The Year Of 2004, 11th December Lara ponders on her bed, her eyes focused onto the laptop screen in search of anything that might be connecting the Syndicate to the events that traumatised her for quite some time. Every link leads to the same page, or result - nothing. Nothing to even give her a slight clue on where to start. "Can't stop." Lara mutters to herself, the clatter of teacups in the background as Winston approaches her room. The cats are sleeping besides her, silent in their slumber as she engrosses herself in the search for answers regarding this entire thing. Time passes, tea is drunk, night falls, and just as Lara decides to call it night, she manages to get a singular instance of the Syndicate's mention - an apartment complex in a city in Paris. Her eyes shine with hope in finding the answers she was desperately looking for, the numbness of her heart stiffening more than ever before. She grabs her backpack, her pistols and prepares for the fastest adventure in her life... |
