"Every time I play one of agents xps levels I know I’m gonna get some high quality visuals and presentation and that’s no different here as the snow, lights and Xmas decorations were just stunning. I confess I did actually play the Xmas demo sequel level first before playing this one and had a great time with that so thought I should deffo try this one as well. This level is both AOD and Xmas themed but unlike its sequel this is a proper city level with lots outdoor exploring of streets, gardens, courtyards and even graveyards as well as balcony’s and indoor areas such as sewers, cosy home dwellings, hotels and even a indoor market. Gameplay is very heavy on finding and using objects with a lot of platforming and a few other aspects like some pushable or shootable items. For challenges we have one timed run and steam, electrified water and swinging chains as the only real dangers unfortunately. I did follow a walkthrough because I couldn’t find a way out of the sewer (I never would of figured out that obscure slope-jump) and also because I was curious about what collecting all 30 secrets would unlock! I won’t spoil the surprise lol. After we’ve found our ticket in the hotel it’s time for a drink and a reunion with a tall dark handsome fella before the level ends with a lovely performance from the talented lounge singer lol. Overall a very well made level with lots to do and places to explore for secrets etc, personally I’d prefer more challenging or fun gameplay but with great visuals, appealing area layouts, festive atmosphere and some cute characters this level definitely knows how to charm." - John (25-Jan-2024)
"This is another Christmas level, that is heavily inspired by Angel of Darkness. Who knows me, knows that I am not a fan of AoD, and that to be honest I am not too into it.
But it didn't prevent me from enjoying this level.
The main gameplay I found(excluding the mandatory puzzles and locations, that I kinda consider secondary) was the lookout for the secrets: 30 Collectibles to look around for.
They are not too hard to find, but the fact they are that many, makes it a nice challenge. I loved that!
The areas look pretty nice. AgentXP managed to nicely recreate AoD Prague, including even the clock puzzle.
Sadly, other than the clock area, the level were not as remarkable or memorable. Just like the general gameplay.
Difficulty-wise, this is not that hard either. It's a pretty simple level, not too much difficult at all!

Overall, this level is a cool Christmas level. It is pretty relaxing and fun(I had my fun!), especially if you like secret hunting or Angel of Darkness. But the main gameplay and areas are sadly not that remarkable.

Recommended? Yes, Definitely. Totally recommended if you like many "small" secrets to hunt for (like me) or if you are a fan of Angel of Darkness. Also recommended during Christmas. Not as much recommended if you don't like the aforementioned features.

Difficulty? Easy.

Duration? Approx. 1h30m-2h30m" - TombExplorer (16-Apr-2023)
"I haven't played many agent levels other than the team levels, I guess because they're really popular and I like to play a lot of old/niche levels, but this one is genuinely really amazing. It's remarkable how she managed to almost perfectly replicate the atmosphere of TR6 Prague in the the older engine. The amount of secrets in agent levels can feel a bit excessive, but I can respect her doing her own thing and it has it's own charm always being alert looking for secrets. Highly recommended." - Lorax (04-Mar-2023)
"Finally ticked off a level I have been meaning to play for a while now! Was meant to play this last year and the year before but Christmas kinda passed me by before I could get around to it! This is masterfully crafted level. I liked how there was all sorts of branching paths all linked together by the Streets of Prague. Never been there myself but you definitely get them City Break vibes with the look and feel of the level haha! A perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit, would wholeheartedly recommend playing this level!" - Feats (13-Dec-2022)
"An amazing level! The first thing that I noticed was that for once the voice acting is actually excellent and not cringe-worthy. I mean, AgentXP makes a rather good Lara. The others actors are a bit less convincing, but not so much that it breaks immersion. Sometimes you can hear the weakness of the mics with a low sound quality, but for an amateur production, it certainly deserves praise. The second thing I noticed are the little sparrows! How cute were they! The map of the city (with a high resolution texture!) really helps navigating this level, so that it doesn't feel at all like a walking and backtracking game like other Christmas or city settings can. Finding the 30 secret decorations is a very compelling quest (but people in Prague don't like their Christmas decoration as I found at least four of those in trash bins). The new capabilities of TRNG are well used, as for example the automatic pause when you get explanations.
I was particularly astonished by the animated textures on the TV, I've got no idea (as an ancient builder) how it has been accomplished. All the different objects and object slots are put to good use. Lara pulling a car? How cool is that?! Surprising usage of the SAS_DRAG_BLOKE slot! With all those surprises, I even thought at one point that I would be tightroping on a Christmas tinsel, but that was only my imagination as there was a much simpler way to get to the other side (we call that a running jump xD). BUT, I still had another surprise coming my way. How did you make things shatterable only by a powerful weapon? How cool is that?
The atmosphere in the different places is finely crafted. As an example, I noticed the dripping water sound in the sewers. The indoor market to get the fuse for the elevator was convincing and well designed. The moment I saw the fusebox and couldn't shatter it like I would have in other games, I knew the forklift would play a role and I love those kind of designs that reward the player for being clever. I pushed the box aside as a reflex without even thinking, and boom, the forklift worked like a charm first time.
After finding all the secrets, I was almost expecting Lara to change outfit in this secret clothing shop so that she would be well dressed when she joined Kurtis. I wonder if it would have been possible with what TRNG can do.
If I really wanted to nitpick to suggest some ways to reach perfection, I'd say that some old objects could have been looking even better with higher definition texture and that the combination of different sounds and voice for Lara was a bit weird (e.g. she didn't sound the same when jumping than when climbing a box).
I did not see the two hours of gameplay go by. Much recommended for everyone, even in midsummer!" - TimJ (05-Aug-2022)
"It could seem too peaceful for such idea, but if AOD was to have a TRLE spinoff, it could likely only be this one, anchored to the parent game by the most abundant common element possible: the snow. It took some balls, precisely 31, to play, because I didn't let go until I found them all. Also got my coffee, both irl and in the game. Now leave me alone, I'm busy!" - DJ Full (16-Jul-2022)
"This level really deserves four 10s. A christmas continuation of the AoD story, Lara arrives in Prague again. The best christmas level I've ever played, it manages to be festive while maintaining a certain mysterious feel. Puzzles were great, especially the elevator one. The special reward for finding all the secrets is sweet. The hotel, the covered market, Vasiley's place... It's all so beautiful. Lovely work. Greatly recommended." - Aries (26-Jun-2021)
"A worthy addition to the HOF and AOD. From the opening atmosphere the player senses this will be a treat created by a builder with an eye for what flows, what really works for the TR gamer and so it is. It's also beautifully constructed with helpful tips along the way including a map. There are 30 secrets (apples) to be found leading to a bonus meeting and a solo singing performance. All this in a stunning Xmas setting and a really well-done video walkthrough that's worth a look even if not stuck. If you missed this Advent level in 2019 it's a must-play. Brava, AgentXP!" - Bene (26-Feb-2021)
"This level could have easily been the official Angel of Darkness sequel. I hope it does get continued some day, because it ended with a cutscene full of promise with respect to the story. The level is impeccably made, with beautiful exteriors (trees and bushes with a thick layer of snow on them) and Christmassy interiors. I love Lara's outfit too - I chose the denim version with the gun strapped to her leg. The builder gives the player a map and appropriate camera or text hints that make the playthrough flow smoothly (no backtracking or being misled to explore areas that are not yet accessible). The gameplay is not particularly difficult, there's a mildly challenging sequence of jumps and a rather novel timed sequence in the Christmas market that I recall. It also has some RPG elements, where you help NPCs with their predicaments, and they give you items to advance in the game. I had one slight frustration with finding out where to stand when paying the barista. I got 20/31 secrets, some of them easy, others more creatively hidden." - carolinux (16-Jan-2021)
"Excellently built city level, impressive with a lot of appreciated details and sounds. I was a bit worried that the gameplay would be only about running around and backtracking to find the next thing to do but with a little perseverance it began to flow rather nicely , with help of the city map or the name of the collected objects . Also the joy to discover areas with entertaining gameplay with puzzles or fun platforming. Beautiful and entertaining." - eRIC (04-Jun-2020)
"This author should be given a master's degree in architecture and decoration. Fantastic. About the gameplay, I didn't need to visit the same places more than twice 'cause the on-screen helping, the appropriate names for the keys and objects you pick up and the well placed cameras. Excellent. Even more, when you visit an area, often you'll find all what you need to avoid backtracking later. All this combined with a perfect texturization, a good use of the musics and entertaining tasks, makes this game a jewel you can't miss. Thank you very much AgentXP! Highly recommended." - Jose (20-Feb-2020)
"This level is quite good! It reminds me a lot when I was playing Tomb Raider AOD when I was a child. I really liked the scenarios, movements, sounds and everything! I enjoyed a lot playing this level and I really recommend it!" - xManuelCroft (05-Feb-2020)
"This level perfectly reproduce the Prague scene of Angel of Darkness. It's great! I wonder if they joined core design 17years ago they may save AOD....." - lilutong (05-Jan-2020)
"Really love this entry, it was well designed and had lots of things to do, even though it is a peaceful level. Took me 4 hours to finish it and still didn´t find all the ornaments, gaarrrh! Only thing I had trouble with was that sewer jump when going with the fuse back up, nearly gave up on that. Overall, great Christmas level and has lots of verticality to it too!" - Raina Audron (02-Jan-2020)
"This delightful level simply oozes the Christmas spirit, even when Lara is breaking and entering, stealing things and working her characteristic mayhem. I used the builder's insightful video walk in preparing a written guideline for the players. I was in no hurry to finish and took two and a half hours working my way through a map that required the builder a bit less than one hour. Many flares are provided, but the lighting is so good that I rarely had to use one. Much of the game revolves around finding 30 secrets scattered throughout the village, but you don't miss a great deal if you fail to get them all. There are a few timed sequences, but they're quite generous and undue haste is not required. The main drawing card for this level is its ambiance, something rarely if ever surpassed in an Advent level. High recommendations." - Phil (31-Dec-2019)
"Absolutely loved this level! Great atmosphere and intriguing story set in the AOD universe, with lots to do and not a moment of confusion. The build was flawless, I didn't encounter any glitches and the gameplay was nice and smooth. Prague is looking extremely beautiful, a lovely city with many things to look at and wonder!" - young Lara Croft (29-Dec-2019)
"Very authentic city level that oozes atmosphere from start to finish and all the areas are very carefully built. A few textures are slightly distorted and objects stuck in walls but it is another very professional game from this talented builder. The whole secret quest was very engaging, it doesn't really matter that a few ornament balls are a bit too easy to find. I ended up with 28 at the end and had to return to near the start to find the last two. I could've done without the major backtrack to find the final reward, but it was still a sweet easter egg (perhaps not the best term to use in a Christmas level). The gameplay is quite decent as well. Actually there are a few rather uninspired parts but the exploration of the city was immersive enough to keep interest and the rest of the game really delivers, also with a few quite nice puzzles. This 50 minute level really has a lot going for it and with some more varied gameplay the announced continuation could be a masterpiece. Finished in 50 minutes." - manarch2 (27-Dec-2019)
"Well, I only managed to find 21 secrets, so I unlocked nothing and that totally wrecked my Christmas! :( Now, really, I wish I had but I didn't, it seems quite a few of them must be really well hidden. Still, I found the architecture and the atmosphere excellent in the AoD's Prague spirit and there's a lot to do indeed. Quite a lot of the action is very puzzling, let's face it. After I got the coins and the bills, I had a really hard time using them at the cafe because I had to be some place specific for anything to happen (one of the customary TR dazzling issues) but in the meantime I managed to take a few more rounds and find this and that, here and there. All in all, a great Christmas present for which I'm thankful. And to be continued!" - Jorge22 (26-Dec-2019)
"I had the pleasure of beta testing this level and I absolutely loved it, I really enjoyed every single aspect of it. I love how Agent always manages to balance between the storyline and playthrough as well as puzzles. As it's Christmas time, I found myself smiling all the time exploring the level due to the amazing extra Christmas details. Not overly complicated puzzles, good hints without giving it too much away, and most importantly, a chill level where you get the chance to explore around and engage with the atmosphere. I really enjoyed hunting for the 30 secrets as it gave me the opportunity to explore the whole level and the reward made my day! I would like to thank you for making yet another amazing level and I can't wait for the second part." - Lara_Shin (24-Dec-2019)
"This is wonderfully crafted in the spirit of the festive season and offers so much more to the player than the usual key hunting and switch pulling. The scenery looks absolutely gorgeous and delightful and the music choice is excellent, while the various voiceovers add a touch of charm to the experience. Navigating this huge cityscape with its many twists and turns can be quite daunting, but AgentXP has courteously provided a map to help orientate you. I managed to find a total of 26 out of 31 Christmas decorations, so unfortunately no bonus for me, but the overall experience was so enjoyable that it wasn't tarnished a bit. They must have been so well hidden. I ended with 100 minutes on the clock and loved every moment. Thank you!" - Ryan (24-Dec-2019)
"Spectacular! I’m not normally much of a secret hunter, but I really tried with this one and got 25, which is pretty good for me. Agent XP is an incredibly talented builder – not only producing the most amazing levels, but also providing an excellent Lara voiceover AND a video walkthrough, which I dipped into at the end to see what I’d missed by not decorating the tree. Well, with a level this good, you really don’t want to miss a single area. I really loved everything about this level; the atmosphere is wonderful, the scenery breathtaking and the gameplay varied, fresh and exciting. Plus, at the end it says ‘to be continued’. Oh, yes please." - Jay (23-Dec-2019)
"There we go! Agent has reached the building level where her gameplay matches her skills in other areas. Therefore, the marks given so far speak for themselves. Not only that the garage looks and feels like a garage, but it also includes tasks that are so heavyly garage-related. Same goes for the warehouse, sewer, hotel and every other area. Everything is so elaborate but still easy to do - that's the essence of good gameplay and Agent has mastered it. Secret hunt is more fun than ever before and it feels more like another primary than secondary task. The only thing I don't like is the fact that Kurtis isn't dead, because I've always hated him, but that's fully on me. I hope he gets killed in the sequel. Highest recommendations (for the level, not for my idea)!" - Tolle87 (23-Dec-2019)
"Absolutely wonderful Christmas level. Had so much fun playing this. The environments are beautiful, festive and have so many thoughtful touches that it's a pleasure to just walk around and sight see. The tasks were varied and enjoyable, involving much more than just finding keys and pulling levers. The secret quest will keep players occupied for sometime as they search high and low for the tree ornaments. Some were very sneaky, and many of them are placed in out-of-the way rooms and locations, making it worthwhile to find them so you can explore more of the city. I broke down and watched AgentXP's play-along video walk through for the few that I had missed. I wanted to get into the secret room! Watching the video and hearing her commentary on some thought processes that inspired certain areas was a bonus. I enjoyed the behind the scenes experience. Go play it! It's well worth your time and is no quick jaunt through the snowy park. Appropriate for children, there are no enemy encounters." - Chel (22-Dec-2019)
"Well Agent has done it again. A beautifully Stunning Christmas level that i thoroughly enjoyed playing. The whole level was incredible, stunning textures and scenery with great lighting through out. Game play and puzzles were well designed and fairly simple yet made you think. A nice use of Christmas objects throughout that really added to the atmosphere of the game. Lighting was brilliant never a dark area to struggle to see everything was clear and concise and also the characters used in game were very well done with mild humour included that never fails to make me laugh. The secrets were well hidden as i only manged to find 21 out of 30 but i will be replaying to find them all. A level that leaves you wanting to play again and wanting more is always a treat. Play this level you wont be disappointed! Great Level Great builder." - Lady_Wise (22-Dec-2019)
"An absolute stunner of a level. It ticked all the boxes: excellent music/background ambient - adequate and beautiful lighting - wonderful textures with lots of love for detail (read the books and bookcovers) - no puzzle too hard, no jump too mean, no timed run too tight. May I add that the visual hints really made the puzzles a lot easier, the camera was on point, (no fixed camera moment either which is another of my pet peeves). At first I was not really into the idea of THIRTY secrets, but because they were mostly really easy to find, I got more and more into it, and in the end it was more important to me to find them all than to finish the game lol! I would have missed one bauble but accidentally saw where it was when I consulted AgentXP's playthrough because I was stuck in the garage; so by all rights I found 30 of 31 and am very happy with that. The buildings were very well put together and decorated appropriately, the map was neither too large nor too small. This is one level I would start over right away which I don't do with a lot of them. Fully recommended. Playtime ca 3 hours if you (like me) are too dumb to spot a jumpswitch in bright light. :) Thank you AgentXP and Merry Christmas!" - Manymee (22-Dec-2019)
"Oh, wow, I don't even know where to begin. For starters, the recreation of main square from Prague, as seen in AOD, is spot on -- even better here, actually. And to go with it, you get a whole city with a lot (and I mean it) of different environments and activities to do. You go through sewers, apartments, a car shop, a marketplace, a park and a hotel. You talk to a handful NPCs, including a homeless person which I thought was a nice touch having Lara help him through the cold night with a cup of coffee and a hotel maid who's in trouble with a non-functional elevator. It's just such a fun and complete experience that I couldn't stop playing. It's 3am as I'm writing this and I have no regrets. The attention to detail is also quite unique. I haven't played any of AgentXP's levels to the best of my knowledge but now I know this is something I have to fix as soon as possible. Snow, tree leaves moving in the wind, little birds spread throughout the level, even the little table lamps in the coffee shop are actually plugged to a wall. So many things here had me in awe that I couldn't list them even if I wanted to. Bottomline is: do not miss out on this one. 95 minutes, 26 secrets. 12/19" - Treeble (22-Dec-2019)
"I really enjoyed playing this level, everything was well made, the detail of the city is very atmospheric, the tasks were pleasing nothing hard neither easy, lighting and textures are great. I'll be waiting for the next one." - ameliacrofty (21-Dec-2019)
