Information:

- Secrets are readable when you select them in the inventory (Lara must stand still).
- When you release a parallel bar, hold the Up Botton. Otherwise the jump will be interrupted.
- It's not neccessary to turn a book switch twice. If you do, Lara plays the wrong animation, which I couldn't fix, but the effect stays the same.
- Hold the Sprint-Button while riding the boat to increase speed.
- Almost every human enemy drops items, so look around after you beat them.
- Torch can be drawn whenever you want and can't get lost anymore. But you have to ignite it again if you throw it away. (Special Thanks to Mahetus, for the information).
- Library Key is usable multiple times.

Story:

May 1997
Mr Pietro Fontana, a highly respected man in Italy, owner of a noble library in Venice, and former private tutor to Sir Henshingley Croft, has passed away. News of his death has spread around the world and, naturally, has reached England, the home of Lara Croft, daughter of Sir Henshingley Croft. An exceedingly curious lady who, through her archaeological work and daring adventures, has attained great fame and considerable wealth, albeit against her parents' wishes. When Lara hears of the late library owner's passing, she is deeply saddened, for she had a very close friendship with this man. Even as a child, he told her, in intimate conversation, of so many things - such as unsolved mysteries or lost artefacts in this world - which shaped and inspired Lara from an early age, sparking her interest in one day solving them all. Another possible reason why Lara became an archaeologist. This man was a trusted confidant to her, almost like a grandfather, and that is how her loss feels. However, the news reports do not speak of a natural death, but of a potential murder case likely committed by the Mafia, who may have been blackmailing him for money. But Lara has a completely different motive in mind, for the Mafia may well be searching for his 'personal treasure', which he once told Lara about and which might be worth a fortune. It would come as no surprise to her if the Mafia had got wind of this treasure and, driven by greed, were trying to get their hands on it. To safeguard his treasure and bring the Mafia to justice, Lara travels to Venice to store his treasure in a safe and fitting place, thereby paying her dear friend his last respects. Upon arrival, there is a thunderstorm, and it is pouring with rain, and almost no one is to be seen in the city. It almost seems as though it is not just Lara who is mourning this important man, but the whole city, whose inhabitants have barricaded themselves in their homes, and Lara begins to feel melancholic. Nevertheless, she is determined to fulfil her mission at any cost.

Inspiration for building this level in a nutshell:
In a TR2-Randomizer Playthrough, Venice was the last level, and the sky was dark grey. So I thought about how Venice would look like with dark grey rainy weather and boom, here it is.
