Reviewer's comments |
"The shortest and easiest one (so far?) in the series. The author ramped up the visuals adding more variety but still keeping the focus solely on gameplay, which this time around leans more towards timed runs. Only one of which I felt was too close, but still I found myself often getting stuck inside the door barriers for not making it entirely through in time. 10 minutes, 01/25" - Treeble (26-Jan-2025) |
 |
"This is really just more of the same from
this builder, only this time with a series
of rather dodgy timed runs through buggy
doors. An ever so slight improvement in
the looks department, but still nothing
too impressive and it's not really worth
the download or playing time." - Ryan (24-May-2019) |

"Just some timed runs and enemys, no story, no rhyme or
reason but I guess if you want to pratise doing timed runs
this is one for you," - JoeTheCrazyGamer (24-Oct-2016) |

"I didn't play the previous levels from this author, just because of the uggly screenshots. This one seemed quite acceptable for me, sor I decided to have a look. Well, this level could be resumed as one time run after the other. It seems like the author just learned how to make time runs and made a level based only on this feature. All are not very difficult but what a boring experience, as they don't even create a real gameplay, but a series of tasks thrown in rooms with no sense. Even the enemies/traps don't create the illusion of a structured gameplay. Only some textures and atmosphere make this level playable. In conclusion after all those timed runs, I said to myself that I lost my time ;)" - LarangL (20-Jun-2016) |

"From a technical point of view, this is ever so slightly
more accomplished than the previous levels by this builder
(there are attempts at a visual theme, and even some
coloured lighting).From a gameplay perspective,it's
actually rather fun.The timed runs are tight (some require
a few attempts) and often get the adrenaline racing;while
enemies spice things up to a degree (although all are
avoidable if you just want to get through with the minimum
of annoyance). There is the barest hint of a puzzle, and a
couple of fixed cameras lend a degree of perspective. In
contrast to the two previous levels,a knowledge of buggy
moves is not a requisite for progression;so this could
actually be recommended to those who fancy around ten
minutes of no-frills jumping and sprinting." - Orbit Dream (10-May-2016) |

"Gameplay & Puzzles: There are a few timed runs and an easy puzzle, not really much but not too bad. Enemies, Objects & Secrets: The builder continues his style with a few random enemies, very few objects and no secrets. Atmosphere, Sound & Cameras: No sign of a good atmosphere as well, sounds and camera work is very little. Lighting & Textures: The first level of the builder with not totally random textures and lighting, but there are still very many mistakes and the looks are not nice at all. Total: 1,5/10, only a bit better looking than before." - Rambo (06-Mar-2016) |

"Much better and not that hardcore like the previous part. This time it's textured (!), even with attempts on differing monkey swing and water tiles. There are no puzzles but we can do some timed challenges, though unnecessarily hardened by tremendous number of collision mistakes on the doors. Enemies are also better than before but half of them attack Lara while she's defenseless and those cannot be defeated later. SUMMARY: The author is definitely skilled in challenge design and I hope he'll set it in better scenery someday." - DJ Full (20-Jan-2016) |
 |
"This one is even nastier as you can use certain glitches of the editor in the game to proceed. Forget it. There are timed runs; enemies are popping up out of thin air, textures it looks like they are applied at random. Nah..." - Gerty (09-Jan-2016) |
 |
"Well, I thought this one was not too bad. The Egyptian texturing gives it at least a hint of some flair and the timed runs and ninja battles are not too hardcore this time, so for the brief 10 minutes it lasts, this actually provided a bit of fun. Still, only for the completists out there." - MichaelP (14-Dec-2015) |
 |
"This third installment is nothing but a rather uninspired series of timed runs, most of which are not too tricky to absolve. There's little variation in the setup and a quite annoying point of health loss too, with quite many enemies and at first little ammo and health reserves. The looks are often very bland but at least not gameplay-affecting, the setting has received a tiny little bit more attention than before. But unless you want to train timed runs a bit this is little more than a boring 8 minute rush." - manarch2 (13-Dec-2015) |

"Seeing this pop up in the latest new levels a mere four days after the builder's second edition in a so-called series of 'Hardcore Projects', I can't say I'm surprised that Guillaume is only really uploading these for attention-seeking purposes at this point.
Oh sure, the structures of the rooms are a tad more consistent here for a change, with the lighting effects at least attempted to be more atmospheric than before, albeit still implemented fairly badly.
But yet again, the main problem is that its just not very fun to play on the whole(with incredibly empty, blocky environments and unimaginative gameplay design leading the charge like always.)
So in conclusion, yet another release that can be easily skipped without any regrets.
Now, would you please take much longer to develop your levels from here on out, Guillaume? As no-one wants to see another short half-assed release from you again, not too long after this one.
Because otherwise, you're not giving yourself enough time to let your skills develop properly and as a result, be critiqued with likewise negative reviews and the potential outlook of most players ignoring whatever you put out altogether, for the foreseeable future. And I'm sure you don't want that right? So best to take that into consideration for next time, OK?" - Ceamonks890 (27-Oct-2015) |
