"An utterly charming festive level that captures the spirit of the Christmas/New Year season
perfectly. The bulk of the gameplay consists of locating 25 star fragments so Winston (who
has gotten himself frozen this time) can be thawed and all can be well. There's no real
puzzles to tax the brain or timed sequences to challenge Lara's dexterity, but the
exploration factor is really well executed. While a number of the stars are hidden in plain
sight, some do require you to scour the city from different directions. The routes are all
pretty logical in general, although the swingpole exercises might need just a bit of
practice. Visually, this is impossible to fault. The construction is beautiful, the
atmosphere fittingly placid and the object usage is charming. Loved the whole bar sequence,
too, among others. Brilliant from start to finish." - Ryan (08-Jan-2026) |

"If the author's previous level was a welcome gift for the advent calendar, this one fully embraces the holiday vibes. Armed with only a wine glass, Lara will search for 25 fragments of a shooting star in this collectathon-style level. I'm not sure if all 25 are required to finish the game, but even if not, the level is short and simple enough that I would encourage players to go for the full count. A nice way to ring in 2026.
Pros
- The hunt for 25 star fragments encourages observation and exploration
- Festive visuals
- Optional music allows players to control their audio experience
Cons
Time: 39 minutes | Difficulty: Easy | Rating: 8.25/10 - Very Good" - JesseG (06-Jan-2026) |

"Lovely short New Year's level. I had a lot of fun with this one, from the premise to all the little things you can do around the place.I got to listen to my favourite song "Falling Off Ledges" and dance around. It's so creative and wholesome, I absolutely enjoy playing these types of levels! The decor is delightful and festive, it was nice having a varied range of environments in such a small space. I found the new swingpole mechanics quite interesting and easy to use. Overall a phenomenal experience, Happy New Year 2026!" - Minaru (03-Jan-2026) |

"A simple, relaxing custom that relies solely on collecting stars. No puzzles, switches,
collectibles, etc., just arcade elements and exploration. Technically flawless. Fun, with a
great atmosphere. Well done." - Sylwia (03-Jan-2026) |

"Brilliant! An extremely good collectathon game with some strategy required to reach the
stars. Those springboards, though, were harder than usual. After some struggle, I think I
found how they work: You must keep pressing the forward key while on the springboard, and a
running jump on it takes you further than a standing one. This is not documented, so I may
be wrong. Anyway, great fun! Oh, and stunning of course." - billie2001 (02-Jan-2026) |

"This level is truly the perfect finale to 2025 and this year's Advent calendar.
Shabab has created a level with a beautiful setting that invites exploration and wonder. At first glance, the map is quite overwhelming, as everything is open for exploration from the start, but you quickly get the hang of it, and finding the 25 star fragments isn't as difficult as you might initially think. In fact, the level can be completed in just under an hour.
The visuals in this level are simply superb! There's also plenty to discover in terms of gameplay. The jukebox and the interaction with the bar are cool new ideas. Lara even shows off her dance moves!
All in all, a really beautiful and relaxing level. A perfect end to the year!" - Mr XY (02-Jan-2026) |

"Excellent level, it took me 1h:10m to get all the stars, a great way to end 2025 with a
beautiful level!" - young Lara Croft (01-Jan-2026) |

"one of the most beautiful levels i played so far. 10/10 masterpiece" - Raider278 (01-Jan-2026) |

"It nods to the whole story as if all previous Shabab's levels condensed and cuddled in this cute one. As you may expect it's a collectathon, and probably the briefest work by this builder overall. A nice wrap of the year and may it be gone already... the year, not the level. Happy 2020 to everyone." - DJ Full (01-Jan-2026) |

"Lara, holding a glass of red wine and wearing high heels, wandered along the coast to enjoy
the stunning night view. She watched people celebrating Christmas cheerfully or leisurely on
balconies, in rooms, and on the streets. She could also order drink or show off her graceful
dance moves in the ballroom and collect stars through a series of difficult moves—
trampolines were always so thrilling. Near the tall billboards, excited passer-by waved
hisarms and cheered, which added even more to the festive atmosphere.
The bug I encountered is that when Lara is on the horizontal bar at a height, she can walk
directly into the shed next to the bar and jump straight onto the high platform behind the
huge billboard. In addition, when Lara jumps to grab the overhead horizontal bar, her feet
will pass through the roof, which is somewhat unreasonable." - cheng (01-Jan-2026) |

"So cool to have a New Year's level in time for celebration! My kids fell asleep near the
end since it was 4 a.m., but I have a save file to show them that Winston is alright. I’m
fine with the idea of a short collectathon without any linear structure - a fun diversion
from our usual ‘serious’ tomb raiding. Some minor gripes: I don’t like jump pads - I think
they are extremely awkward to use and any mistake causes death which isn’t fun at all. As
usual, by the time I get used to them, they are over. And I don’t think I was so
frustrated with jump pads in Barbie DX. I think it is also the first time I’ve experienced
diagonal ledge hanging. The transition from a regular ledge to diagonal one failed me
once. The very idea of usable diagonals seems logical, but doesn’t sit right with me at
the moment. As for graphics, I still have mixed feelings about TEN - I like the framerate,
I like that you can turn off the AO, I think it is hideous. I really don’t like the water
surface shader. Other than that, it’s all good. I like swing poles with extended
functionality - I know them very well from previous shabaobab’s work. The location, lots
of characters, the architecture and the disco are lovely. The idea of snow somehow just
chilling here and there in this seemingly warm place with lots of greenery feels dreamy.
Thank you, shabaobab!" - MaxDeaconVR (01-Jan-2026) |

"A wonderful collectathon type of a level. Our sole objective is to gather 25 stars scattered
across a small town and a beach. You can do that in any order you want because the game is
totally non-linear. Lots of parkour and lots of new moves that make it more fun. Besides
exploration and jumping there is not much else. What I loved is that you could set different
soundtracks in your inventory and in the club. And what I loved even more is that you can
order various drinks and make Lara drunk xD. Visually, it's stunning and flawless. Nothing
more to add. All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing level. Definitely recommended." - BlackWolfTR (01-Jan-2026) |
