Reviewer's comments |
"A minigame with everything but a crash, 20 min for 100%, very good for starters (both for a builder and a player)." - DJ Full (19-Apr-2024) |
 |
"This is a rather short but sweet level, quite uneventful in comparison to most levels out there and it's as linear as it gets, you're always pressing forward. Still, I've had a good time here, and a massive smile took my face when I realized the artifact was the Triangle of Light, the spinning on the pedestal was a nice touch. Some of the new animations felt weird (especially the backflip) but that's just a random observation. The bite-sized length also means you can't really go wrong with this one. 10 minutes, 1 secret. 01/23" - Treeble (22-Jan-2023) |
 |
"There was a fun factor in this game, it
just didn't last long enough. Shoot a few
spiders, move two blocks, do a few jumps
and you have found the Triangle. Fun, but
not long enough." - Ryan (13-Mar-2016) |

"A short level here from Crash82. Progress consists of working through a series of rooms to obtain a stone triangle. Lighting and texturing are good for the most-part. Puzzles are straightforward mostly involving push-blocks. All in all I netted just under 15 minutes from the search for the triangle. Given that Crash82 clearly demonstrates good technical skills with the editor I think it's perhaps time for the author to embark on a project with a little more challenge and scale for the player. Stiggy" - TheStig (20-May-2012) |

"Nice little adventure where the gameplay is quite linear. The enemy here are spiders and apart from finding a couple of stars and a gem for a secret your goal of course is finding that Triangle. You will, at the end. Finding the crowbar however is another story LOL" - Gerty (13-May-2012) |
 |
"Quite correct this small level with no big defects at a glance. Small rooms with simple architecture, well known puzzles with an easy, lineal and fast gameplay, no cameras needed and no bugs... Very easy to play, even the secret was too easy. In the line of previous levels from this author, but a bit better; it notices an advance in the building so, I think it's the time to think about more long and ambicious levels next time. Continue so." - Jose (08-Aug-2011) |

"A short levelplayable in about 10-15 minutes where Lara is
in search of a Triangle. The game presents no kind of
difficulty, the gameplay is always linear and smooth, just
in a couple of rooms we get something a bit better: in one
of them you have to jump on only certain tiles (you see that
by noticing the raised ones) and in the other room Lara
breathe the gas when it comes down and then she has to hurry
up going up to the other side (nothing of difficult anyway).
Towards the end, after collecting the Triangle, when Lara
comes out there is a jeep and their keys on the ground; so
pleased by that, I thought the gameplay would have been got
interesting, but after less than ten meters, the level ends
(what a disappointment). A few puzzles and very simple, such
as to shoot with the revolver and lasersight to a head with
a diamond, a cube to move into a nearby box and marked with
symbols, and using a torch in the room next to the original
one; the only interesting thing is to find the crowbar that
is hidden somewhere, but being still a few rooms to be
explored, you'll find it in a while! I found a secret, even
if I'd not consider it so secret since it is enough to jump
from a platform to an other one, or it may be due to the
fact that before these 2 platforms Lara had to use one of
those special moves that are only in some levels. As enemies
we can find some weak and small spiders and a big spider, as
weapons we have the 2 pistols and the revolver. Mainly there
are no soundtracks, just occasionally something of TR Last
Revelation and the AOD in the main title screen. Discrete
textures-lights. In conclusion there is just some nice idea,
but still not much substance to get a sufficient result." - Steven Svorticher (07-Jul-2011) |

"This was a pretty short but fun level for me to play. The builder has definately improved from his previous level. The gameplay was mainly finding objects in order to go to a different area. In the end you find the triangle. Enemies were small spiders and one big one. The crowbar was pretty well hidden but it isn't that hard to find. The textures were the auther's key improvement. It was so much betterin this level. Recommended for a little raid." - afzalmiah (02-Jul-2011) |

"Not a bad little level overall, just a tad short on ambition.Everything about it (gameplay,objects,atmosphere...you know the criteria by now) begs for that little bit more.Nonetheless, the textures are well applied and the overall environment (save for the pointless Landrover Finale) is quite solid and pleasing, without ever pushing any particular boundaries.
Sneaky Crowbar aside, this provides for 15 minutes of aggravation-free enjoyment." - Orbit Dream (01-Jul-2011) |
 |
"A well made if fairly straight forward level. Perhaps not quite a beginners level, more of a class 2. The hardest thing was finding the crowbar, as some of my fellow reviews have mentioned, the rest is about 15 minutes of switch finding and object placement. Good lighting throughout and the use of textures gave a nice solid feel to the rooms. The baddies are few and easily terminated. I must say that the poison room took me by surprise but once noticed is easily dealt with. Overall a pleasant, short level that could be developed." - Diz (30-Jun-2011) |
 |
"I actually enjoyed this uncomplicated level. It is
refreshing to enjoy a mini adventure without constantly
having to make awkward jumps, avoid traps or be met with
enemies with every time Lara turns a corner. So for me this
level deserves merit. I actually started over thinking I had
missed the crowbar but then found it after a more careful
search. I loved the fluidity and grace with which Lara moved
and also the ending when Lara picks up the keys to the jeep
and rides off into the sunset. One of the few levels I have
been able to complete without frustration. Truly enjoyable
with nice sounds - I'd like more levels like this!" - High Priestess (27-Jun-2011) |
 |
"Only a few minutes of gameplay, straight forward but to easy. A torch next to the place where it can be lit, the related wall-torch just in the next room. The revolver with the sight next to the lions head, the crowbar next to the 2 stars one room away from their receptacles. Running from room to room - that's all. Sound is inadequate to the situation, atmosphere is the best part of the game. The author has talent; why don't he put some more work into something, that could be called an adventure?" - Christian (23-Jun-2011) |
 |
"An attractive, but rather short (15 mins) and easy (save for the sneakily hidden crowbar) level. The architecture is quite simplistic and generally a bit too square, monotonous and sequential, but the progression is fast, with a few smaller variations of tasks and really very pleasant to go through to reach the infamous triangle on a pedestal. Found 1 gem secret and killed a few small spiders and their angry mom." - MichaelP (22-Jun-2011) |
 |
"The level builder has made here, actually, nothing wrong. An
easy Gameplay, easy tasks, a few easy opponents (some small
ones and a big spider), a good lighting and, up to a few
exceptions here and there, cleanly processed textures. In
addition a little music if something important approaches and
already one has quite a well-arranged level. Well, not every
door does have a sound and the level is a little bit short
with about 15-minute playing time, but on the whole it was a
good change and the ideal candidate for the small level
hunger in between." - Scottie (21-Jun-2011) |
 |
"Within the space of a few seconds, I'd picked up one of my least favourite things - the torch - and one of my definite loves - the revolver and laser sight. This is a fast paced, straightforward 15 minute level as Lara sprints through a series of well made rooms (including one with toxic air), performing a few simple tasks and shooting some spiders, large and small. Short, pleasant and entirely blameless." - Jay (20-Jun-2011) |
 |
"What is here in this very short quest is fine, but this is rather bare bones for a level. Rooms look good, if a little boxy. Lara finds a crowbar in a bush--about the only place it can be hidden. She uses a PH move: hanging from a pillar, she does a twist/jump back to another pillar. This is the extent of her using such moves. There is a damaging poison room, but Lara can quickly jump out of it and continue. Lara reaches the Triangle, takes it to a jeep, and drives for a few seconds to the end. No doubt Lara will next be searching for the Square, then for the Circle, in developed levels, as the author clearly has much more potential." - dmdibl (20-Jun-2011) |
 |
"A very easy, but nice builded level. The lightning and texturing are well done. The gameplay was pretty bad ! The whole concept is just too easy and linear! It's impossible to get lost. For playing this there is no brain use necessary , cause everything you need to do is just in front of you. Gates are being opened by crawling into a hole that's just next to them. The only part actually where I stacked was the plant with a crowbar in it. Too bad that it's so linear :S
Object placing and enemies are good. Nothing spectacular in this game, but I'm sure that the next project is going to be much better !" - MpGrill (19-Jun-2011) |

"This is a basic and short level with very easy game play. The only thing you have to do here is to move from room to room and open a few doors, either by placing stars, pushing block or lighting torches. The all-important crowbar is a bit unfairly hidden but other that that I would say this is the perfect beginners level. The only enemies are a couple of small and big spiders, which are easily taken care off. Lara is nicely animated; especially the back flip looks really cool. The room design is a bit boxy and the texturing is simple, yet clean and solid looking and the level is nicely lit throughout. Definitely worth the download. (15 minutes, 1 secret found)" - Blue43 (18-Jun-2011) |

"I found this level was quite engaging and mostly well-looking,
well here and there there still was a texture mistake and not
good lighting, but in general I found this to be the best of
the latest 10-minute levels released in the last few months,
and the best of Mark's levels up to date. Gameplay, even if
too linear, was varied and you have to use new moves (only
once, though) to get up a structure, the enemies were placed
really well, there were few little puzzles in it and
atmosphere was relatively decent. I of course liked the jeep
ride, but it was way too short and the end of world-factor at
the end wasn't very good. All in all a recommended level if
you need a really short but "on the point" one." - manarch2 (17-Jun-2011) |

"This is a very linear and easy to finish level, that can be completed in 10-15 minutes at one go... Lara explores the ruins, going through rooms with no chances to get lost or to explore. The whole gameplay goes from opening one door to opening the next one, and you will always know what to do next. The architecture is simple and blocky, with nice decorations, but nothing spectacular. Enemies are small and big spiders (the big spider scared the hell out of me, so that was a very exciting moment), which have pretty awkward sounds (sounded like dart traps to me, not like spiders). Cameras showing what you just did do not exist, but they are also not needed, since you progress from one room to another. Lighting is poor, too bright and not realistic, and textures have too many cracks to be ignored. However, the game was a nice way to spend 15 minutes on a rainy day, as a training for much harder and complex levels... When Lara has such possibilities as here (very complex moves, to be precise) it is pity that she had no opportunity to use them better. A nice level, recommendable mostly to beginners, and very easy to finish... The last area, where Lara finds her jeep and drives away, was a very nice touch, which was supposed to prevent the abrupt ending of the level... Nice idea!" - Nina Croft (16-Jun-2011) |
