"Two somewhat small levels but both have a trait in common, the big areas. While they make
things seem rather empty, the fact this is done in the TR1 engine took me straight back to the
sense of awe and simplicity back from the day. In that sense, the author has accomplished
their initial goal. Nothing particularly taxing here with the exception of one jump over lava,
so just good old fashioned fun. 30 minutes, 4 secrets. 10/26" - Treeble
"A very solid debut level that takes inspiration heavily from TR1 Peru section. Gameplay is
linear, involving switches to find, basic jumps to perform, various animals to fight, and a
simple pushblock puzzle. While these tasks are fairly conventional and lack major surprises,
none of the tasks were boring or annoying either. The level manages to avoid common flaws
such as tedious backtracking and unfair/illogical game design. In terms of visuals,
texturing and lighting looked decent to me, but room geometry is quite boxy, which is most
noticeable in the caves that you would expect to contain more organic shapes. All in all,
this is a good debut level, and it will be interesting to see what the author comes up with
next." - Samu
"It has a strong TR1 vibe, with visuals and music that feel quite similar. The environments
are grand, and the puzzles are on the simpler side, a little short and happy tour." - cheng
