, Lara and her archeologist crew have found a spike in the magnetic field in an underexposed temple. Perhaps it's the famed Karnak Sapphire? It's rumored that the Sapphire gives off a magnetic field that can be easily spotted with equipment such as ours,” pondered Lara. “Well there's no way in finding out if it is or not. That temple is a death trap: archeologists have entered, and none have found their way out,” explained her colleague. “I guess that I’ll have to find out for myself,” decided Lara as she puts on her backpack and arms herself with her trusty pistols.
