"Seeing TR3 III made me click instantly – it is definitely my favorite among the classics! This time we get levels set in Antarctica, cleverly styled to mimic the PSX look. Since I never played this part on a console back in the day, it felt like a really cool and fresh experience. The retro pixel filter added to the charm here and didn't bother me at all, even though I strongly prefer crisp visuals. There is plenty of exploration, smart puzzles, and lots of platforming combined with shooting. Ammo is limited, which ramps up the tension and makes things tougher as you progress, so resource management is key, though supplies are reasonably balanced if you look around. Visually the levels look stunning, wrapped in that freezing, atmospheric cold, though that sharp blue can sometimes sting the eyes a bit. Overall, a very solid adventure. Sabatu never disappoints!" - Sylwia

"I had a blast playing this one. I liked the implementation of save crystals and limited ammo, both of which are plentiful, so you won’t have to worry about running out of them. The first level takes place in beautiful snowy landscapes, and features a few interesting puzzles, platforming over icy waters, and a nice use of the rubber boat. However, the second level really blew me away. I loved the icy caves where you can see parts of the shipwreck protruding through the ice. Once you get inside the shipwreck, the game becomes more claustrophobic and eerie with engaging combat. Unfortunately, I encountered a bug where a door failed to open after using a switch that is in the storage area where the big fight takes place. Thus, I wasn’t able to finish the level and had to watch the end from a Youtube walkthrough. All in all, this is a deeply atmospheric and entertaining adventure, and I strongly recommend it." - Samu

"The author has crafted a convincingly wintry world, with snowflakes swirling all around. Frigid water raises the stakes of exploration. There are a few too many block-pushing puzzles, but the soundtrack is excellent. Enemies that pop up from time to time amp up the atmosphere. Crystal game mode also add the tense atmosphere. The ending hints that a sequel may be on the way, leaving me eagerly looking forward to it." - cheng
