Reviewer's comments
"I was rather pleasantly surprised by this level, what with Neltharion being known for creating levels on the more difficult end of the raiding spectrum. It actually ends up being quite linear, with very little backtracking required and the more difficult sequences being reserved for the secrets (couldn't get the first one due to a seemingly impossible jump, forgivable though as it's optional). Some handy shortcuts eventually open up too. The aesthetics are quite pleasing, with some rather unique texturing and objects used. The atmosphere is on point and serves the setting well, with some spooky audio files. The dark graveyard area is particularly effective, if a little too dark lighting-wise. Plenty of flares are provided though. Enemies aren't too overwhelming or difficult to conquer and it ends quite nicely with a boss battle against a familiar enemy. I liked it." - Ryan (03-Nov-2025)
"A solid, realistic town, very unusual for a TR2 engine. It has some twists and special decorations we don't see anywhere else, and it also plays nicely. I'd fill the rare empty rooms because the busy ones stand in striking opposition, so if not adding objects, then some lighting revamp could bring some life in and fill this gap. The water puzzle I'd reorder so there's not much penalty if you don't notice the secret on time. The new enemies are cool but need a fix as they get stuck in a looped animation and never damage Lara - the latter might be intended though. Very recommended." - DJ Full (02-Nov-2025)
"The first level from the author I have finished, and for good reasons: they're known for their complexity and difficulty, though this adventure into Mexico. It's short and sweet aside from a pushable puzzle that disrupts the flow, and it's an adventure that's worth your time clocking at about 30 or so minutes. The main draw of it is the unique theme and variety of custom objects made to fit the theme of the mexican holiday. The darkness is used to a good degree and your flare count is extremely high to never leave you in the dark. Traps are unique and textures are used from various games in a really fresh and unique game. I had noticed that the guardian enemies seemed to be bugged, with some standing and replaying an animation over and over, and the statics could at times be too bright from their environment. I have enjoyed my time in this level regardless of any issues, though the pushable bit was the worst part by far. Overall, I suggest you play this adventure!" - OblivionJaw (01-Nov-2025)
