Rumors have surfaced that the enigmatic tome, filled with mysterious symbols and indecipherable text, is hidden within a shadowy circle of occultists who are obsessed with unlocking its secrets. These secretive scholars are said to be experimenting with the manuscript's cryptic knowledge, believing it holds the key to forbidden wisdom, unparalleled power and the ability to control life and death. The line between myth and reality blurs as Lara realizes the stakes are far higher than she anticipated. Her clues lead her to a library in the heart of the city, a labyrinth of dusty volumes, arcane symbols, and concealed passages where the manuscript's secrets—and those who would do anything to keep them—await in the shadows. Important: There are dark areas in this level. You will need to use flares. There are environmental clues in parts of the level, so keep your eyes peeled. There are nonlinear parts. Don't forget about paths you didn't take. Known issues: Don't save on top of stacked pushables. Reloading will send you flying into the void.
